I mostly enjoy writing in the Casual section of the guild. Character development and exploring character relationships motivate me. I like to really think myself into my character and their view on others and the world around them which is why I prefer to stick to one character per roleplay. I love world-building but I am also easily overwhelmed with very detailed concepts I haven't been met with before. So you could say I love a decent amount of world-building and prefer original builds. Once everyone has settled, expanding that world and its concept is a great way to create more depth and keep me as a player hooked as I love to discover new things!
My favorite genre is and has always been fantasy. I guess you could say I love escapism to a point where I like to flee the mundane world entirely. I also feel drawn to sci-fi roleplays but I have noticed that those usually intimidate me. I feel like I am not adept at writing about technology and all that sci-fi goodness so I mostly just pine over how awesome some OOCs look and never apply to them.
When it comes to fantasy I feel right at home. For my mind, it is much easier to grasp magical concepts and worlds than sci-fi ones. As a result of this, all the worlds I write up (be it here as a GM or elsewhere) tend to be fantastical in one way or another. I especially enjoy adventure RPs and witch RPs. I like to see new magical systems and am always eager to learn more about the worlds I RP in.
Additionally, all my characters are queer, always. Since I am queer myself and can't imagine playing straight ^^
Although the days of witch hunts are long past us, life isn't roses. While the upcoming election is threatening witches with a potential anti-witch politician claiming the title of president, unrest is stirring in the corners of the world. A rise in threats has been detected - unnatural beings, magical beasts, and other supernatural phenomena pull media attention and feed directly into an anti-witch campaign.
A D&D One-Shot. A group of adventurers is hired to find the missing grandson of a wealthy couple visiting the town. He was taken by a mysterious knight who rode his horse into the deadly woods nearby, taking the young boy with him. But the knight is not a simple man, he is said to be a resurrected ghostly figure forever in search for a squire, kidnapping young boys who never return home.

The Cult of the Dragon has come to Phlan, a lawless refuge on the Moonsea. Now, with no significant authority to stop the cult, other power groups in the Realms – the Harpers, Order of the Gauntlet, Lords' Alliance, and even the Zhentarim – must unite to stop the cult from fulfilling its dark purpose in the city. Meanwhile, Rhana, a drow rogue with a questionable past, and Salissa, a dhampir bard with flair, find themselves somehow involved in this as they tackle different missions aimed at stopping the cult.

I always write my IC posts in gray due to finding the white color pretty straining on the eyes.
Camp Leader Power: Cell Manipolation (includes healing) Age: 29 years Nationality: Latina born in the US
Vayla had always had trouble fitting in. There was just something about her, people seemed to find weird. This making Vayla a loner. She hasn't know anything about her skills until a bird died at her school during flying against the window. It's neck was broken and Vayla held the bird for the whole break. All the students walking by laughed at her and pointed at the girl holding a dead animal. Just as the bell rang announcing the next lesson, the bird awoken and flew away shirping.
From there on all people made even more fun of her. It was an awful time. She thought it was a good thing the bird was back to life. But she had to learn it had a negative effect on her health.
She usually never got a cold, when she got hurt she healed unnaturally fast. But in that night she got her first fever ever.
Learning she got no where to be where people wouldn't point a finger and call her a freak, she left home in the middle of the night to wander around. She was a teenager with no where to go. And as the woman grew up she promised she'd help anyone who had similar problems.
When she found out there were others like her, she planned on a stay for them and it slowly turned out to be a whole camp where the kids could find shelter, friends, education and understanding from others. It was a place she was proud of. It quickly became her life and she puts her whole heart and soul into it.
"I'm fine babe", Jamie said. Seeing Jamie in that armour gave Kahleen a little break from worrying. It may weighted heavy on them both and it pressed the itchy white overall to their skin, but it was a little bit protection. It was a hint of safety.
"Has that guy gone crazy yet? Maybe you should give me that gun and I can put him down." Did her animal-loving, vegetarian girlfriend just suggest to end someone's life? Kahleen didn't get to think about that change in her lovers personality much.
Within the next minute a lot happened. Kahleen wasn't sure how to react to it. A man pointed out that some moron had given away their position and their state of still being alive. Any second there could be a bunch of infected bursting through the door to happily kill or infect them all.
Some survivors had managed to open the door wide enough for them to slip through one by one. Kahleen's first instinct was to flee through the door before anything else could endanger them in this locked up room again.
But someone gave her a second option. Someone who turned out to be yet another army guy had entered the room. He was armed and first thing Kahleen wanted to pull Jamie back.
But she was surprised when she was the one being pulled behind her lover for protection. "Stay behind me, babe. Looks like another one of these fucking soldiers wants a piece!"
She grabbed the woman's hand and squeezed softly. The soldier that entered gave them the option to either go through the door where they'd have to fight through many stages of infected people or climb a rope to reach the 20 feet above walkway and get easily out from there on.
Just as Kahleen thought aboit the option being realistic for her, her girlfriend made the decision. "I can't climb that, is he crazy?" she paused, "Of course he's fucking crazy." Kahleen had to agree that climbing was no option for her either. She wouldn't make it. That's for being lazy in sports class.
She didn't wanna go out there and face the crazy people. She didn't wanna get in danger again. That was enough action for her for a lifetime!
Kahleen looked for another way out, which was obviously silly. They've been in that room for long enough to know there's no other way. Escaping is a matter of time, the crazy could be here any heartbeat. She opened her mouth, not really sure what she was even gonna say. But it didn't matter. Jamie pulled her hand out of her soft grip and marched over to the slowly awakening soldier on the ground. Kahleen wondered if she had sen anything useful to grab or whatnot but instead she kicked him into the balls hard.
Kahleen's jaw dropped, literally. Her mouth hang open. Soft, kind-hearted Jamie has turned furious. Full of anger and hate.
"Yeah fuck you," she said, spitting at him. "I'm done with the Army. You guys can all go with Captain Crunch if you want, but me and Kahleen will take our chances on the other side of that door!"
Kahleen had never seen her girlfriend this furious. And spitting at him was so unlike her. Sure Kahleen felt the same anger towards the army. But she wouldn't spit at them. Not yet anyway.
The blonde turned to Kahleen, "come on, babe, let's get the Hell out of here."
Her head was spinning with information and searching for every logical action. Kahleen felt she had heard something that made her mind ring a bell. The same bell that had rung every time a child in her nursery school had told a lie.
She frowned and spoke up. "Can you even replay the messages sent on a headset? I thought it's just for communication and not recording." She didn't wanna point a finger because in fact she had no idea if they could play already spoken messages. She thought it didn't.
Thinking that this was now not the worse problem, she turned her attention back to Jamie. "If you are sure that's for our best, let's go. All I know is I don't wanna be alone in this war." She felt weak for whispering the next sentence but she needed to say it. "Please don't leave me."
Seeing Jamie take charge of their situation had Kahleen gone weak. She felt like protecting Jamie was a whole lot easier with her being that strong badass girl. And just for a moment it had to be okay for Kahleen to be weak and speak out her fears. The truth was hard but it was the truth. She couldn't survive this alone.
You wake up on a little clearing. It smells like summer breeze, fresh grass and nature. You breathe in the soothing scent of the air, you enjoy the soft breeze in your hair for a moment, then you open your eyes and take in your surrounding.
The grass is beautifully green, there's a tree; you could reach the lowest boughs if you stretchted, apples hang from them. It looks like in a colorful children's book. The apples look so perfectly round and red. You feel a pain in your stomach, it growls. You are hungry... so hungry. And thirsty. Your eyes wander around a little and only a few steps away there's a well.
For the first time now, you actually ask yourself how you got here. What happened? Your head feels normal, there's no headache, except.... The last 24 hours are missing from your memory. You try to remember small things, maybe something triggers your mind. What did you eat for breakfast? ... When did you wake up? ... When did you go to bed the other night?
Nothing seems to trigger your memory. So you try some long-time memories. Your name. Your family. Your history. It's all there. So there's only something wrong with the last 24 hours. That's a good sign, and a bad sign at both. Who brought me here?
In seek for an answer you look further arround. The area is very small and away from it seem to lead four paths into what looks like the beginning of a maze. The walls of the maze are pure nature and dark green. As your eyes concentrate more on the ground, you notice that there are three other people lying on the floor around the tree. Just like you.
I am not the only one. You don't know the others. Your eyes wander up to the blue sky - no ceiling - and you notice a little letter hanging from one of the tree's boughs. It's too high to reach it, you don't even have to try. You know you have to climb to get it.
To begin the game, give away your first post. Hint: Actions do not have to be involved in every post, if you rather your character didn't react.
The moment Evangeline's bus - which he had to take after the long train ride - stopped by the building and she got out, soft white snowflakes started falling. Not a lot, just a few. She wrapped her arms around herself, seeing someone else standing there by the building. Thougth she didn't dare to step closer, out of fear she'd my freeze anything and freak the person out, she kept watching with much interest.
The gloves have helped her conceal the ice powers inside, but now that this was all becoming so real, the gloves began to show frozen patterns of a snowflake. Evangeline looked down at her hands worried. She slowly lifted one finger up and a ray of crystal clear snowflakes blew out of her fingertip. She tripped backwards in shock. Her mouth dropped open astonished. Never has she seen something more beautiful.
Before she would make any harm, she curled her fingers into a ball of a fist and hit them under her arms, basically hugging herself. She couldn't wait for this to begin. She wanted to control her magic more than anything.
13 people are stuck together in one game. One deadly game.
12 Rooms are between them and their freedom. Their life. But one will not make it through the door. In each room another task waits to be solved. Only the bravest, only the smartest will get out.
Do you have the key?
The group of 13 gets eliminated slowly... 12 people 11 rooms.... 9 people 8 rooms... 2 people 1 room...
Will you be the one going through the door? Or will you die?
