When you are so emotional you are close to dropping from every rp you are in just so people won't have to deal with you anymore

When a character that meant something to you gets torn down and thrown away like trash... 😢

I am very interested in joining. Is there still room and is there any characters you need? I would like to make both a male Drakken (first time playing one so kind of scared) and a female Gem.
Name: Lyona Stormrider

Age: 23

Race: Human

Class: Warrior

Origin: Avanase

Appearance:

Weapon: Twin Thin Swords

Personality: Lyona is harsh and cold. She takes no crap from anyone, especially men who think she is weaker than them. Once a recruit made a crack about her being a woman in the army. Lyona kicked his ass, not even stopping when he begged for mercy. She left him bleeding and unconscious. Her superior has made several notes about her being too hard on the new recruits, putting the fear of the Goddess in them.
Any questions about her past gets you on her bad list. Of course she doesn't really have a good list so... you're really screwed either way.

Something happened to make her the cold bitch that she is. Beneath the ice is a still broken heart. She is still working through a deep seated anger at something... or someone...

Loyalty: Imperial Army

Rank: Special Operations Instructor

History: Lyona was born in a small village. The rest is not really known until she joined the Imperial Guard and has been working on rising through the ranks. Her particular brand of cruelty has served her lord well, but even she has lines she does not cross. Children are not to be touched and she has described in detail what will happen to the manhood of those soldiers who touch a woman in an immoral way. She is a valuable enough warrior for her superiors to let her have her way in how prisoners are dealt with. She always offers men a choice : swear loyalty to the Imperial Army or die. Women are given the same choice and children are taken to the Capitol to be cared for until they are old enough to make the same decision. She has a very high recruitment rate because of these tactics.

(I hope she is okay. Let me know what I need to change.)
So I have really been drawn to the ocean lately. I tried making a realistic sci-fi underwater rp but it never took off. So I wanted to try again but this time add mermaids and fantasy elements.
My idea is basically like my previous one : an underwater scientific base, but this things start going wrong not because of escaped experiments but because of mermaids and mermen (or maybe shark men idk where this can go but I am very interested in seeing people's creativity) not wanting the base in their world and attacking it, at first subtely sabotaging it but once they get seen by the workers is becomes more of an all out attack.

That is the basic idea but I am open to other suggestions.
@Demonic Angel
As long as she doesn't touch Grace, they will have no problems
@alexfangtalon
I wanted to leave her exact location ambiguous so either group could find her if they wished.

Jessalyn - Spring Land - Raven

Apparently Raven heard the giggling too because she called for whoever it was to show themselves. In fact she called them Nymphs. Jess' mind immediately searched for anything she could remember about Nymphs. Only two things came to mind: minor female nature deity and sex. They were very popular in Greek mythology as concubines to various gods. They were unpredictable, which made them scary and dangerous.

Lysander growled, on guard from the mysterious things he didn't understand and hence didn't like. Since Jessalyn was blind she relied more on her hearing than anything else and, as she had with the being from before, noted a hint of danger behind the childlike singing of the creatures. If she had been able to see them she would no doubt have been taken in by their beauty and not listen carefully to their song, but since she couldn't she paid attention to the words. And the words were enough to make her heart race with fear.

She turned frantically, them spinning in a circle around her disorienting her. She tried to move away but couldn't tell which way to go.
"Raven?" she asked faintly, wondering where her protector had gone. Had she left her here with these creatures?
Then the words changed to the famous Ring Around the Rosie, which Jessalyn had never liked. How could one like a song about children who had died? Where had these creatures learned it?

When one of them wanted her to dance with them Jess's breath caught in her throat. Her mind went to one of her favorite poems Goblin Market:

We must not look at goblin men
We must not buy their fruits,
Who knows upon what soil they fed,
Their hungry thirsty roots...

Her first impulse was to strongly reject the creatures, but she feared angering them. She didn't know where Raven had gone, if she had abandoned her or not. Keeping a tight grip on Lysander, her knuckled white and her heart pounding in her ears, she shook her head, her movements jerky.
"N-no... thank you but... I can't dance," she offered as an excuse, praying the creatures would leave her alone. She felt a tug on Lysander's harness which she jerked the opposite way, away from whichever creature was trying to take it from her. "N-no," she said, still shaky but slightly firmer. "Raven?" she called again, louder.

The small white house was off to the side of the main road. From the outside it looked abandoned : boarded up windows, overgrown yard, cobwebs everywhere... But inside there were two souls that called the little sanctuary home.

Kat gently rocked the baby girl. She had been fed and given a bath, now it was nap time. But, being stubborn like her mother, the baby was refusing to go down without a fight.
"Come on Gracey..." her mother cooed gently. "You're going to make me do it aren't you?"
The baby girl's replied with a whine and reached for her mother's face.
Kat sighed. "Alright then," she agreed and began to sing.

"You are my sunshine,
My only sunshine,
You make me happy when skies are grey,
You'll never know dear,
How much I love you,
Please don't take my sunshine away...

She continued softly, humming when not singing the words to the classic lullaby. It was the only thing that could make Grace sleep.
Eventually the baby girl yawned and laid her head against her mommy's chest, closing her eyes. Kat gently and carefully laid her in the makeshift plan pen she had crafted from safety gates and twine. She made sure Grace had her little pink blanket that she wouldn't sleep without.
Still humming, Kat picked up the shotgun, which now had no ammo but was still an effective intimidation tool, and went to the window to keep watch. A swarm of walkers had passed by during the night, which meant if any survivors were left in their wake they might be headed her way.
If they thought a single mother with a baby would be an easy scavenging target, they had another thing coming...
I'm going to start a post in the house with Kat and baby Grace so if anyone is traveling right now they can come upon the house if they so wish
@Prince of Seraphs thank you for posting. Its was a great read. I always enjoy your posts. I will reply when I get home today.
