Hey sweeties!

My name is Eve, I'm an 17 year old living in England currently trying to get into university to do art. I've only just back into roleplaying this year but I can honestly say I'm so glad I decided to do so!! I have an art account on Instagram where I post some stuff I do ( really I should post more) Art account
I love cartoons and webcomics; in particular I like 'over the garden wall','Steven universe' and 'Satan and me'. I also have a love for gorey animes (magi puella, attack on titan ect) and I do love a good philosophical debate!

I enjoy a lot of different types of roleplays and I would really like to get into some fantasy ones at some point. Mostly I'd like to be able to make some good friends on this site, it would just be really nice to have someone to bounce ideas off of and chat with; so just send me a message if you'd like to start chatting!!

Name: Marie Carol Ross
Nickname: /
Age: 68
Gender:♀
Occupation: Landlady and she makes from home herbal remedies
Sexual orientation: Heterosexual
Appearance: Shoulder length greyish/brown hair. Weathered olive skin from years of traveling before she settled down in her 30s. Green eyes. Has a large scar from a gash on her left arm which never healed well. Normally wears the most comfortable clothes she can find as she doesn't care for how she looks anymore.
Personality: Wary to most people she meets, it takes her a while to open up or trust someone and even then she tends to not talk about personal issues to people she trusts. She tends to be pessimistic about most situations, believing that everything will fail before its even started. She enjoys gardening, reading and visiting her husbands grave whenever she can.
Allergies/medical: Back pain and other aches with her bones.
Things they are easily affected by: New situations, dealing with rowdy individuals and spiders

She has a few old jars of herbs but she keeps all of the ones she uses in her bungalow; the jars have been left then from when she moved out to the back of the garden .
He can choose to not be seen by Marie (which is a power which all the demons have) and could not mention it too her. There's an odd chance that she might have invited him, but she tends to be wary of the demons on a whole.

So the kitchen isn't in the main house?

I've placed Marie in the main house in that kitchen cleaning atm, but her kitchen with all her herbs in it is in her annex.
I should have been more clear with this, sorry it's my fault.
The change to where Marie is should fit in with the other posts in the IC now though.
Also you can add Freya to the character tab now!!
Marie

Marie glanced over at Dirka, a soft smile on her lips at the demons kindness.
"Thank you sweetie, I'd appreciate that."
She gazed around at the dusty surroundings and then down to the limp feather duster in her hand, "I should have started this hours ago" she mumbled under her breath. Sighing she began dusting again, watching Ravus out of the corner of her eye as she did. She didn't bother responding to his earlier comments, he knew why she couldn't kick them out, he knew she needed the money. She also knew that he wouldn't like the new tenants; after all they were students, they were loud and he wasn't fond of loud, nevertheless she had faith that he wouldn't cause too much commotion. It wasn't him she was worried about.
As fast as she could she dusted around the kitchen, glancing at the herbs on the shelves, noting inwardly that they needed to be removed as soon as possible. Although she knew her last efforts of cleaning were basically pointless, she still carried on, trying with strained effort against the aches in her back to make the surrounding area look in some from presentable.

I forgot to add this at the beginning but Marie's Bungalow/Annex is towards the back of the garden and is inside the boundaries of the house, so demons can enter it, however she is very protective over it and tends to get angry if they do. Since she doesn't like entering the house that much she normally uses a side gate to enter in and out of the property through the garden; this also explains why the house is quite dusty.

On the personality part would you like to jot down some basic personality points which you can then add upon when you have time?
Changing 2 things in my character. 1st is my extra power, the current one is to OP. 2nd is my emotional prefernce

I just checked it on the character tab and that's fine! I actually really like the changes; the power and the emotion work well together.

I didn't see it. But it's fine he's up and ready for action, also, also, I'd like to throw a human into the mix I'm working on her nao~

If you manage you finish her up today that would be great, otherwise we can just have her as a late started by a day or 2 which shouldn't be much of an issue. This is just because i want to get the IC up and running, I hope you don't mind.
Ok so I've put the basic scene setting up in the IC so we should be ready to hit the road with the rp. If I've missed something the just let me know ( my heads a bit scrambled atm cause I'm a bit ill ) or if you want to ask something about setting ect.
The idea is that all the students have been mailed their keys to the house already so that Ms Ross doesn't have to come too early to let them all in, but she will pop her head in at some point.
Again the idea is that the demons start up slowly with their antics so that they can get a feeling for the new tenants.

@Dealdric
They're characters from a kids cartoon x

Yes, but I prefer not to. Carebear

I can't tell if this was meant as an insult or not; its original if it was but can we please keep the OOC friendly, there's no need to start arguments from nothing x

Marie

The clock read 5:06AM as Marie slowly sat up in her bed. It was September the 4th; the day the new tenants arrived at the house. Her childhood house which held so many memories... some she'd gladly forget.
Pulling a shawl around her she rose from her bed, feeling her old age in her bones and winced as she straightened her back. Looking over at the clock once more, she sighed. For the past week she hadn't been able to sleep well, worrying about the house. Guilt plagued her chest but she quelled it; after all, she had needed the money and she was sure nothing bad would happen... nothing too bad.
Opening her curtains of her bungalow, she gazed out upon the quite street. Birds and the glow of sunrise on the horizon broke through the tranquil murkiness.
Biting down upon her worry and fear, she traced the white scar on her upper arm which she had received in that house years before. Her skin had never healed properly on the area, leaving a brash white area of scar tissue which stood out against her olive skin.
First rays of sunlight hit her weathered skin and a small tear slipped from the corner of her eye as the guilt she'd been pushing down since putting up the house for rent engulfed her chest. Letting out a stifled sob she retreated to her kitchen and began to prep her herbs for the day; pushing all thoughts of 34 Newton Road out of her mind.

5:50AM

The house was restless. Shadows traced the walls, creeping around corners and sat in doorways. Waiting and watching. The minuets ticked by into hours. Cold sunlight poured through the open windows, illuminating the interior with a soft yellow light. A light coverage of dust lay over the floors and worktops, in certain places tracks had been left in the dust and drawings as well as smaller tracks disrupted the worktops. The shadows could sense the presence of new arrivals and in the eerie silence as they waited with a form of hunger crawling at their insides.
A car pulled up outside, the slight screech of the tires abruptly stopping resonated throughout the house. Faces turned towards the front door, looked over the banister into the hall and started out of windows; all in anticipation for the new tenants.
