Original Action Fantasy Adventure

This sounds pretty interesting, but what sort of powers are we talking about? Do the characters have powers or the NPCs? What level or types of powers do they have?

The powers are going to be very dynamic. Your main will start off as a regular human, and through many trials and tribulations, you will be able to learn diverse powers. Everything from elemental powers to the wildest stretches of your imagination will be possible eventually. Your main will also train each power to become more powerful in that power (more on that during game play). As far as non-main characters, they too may have powers if you so chose, but they will be more static in that you won't be training them to become stronger and stronger.

A New World

Hello, I'm just checking in to see if anyone would like to go on an original story writing adventure with me. I have a story in mind, or major plot points I should say.

The story begins when 5 strangers wake up in a strange Utopian like world. Abducted from different points in factual, to date, human history, these strangers quickly discover that things are not as they seem. All injuries conspicuously heal themselves. Hunger and thirst are no longer sensations. Poverty is non existent, and currency is not even needed. These strangers will uncover the secrets of this new world.

I would like to keep the number of participants to a set number of 5. To better quicken the pace of the plot, I will be participating. In other words, there are only 4 open positions in this RP already.

There will be more characters however. Aside from each person's main character, everyone will be allowed to create side characters, with approval, in order to prevent any over powered characters.

Speaking of 'powered', this story will appeal to fans of super powers. In this universe, there will be flashy super powers, mysteries to solve, and plenty of action packed, dynamic adventure. As mentioned, I do have soem of this adventure mapped out. I dare say that there may already be months worth of content ready to go.

I am looking for 4 writers that can commit to writing a post or two per day, with the occasional days off of course. Before taking a break, I would appreciate temporarily writing off your main character, followed by gracefully writing yourself back into the RP later.

In short, if you are interested in joining an action packed, super power filled, original adventure, you should respond to this thread. Let me know if you are interested or if you have any questions. I will be happy to answer anything that doesn't create a spoiler of an answer.

Actually, you don't have to PM me. Just talk to each other via PM. Then continue to write in the IC section. Simply get your two characters both to the entrance of the "Underworld", via discovering the back alley door. I will then respond appropriately. :)

I was considering shutting this RP down to an apparent lack of interest but after Zombehs most recent post, I've decided to change that decision.

Instead, I am not going to post a time skipping post in the IC thread for this week. It shall stay night time for another week. And I have also lowered the goal that it takes to go on this first quest. Now, @Zombehs and @Bai Suzhen are strong enough to go on the quest together.

I suggest you talk to each other first about how often you plan to post. The only posting rule when completing a quest is to meet a certain number of posts per person, that and the commonly understood rule to not double post. Other than that, you can stretch your story out as long as you like. Or you can decide on a time you will both be online and knock it out in no time.

Once you are on the same page, contact me and I will get things going.

Alright everybody. As promised, today is Wednesday, and I have posted the next plot moving post in the IC section. I also condensed the opening OOC post and added a new section to both the opening OOC and IC posts.

Nightfall starts to decend upon Paradise City and if one has been vigilant, something “off” is quite apparent, a taboo subject from which smiling locals shy away. The subject of all this angst is the so called, “Underworld” that is said to lie underneath Paradise City.

All the information on this touchy subject can be found on paper fliers that are on the occasional lamp post or wall. These fliers do not stay up very long as flying cleaner drones tend to snatch them up along with any other trash. If you do happen to get your hands on one of these fliers before it is swept away, this is what you will read:

The Underworld Beckons

Something feel “off” about Paradise City?

Feel like there is more than meets the eye?

There is!

Do not be fooled! Do not be complacent! Do not FORGET!!!

Explore Paradise City’s back alleys long enough and you will eventually find the door to the “Underworld”. But the “Underworld” is not for the faint of heart. First we will need to prepare you, to make you stronger. And when you finally reach the end, you will be ready. You will be closer to the TRUTH!

NOTE: Each character must be at least Lv. 3 to participate in this quest, and the combined level of your party must be 6 or above. In other words, a party of two is the easiest route. If you don't meet these requirements, the man behind the door to the underworld won't let you pass.
