History:
His history is a rather sad one. He was born to parents with a similar mutation to his own. Meaning at one point, he was happy. He was a typical young child with green eyes and dusty blonde hair and a bright smile that seemed constant on his face. He always saw the positive side of things even when he was made fun of at school. Of course, he wondered why he was bullied. Why he was considered different. After all, he looked just like his peers (at the time) and was able to do all the same things, but they still picked on him. He was smaller then average, and to add on that his parents, while normal seeming, were considered odd. He loved his parents to no end so when they were killed he changed.

At the young age of 8, Loki found himself waking up to a fire. Panicked he tried to get to his parents, tried to get out of his room, but the flames were already consuming that part of their home. In order to escape, he shifted. In a panther cub form, he escaped the building by leaping into a tree and onto the ground. This was far to early for him and caused permanent changes, not only in his personality, but in his appearance. He ended up in foster care until the age of 18 when he was kicked out to be on his own. He heard of the institute, and has just recently decided to try it out.[/u][/b]

Appearance:

Loki is no longer small at 6 foot 2 and a buff build. His hair is a raven black with his eyes being a rather unnerving gold and more panther like then human. He has longer then normal canines and a glower that seems permanent on his handsome face. He is hardly ever seen in any form of color, preferring black which actually looks good on his slightly tanned skin. He also hardly seen in any form of formal wear, preferring t shirts and jeans. The last staple of his attire is black steel toe boots.

Powers:

Shapeshifting (animals):
Loki can turn into animals. Interestingly enough, he can only shift into carnivores. This could be due to him shifting before he was old enough to be able to fully handle it and the choice of his first shift. Anything he does transform into is melanistic and has his eyes, which can lead to some uncomfortable combinations.
Due to his ability, he is stronger then average. This is due to having the strength of his main animal form: the panther.

Loki is rather sarcastic and cynical. He is not one to lie even when the truth might hurt. However, if one was to get past those prickles of his, he can be sweet to someone he cares for. It would take a lot.
