Resident Evil: Atonement (Interest check)

I just wanted to see if anyone would be interested in a new Resident Evil RP. This one will take place after the events of my other RP, Resident Evil: Neo. Don't worry, you don't have to know all the events of that RP to participate in this one.

The story: The year is 2026 and things are, well, as normal as they can be given the circumstances. There are those who create B.O.W.s and there are those who fight against them. However, the line between man and monster has been blurred in recent years. Can mankind coexist with viral mutations? Can we truly overcome our past mistakes? And, what does it truly mean to be "human"? Our heroes will face these moral tests while facing off against foes both old and familiar.

The Rules-

1. OCs are allowed.
2. No killing other players' characters (that's just rude).
3. Romance is allowed. HOwever, anything "adult" will need to be done in PMs.

The following characters will be needed for the RP-

William Birkin (Clone)
Albert Wesker (Clone)

"I won't. And, thank you, again." Charlie nodded.

She then gets up and makes her way to the entrance of the bar and goes through the door. Part of her is nervous to what awaits her, but part of her feels reassured that things will be ok. That, at the very least, she no longer has to face them alone.

@BaronOBeefDip Sounds like Charlie got her catharsis! 😀 I can start to wrap things up then, unless there's something else Charlie wants to do while she's still here?

Since the RP is what happens inside Catharsis, once the character leaves, that's the end of that story thread (until they return, if they do).

I think Charlie is ready to leave and find Birkin in the real world.

Multiverse Adventures

"Oh, good, you can talk." Charlie spoke as she tried desperately not to get sucked into the vortex, "I'd explain what's going on, but we're currently trying not to be erased from all of existence."

Fumbling in his pockets, Enma pulled out a key. He then turned it as though he was unlocking a door. Incredibly, a gateway opened leading to another world.

"Hurry!" he shouted before jumping inside.

Without a second thought, Charlie jumped inside the gateway as well.

Multiverse Adventures

Enma also turned around to face the abomination. He took a deep breath before unleashing hellfire upon the eldritch thing. The abomination was struck by both the gold trinkets and the hellfire. For a brief moment, it stopped. It was eerily still with only the occasional warping and twisting of its form.

"Did we stop it?" Charlie asked hopefully.

A loud ominous hum began to emit from the abomination as it resumed moving again. Faster. More violent. Its stuttering motions became so erratic that it looked like it would tear itself apart at any moment. Its center began ripping open revealing...nothing. An empty void.

And, then, the void began pulling everything towards it.

Resident Evil: Neo

I'm gonna put this RP on hold for a bit. It's not over necessarily. Just on pause.

"Of course I'll find you." Charlie nodded reassuringly, "I just need to know where to look. In the meantime, stay out of trouble, and try to keep that cute little belly of yours. You always were self conscious about your weight. If you ask me, you look better with that pudge."

She hugged him again and kissed him on the cheek. Charlie then turned her attention to the bartender. She felt a proverbial weight lifted from her shoulders and was ready to face whatever came her way.

"Thank you. Um, before I go, if I can go, do I need to pay you?" she asked.

Mostly I just want Birkin and Charlie to find each other outside the bar and end up together. I think they're each other's catharsis. Charlie needing to tell Birkin she loves him and Birkin needing to be loved.
