I'm sorry I haven't posted guys. Been really sick the past few days and still not feeling well. 102 temperature, sore throat, cough, aches, cold sweats... My mom, a nurse, thinks its bronchitis but I have no money to go to the doctor right now so I'm just trying to wait it out. I'll get to posting as soon as I feel up to it I promise. In the meantime feel free to post around me. If need be @LadyRunic can take limited control of D. Ark in order to break Des and Johnny out of Chitter's world.

The clown was annoying, but one of the few to behave themselves it seemed. D. Ark let off a rueful smile and longsuffering sigh. "Ah, family my friend. It is not an easy concept. Especially when that family fights against each other. We must get along if we wish to continue feeding, but several of the more... excitable members seem to have trouble with that concept. Speaking of which," he added when the boy ran up to them. Fran had done her job it appeared. Perhaps a little too well.

"Blink," D. Ark said firmly. "We are going to discuss your performance this evening. I will not tolerate-""Hey! Are you the guy who owns this shit show?" A beligerent man approached them, looking angry.
D. Ark sighed, mentally counting to ten. "Yes good sir. How may I ass-""I want my money back! What kind of place you running here? I pay for a show I expect to see one! Not only is the snake broad missing but the knife idiot didn't show for his act!"
D. Ark arched an eyebrow. Perhaps Chitter hadn't been the best choice for a babysitter. It appeared some punishments were to be in order. D. Ark smiled a smile that Blink and Smiles knew all too well.
Something BAD was about to happen.

"Of course Mr...?""Abbot," the man answered with a snarl.
"Ah yes Mr. Abbot. I apologize for my employees lackluster performances this evening. Rest assured I will be discussing their further employment later in the evening. Smiles, be a good chap and assist this man in recieving his rightful compensation. I'm afraid I have other business to attend to at the moment."D. Ark knew that his old friend understood what he meant by 'rightful compensation'. There were no refunds in this circus.

Once D. Ark found where Chitter was he would break the deminsonal hold she no doubt had on the others and deal with the aftermath. He knew how to put down people who disobeyed him. Chitter was a force to be reckoned with, but while she was a creature of the night he was a beast of hell itself. Even the being that inhabited her body knew of and feared him. Of all of the people in his 'family' the being was the only one who knew the most about D. Ark's origins and exactly what he was capable of should he be pushed far enough. The others had caught a glimpse of it before during the... incident with the doctor.

Summary

Amalia being reserved while revealing a bit about her upbringing

Amalia was shocked out of her daydreams by Kalani speaking to her. Was the woman actually being... civil? It was a strange change that made Amalia wonder if her sister-bride was a stable person. Why the sudden mood swing? Was she really interested or just looking for more reasons to despise her?

Since she had been asked a direct question Amalia was obligated to reply.
"My father is an Air elemental, my mother Earth. I recieved my father's appearance and my mother's gift," she explained. "My home is... was the Solair Estate along the Emerald Shore. My father's lands stretch along the coast and cliffs and inland towards the Ember Forest."

She was silent for a bit before continuing. "I have three older brothers. My parents kept us separated growing up, not wanting us to become close. Less painful for when I would be taken. They also followed this philosophy," she added. "I was trained by tutors from the time I was small to be a good wife and mother, to be agreeable and modest and kind and above all silent. I forgot myself before but it shall not happen again. I know this... situation, is not something either of you seem very pleased about. I appreciate you saving me from a fate far worse and I shall strive to remain as out of the way as possible."
