Origin:
-Wayde wilson became deadpool after being in the weapons X program. In this version though, he never got cancer and he never met his girlfriend. I recommend reading the backstory first.
Wayde didn't even encompass any type of heart or vigilante persona until after the weapons x program. In the program he was a specialty soldier along side a few others. Some of whom were mutants. These mutants seemed to inspire one of doctors to try something new. They saved some blood and serums from some of the members and decided to start creating their own mutants. During this time The weapons X program was being used less and less until it was disbanded. The other members left, but Wayde was held back. Basically convincing him that they could make him better. They created a fake cancer situation so that he would go along with it.
They then began their testing. Injecting Wayde with multiple doses of mutant blood and serum then experimenting on him. Same with the others trapped there as well. The original doctor had gathered others to help creating a whole underground secret lab, having multiple 'patients' and seeing how they could create their own superhuman creations. With the idea to secretly sell these people to the highest bidders. Being the twisted individuals they were they would bet on which patient would die and which ones would survive calling it their deadpool.
Wayde managed to escape after becoming a human mutant and eventually became the mercenary for hire that avoids being apart of any team, but helps if they really need it. Often being seen bothering the X-men and other groups without actually being a part of any team. He is the extreme wild card in red. He still does hit man for hire type jobs, but finds he enjoys bothering the superheroes.
Background history:
-Wayde was born to a normal family in a normal place with normal jobs, nothing significant there. He was smart, but not genius level, did okay in school, graduated at a normal time etc. He joined the military where they saw his extreme abilities with katanas. With what seemed to be super human reflexes allowing him to be able to slice through bullets and react to similar situations to others with extreme ease. Seeing this, he was put into a specialty program of the weapons X, where the kept him fine for awhile sending him and a group of others to do specialty missions. Things were going fine, until one of the doctors decided to take advantage of some of the mutant testing happening. The weapons X program was disbanded after awhile, however Wayde never went home. They managed to keep him..where they proceeded to mutate him. He became a mutant human due to this testing, but managed to escape. Luckily he managed to do so before he went too crazy from testing and tried to fit in. He became a hitman for hire being extremely efficient. Finding this as his calling he would go from place to place taking care of various jobs. Eventually he realized he should become a little bit more and developed himself as Deadpool. The name coming from the labs where they would bet on which patient would die.
