Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

ahhh okay, that makes sense! so do we ping you everytime we want to find an item or do we just go ahead and make ourselves able to find items that are in the area descriptions? which do you prefer? and are there 'hidden items' like there are pokemon?

OOOH ALSO do you remember those berry pots from gen 4?? are those available in this rp?? It's okay if they're not but i really liked those items so I just thought I'd ask!

edit: one more question... is there a path from Muzin Beach to Quiet Road? or will they have go back through breezy forest to get to Quiet Road? all in all, I'm fine either way but I just wanted to ask.

You don't have to ping me to find something that is already in the description of the area. But ping me whenever you are exploring an area to find new things, yes. And yes, some items are only discoverable (ie hidden), meaning even if you find one, it won't permanently be available in the description of the area.

I could introduce berry pots as a key item. And I even have a good idea of where/how you will aquire it.

There is no shortcut back. You'll have to go through breezy forest again.

I'll have to respond to your latest IC post tomorrow morning I believe. I'm getting ready for work.
@prettydrops@TheForgottenArc

Wow, I just got done placing all the berries that will be in this RP, as well as a few other items. And I have a vague idea of how I will place other items as we progress. That took a while though. LOL

Anytime I reveal a new item in an area, I will update that area's description. I.E. If you look at the description for Muzin Beach, it now talks about pearls.
He decided to wade around the water. Weren't there things like pearls and star pieces on beaches? Surely they were prizes to be sold. He saw a glint in the water. What was it...

The glint of a small pearl, that was what caught Indigo's eye. The waves would recede to the ocean to reveal the valuable item, then return to cover it. Each time the waves receded, the pearl was either a little further inland, or further to the ocean. If Indigo didn't act fast, the valuable stone might wash away.

@Balthazar007Idk if we are allowed to find items on our own?? Interested to see what Indy can find! XP

Actually no, not yet. I want to place items on the map. I'll start on that in a couple hours. (The beach will have plenty of berries along the shore.).
Done! Will respond with a quick post pushing to the next day forward c:

Cool. I updated the time and music in the 1st IC post.
@TheForgottenArc@prettydrops

I hope my last post was fine. I am very tired and if it was too meta-game Ill change it tomorrow. Sorry for the lack of consistent posting, My schedule is almost always packed atm.

I see nothing wrong with any of the posts you two put up today. You played the situations out logically and in an interesting way.

Also: for getting involved in the Rattata vs Burmy scuffle, Hawka gains 1 more level, raising her to level 7. And I'm placing Burmy at level 5 (for attempting tackle but failing horribly)

Also on this note, @prettydrops, please update your character sheet with these updates.
"Say, let's-" But he was cut off by a gigantic, dark Rattata that darted out from the bushes and stole the food directly from his hand!

The Dark Rattata scurried a few feet away before turning around to face the two young men. He was taunting them, laughing at the ease by which his plan worked.

Then, out of the tree tops came the Burmy that had also been lurking in the shadows. The brave little creature dived toward the wild Rattata with all his might. Unfortunately, his mastery of the move "Tackle" was not complete, and he missed horribly. Still he managed to right himself almost immediately, and stared at the Rattata with harsh eyes. This Burmy was a hero (young and inexperienced, sure) but a true protector, nonetheless.
yay! also, hope the last post was okay. It was kind of world-buildy and may have been too much inference on my part, so I can edit it if it's a problem~

I don't mind what you did there. It makes things interesting. :)
I used a site to make little avatars of Indigo and Dan!

I hope you guys like them! xP

That's cool!
@TheForgottenArc@prettydrops:

Okay, I've pushed the story along by one hour. It is now night time.

With the introduction of the Dark (Alolan) Rattata, that is all the Pokemon your characters will be able to find in the forest at night. There is one more Pokemon that is available during the daytime.

Any other Pokemon in the forest are too good at hiding to be found by your characters yet.
