Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Btw guys, check out the 1st OOC post again, specifically the section on battles. None of the mechanics have changed, but there are some extra details there you might like.

Along those same lines, you can take another look at Professor Eugene's character sheet. He has Pokemon now. When you get stronger, you may want to battle him for fun. Every NPC that I put in that post will have Pokemon from now on, and you are able to schedule battles with them.
Just as Liz started drifting to sleep she heard a large ruckus. A group of Aipom attacking a Murkrow through the trees. That smacked the poor thing down in front of her and took off when they saw Liz. The Murkrow got up, with murder in it's eyes. But Liz already let one go, she wasn't about to lose an other.

"Hephaestus, we got a second chance buddy, let's go, ember!!" She called tossing her pokeball in the air not giving the angry Murkrow a chance to leave.

As the embers leapt from Chimchar's mouth, Murkrow instinctively turned to face them. She tried to avoid them, but it was too late. The embers damaged her right wing as she tried to move out of the way. So another Pokemon and a trainer wanted a piece of her huh? Fine then! A dark aura lit up around her. She was going in for a direct Pursuit attack.

Result: Murkrow Takes Damage

Liz called back Arachne to her ball and continued on her way, eventually she found the edge of the forest and decided that was the perfect spot to crash. She would wake up early and make it to town and see if they had a gym she could challenge. She thought back to her first day as a trainer, it wasn't smooth by any means, but she will take all she learned and do better tomorrow. She pulled out her Pokedex and sent a quick message to Rin.

Calling it a night, hope your day was somewhat better than mine!! She rolled over preparing to go to bed.

As Liz prepared for sleep, a familiar sound came from the depths of the forest. It was another Murkrow. Behind this Murkrow was a pack of wild Aipom. For whatever reason, these Aipom were not happy. The Murkrow tried her best to fight off the four Aipom, as they slowly drove her to the edge of the forest with forceful smack downs from their fist/tails.

The Murkrow then came tumbling out of the trees and hit the ground rolling. Just behind the pack of Aipom, came the slightly deeper sound of an Ambipom. It had spotted the trainer at the edge of the forest. At the command of the Ambipom, wild pack of Aipom retreated.

The Murkrow then got up shaking off dirt from her feathers. She looked absolutely livid and was somehow unharmed. This wasn't the same calm manured Murkrow Liz had ran into before. This Murkrow was ready to rush back into the forest and continue fighting. She was very rash indeed.

OMG, now that was fucking perfect!! You had me cracking up!!

Awesome!

Well, I'm going to call it a night. I'll respond to your last post in the morning, when I wake up.
"Sorry again about that, we will just be on our way. You enjoy the rest of your night. I hope you catch something yummy!!" She turned and began walking away from the wild spinarak.

Spinarak watched as the girl walked away.

Ahh! What a wonderful moment. It was time for sleep though, but first, he had to calm his mind. Otherwise, his Spinarak wife would surely know something was up...
Didn't see that coming did ya @balthazar007

Haha! And how do you like the response? lol
Unbeknown to Liz, a Spinarak web was in front of her, of course she walked into it. Just her luck, the Pokemon came out and seemed very upset with her.

"I am terribly sorry dear. Here, allow my Arachne to help you rebuild it!!" She released her Spinarak. It crawled up her arm, and looked at her. "My dear, I may have destroyed this poor guys web,
will you be a peach and help him rebuild it??"
Arachne nodded and began stringing together a new web.

The wild Spinarak was amazed. He was a mere foot away from the trainer and staring right at her. Yet she still walked right into his web! Oh she was about to get it! The horn on top of his head started to shine with a bright purple light.

That's when Liz released her own Spinarak. In his eyes, the magical red light that released her created a heart shaped frame around her beautiful body. It faded away as she slowly walked across her trainer's outstretched arm in slow motion. In actually it was just a normal Pokemon release followed by a quick scurry up an arm. But that's not the way Mr. Spinarak saw it.

And wouldn't you know it. She would even help him rebuild his web! Together they worked happily. The scene was a classical montage of slow motion action, where legs would brush up against one another and eyes would frequently lock. It was magical.

Again, in real time, the two of them rebuilt the web in a matter of seconds.
Her mind once again drifted to her rival, she hopes to see them at the next time so they might battle again, or do something else. They had a warm caring way about them that Liz was unused to from people. She knew with them she didn't have to be so withdrawn, though she doubted she could even if she wanted to. She felt like she almost missed him somewhat, which threw her off even more. She shook her head to get rid of the thoughts she was having, and to stay better focused on keeping an eye out for any pokemon or anything else.

Onward through the forest Liz walked as time ticked away. It was too dark for her to see the web that was woven in the path in front of her. She was heading straight for it. Suddenly, from somewhere out of the distance, a wild Spinarak came crawling out onto its web. He stopped right in the middle of it and stared at the trainer. He would not be forced to build another web, no sir. He was very adamant about that.

"You win, I have no pokemon left, and wasted enough time here.
I am going to move on, so should you."
She said to the Murkrow. Liz walked off leaving the Pokemon behind heading towards the next time, hopefully she will get out of these woods soon, maybe be lucky to find a spot to wait out the rest of the night. Or find an easier to catch pokemon.

Awe, the Murkrow felt a twinge of sadness for the poor trainer (and perhaps some regret toward being so rough against her Pokemon). Murkrow couldn't just let the girl walk off so glum, but at the same time she couldn't just give herself up.

She knew!

Quickly, the Murkrow fluttered over to a nearby bush, just ahead of the trainer, off the main path. From the top of this bush she calls out to the trainer. When she get's the trainers attention, she bends her head down and picks a berry. It's tossed into the air and then lands comfortably in her mouth. She nibbles on the berry for a moment before flying away.

Liz silently cursed to herself, she wasn't going to give up so easily. She knew she was about to make a big mistake, but her options were limited.

"Hephaestus, that's enough come back!! Arachne, this is our first battle together, show me what you have, just be careful of it's wing attack!!
Use Poison Sting!!"
Hephaestus retreated into his pokemon and the brand new spinarak came out, it's horn already glowing.

Murkrow watched as the trainer took out another Pokeball. She also contemplated running away at the same time. But when a fresh Sninarak entered the field, her bird instincts wear activated. Let's just say, she found a new hunger for the battle.

Her wings lit up once more. In an instant, she was off! With blinding speed she closed in on her prey.

Result: Murkrow is Not Impressed
