Bio

This is my second profile on here, and I have been Play-By-Post RPing for about nine years now. I do my best to see every RP to the end or at least let my character come to his/her own dramatic conclusion when I feel like signing off. Just like novel writing in real life, I tend to find myself on long hiatuses. Since writing is a great way to work out your brain, I try stay engaged as much as possible.

My favorite genres include futuristic worlds, mysteries, and super powers. Any mixture of these three elements will peek my interest.

Yeah sorry i wasnt able to post as well. Ill try to have a post up by Wednesday afternoon

Nice post.

FYI @TheForgottenArc, just because drops has started controlling Sydney, doesn't mean you cant. Minor characters are shared by all three of us.
I can't really post much or anything at all today or tomorrow, Had some stuff happen and I need to be by a friend's side for a bit. I hope you two understand. I should be back to posting around Wednesday night.

No worries here. I hope things improve for your friend.
@Balthazar007much appreciated! though I'll also have indigo probably catch a spewpa and explore for pokemon if you don't mind! love the npc though! would love if he could encourage indigo to keep his burmy and appreciate 'grosser' looking pokemon creatures as well.

The ball is in your court. I've created the character, and I can control him somewhat, but you can control him just as much since he's a minor character. You can control his actions, speach, and all that within your IC posts (just stay true to his character sheet).

The Scatterbug family (i.e. spewpa) is already listed in the route's description, so if you want one, simply write about Indigo's encounter with one and catch to your heart's content.

The only thing you NEED me for is exploring for new Pokemon and new items. Simply mention that Indigo is looking for Pokemon in an IC post, and I'll reveal a new Pokemon. And of course, when there are no more available Pokemon, I'll let you know.
@TheForgottenArc@prettydrops

My latest post pushes the timeline along to later in the afternoon, because the only actions that you two seemed concerned with were searching for items and traveling to the next town. There are no new items in the western forested half of the route, and since the route is 12 hours long, that is why I pushed forward 6 hours.

There is a new item in the second half of the route, but first, I'm introducing the opportunity for a minor trainer battle. You will find the character sheet for this person (Sydney) in the "Minor NPC Characters" section that I've added right bellow "Major NPC Characters". Minor characters can be controlled by both of you as much as you like, as long as you are true to the information given in their character sheets.

If one of you choose to battle Sydney, I will introduce his Pokemon (he's not as strong as your rivals were). You can then either, ask for a showdown battle and risk loosing. Or you can just describe the battle IC and decide on your own whether you win or loose. Either way, all Pokemon that battle will gain 1 level.
After they had packed and healed their pokemon up, they were on Quiet Road, starting their new trip once again. Indigo was looking around for items. What would he find? He thought he saw something-- on the ground or the bush?

Together, the two walked for hours. All the while, Indigo kept his eyes peeled for anything that could be of use, but all he saw were a few Cheri Berry bushes, and occasionally a Kee Berry bush. There didn't seem to be anything new to find in the forested half of this route.

Six hours into their hike, they came to the forests edge. That's when they saw someone else. A young man was crawling around on the ground with his back turned to them. What was he doing? One had to wonder...
@Balthazar007also how did you make that map?? Did you do it via a mouse or did you use a tablet? Im asking bc i really want to make maps for some of my dnd campaigns but all ive found is this fantasy map generator and it takes forever to use tbh

I used this map website to create an entire world: https://topps.diku.dk/torbenm/maps.msp

Of course, I played around with the settings until I got a look that I liked, and I zoomed in on a landmass that looked appropriate for a new region.

Then I saved that image.

Next, I opened a google draw, and started layering on the locations, roads, and a few hand drawn things like rivers and lakes. And I used transparent shapes to cover certain areas to show snowy and desert regions.

Voila!
@TheForgottenArc@prettydrops

Wait, really? Have you two not seen the map? Click on the Region Map link in the 1st IC post. You'll see that Shamba town is east of Wanzo town.

The map is a publicly accessable Google drawing.
Had to do a very short post. Don't have much time to post today. Sorry guys.

No worries. We all good.

Also, for both of you, don't forget to add one level to all Pokemon that battled (if you haven't already).
@prettydrops@TheForgottenArc

While my latest post mentions stuff happening "long after Daniel and Indigo left" I did not mean for that to push the timeline forward. They are off to their own adventures now and their own timeline.

I only added 15 minutes to the clock to account for the time it took to set up and finish battling. Whoever posts next can pick up right after the twins turn their backs to Daniel and Indigo.
The crowd cheered as the twins took down their opponents handily. "They're so cool!" "This is their first battle?" "I impressed that boy could even beat one of Jack's Pokemon." "I got the whole thing on video!" "Me too!" "Yeah, me too!"

"Congratulations," he said, trying to put his best face forward. "That was fun."

Jack smiled politely. "Yes it was, and you did a good job. I look forward to our rematch some day."

Dan looked at Jill and smiled and held his hand out for a handshake

"Good match, You wiped the floor with me!" Dan said smiling. It didn't bother him losing this fight, He just thought of it as a learning experience.

With an honest smile, Jill shook hands. "Yeah, don't worry about it though. I'm no ordinary trainer. You're looking at the future Grand Champion of Septoh. You did well considering..."

The twins then turned their backs to Daniel and Indigo. They stepped toward the crowd to give some after match quotes. The crowd formed a circle around them, blocking Daniel and Indigo out completely.

After answering questions, after Daniel and Indigo had long since left, Jack and Jill finally managed to escape the huddle of fans.

"Hey, what were those two trainer's names?" Jill asked, trying hard to remember.

"Who cares." Jack replied dully.

So Jill shrugged it off, and on they walked.
