I mostly enjoy writing in the Casual section of the guild. Character development and exploring character relationships motivate me. I like to really think myself into my character and their view on others and the world around them which is why I prefer to stick to one character per roleplay. I love world-building but I am also easily overwhelmed with very detailed concepts I haven't been met with before. So you could say I love a decent amount of world-building and prefer original builds. Once everyone has settled, expanding that world and its concept is a great way to create more depth and keep me as a player hooked as I love to discover new things!
My favorite genre is and has always been fantasy. I guess you could say I love escapism to a point where I like to flee the mundane world entirely. I also feel drawn to sci-fi roleplays but I have noticed that those usually intimidate me. I feel like I am not adept at writing about technology and all that sci-fi goodness so I mostly just pine over how awesome some OOCs look and never apply to them.
When it comes to fantasy I feel right at home. For my mind, it is much easier to grasp magical concepts and worlds than sci-fi ones. As a result of this, all the worlds I write up (be it here as a GM or elsewhere) tend to be fantastical in one way or another. I especially enjoy adventure RPs and witch RPs. I like to see new magical systems and am always eager to learn more about the worlds I RP in.
Additionally, all my characters are queer, always. Since I am queer myself and can't imagine playing straight ^^

While the upcoming election is threatening witches with a potential anti-witch politician claiming the title of president, unrest is stirring in the corners of the world. A rise in threats has been detected - unnatural beings, magical beasts, and other supernatural phenomena pull media attention and feed directly into an anti-witch campaign.
A D&D One-Shot. A group of adventurers is hired to find the missing grandson of a wealthy couple visiting the town. He was taken by a mysterious knight who rode his horse into the deadly woods nearby, taking the young boy with him. But the knight is not a simple man, he is said to be a resurrected ghostly figure forever in search for a squire, kidnapping young boys who never return home.

The Cult of the Dragon has come to Phlan, a lawless refuge on the Moonsea. Now, with no significant authority to stop the cult, other power groups in the Realms – the Harpers, Order of the Gauntlet, Lords' Alliance, and even the Zhentarim – must unite to stop the cult from fulfilling its dark purpose in the city. Meanwhile, Rhana, a drow rogue with a questionable past, and Salissa, a dhampir bard with flair, find themselves somehow involved in this as they tackle different missions aimed at stopping the cult.

I always write my IC posts in gray due to finding the white color pretty straining on the eyes.
There's a long span of silence and you wonder if you lost connection. But then... "I... I don't know. My radar is done. GPS is done. Shit, everything but this stupid radio is done. I am stuck." The voice fades. Clearly it's hard for the girl on the other end to speak. "My leg is stuck and I am losing blood. I need help." You hear some high pitched noises come from the other end. "Fuck." The girl on the other end seems to do something from the sounds of it. Then she's back. "I am hanging half way over a cliff or something. I don't know how deep it goes or what's beneath it. But the shuttle is slowly moving down, it's only held by some unlucky trees I've basically cut off on my way down and a huge damn rock."

@WhiteStar19 or we could have them grow up as normal kids in the normal world and a curse has blocked their magic from being expressed. Then with a little Once Upon A Time drama and whatnot they find out their magics have been taken and they need to gain them back for safety reasons. (maybe there's a OUAT alike problem approaching them.) With that we wouldn't have mind loss, no backstory problems and a total new world to open up I would also add that those without powers (Rapunzel, Anna, Cinderella, ect) get to choose one power that fits their characters. If they want to.
Charlyn grinned big as the girl responded with big eyes. It seems she didn't know much about Hogwarts. Charlie was happy to help out with information since that has been her favorite topic ever since age three.
"It's awesome to meet you all." She couldn't stop grinning. Finally! Friends. "I didn't meet any others on the train. I've been alone the whole ride. Apart from Rascal, my owl. And speaking of owls, the tower is open for everyone to enter. But your owls can also fly by to visit you at your room - that's if you are not in Slytherin, because the Slytherin house is positioned directly beneath the lake and I don't think your owl can dive down and bring you a wet letter. Sometimes you can see the huge octopus swim by. Man that's so cool. I only heard from it though. Oh and your owl brings your morning mails when you're sitting at the big tables in the big hall. Tons of flying owl will appear and drop the thing on your plate! My father says the ceiling of the hall looks like the sky outside. I can't wait to meet the teachers. As from what Hagrid told me, we're gonna have tons of fun all seven years!"
Just then Charlyn realised she's been rambling on with no stop and didn't even introduce herself. "I am Charlyn Avalon. But you can call me Charlie."
Harepaw slowly approached Boulderstar. She was aware of his mentor overhearing their conversation, just as she was aware of the look the apprentice shoot his mentor. Once he reached her, she meowed to him. "Good morning, Harepaw." She felt the darting eyes of his mentor on her. Obviously SCreefoot was curious what the leader had to say.
"I noticed you are a little unmotivated today." Everyday would be right, but Boulderstar didn't say that. "I was thinking you might feel a little underrated. I have an important duty for you to take." Boulderstar lifted her head up to show her higher rank a little. "Me and my deputy are going to check the western borders and I want you to accompany us." She left the offer hanging for a second, before she added the last sentence. "Only if you feel prepared, though. You're not afraid, are you?"
Boulderstar felt like the apprentice needed a lesson to be taught, but scolting wouldn't work on this cat. She knew Harepaw had potential and she was not gonna let it go to waste. Her deputy has been politely silent all this time. But Boulderstar wouldn't mind his words in this conversation.
