Like Luffy, she wants to find One Piece, but she has a goal in doing so beyond becoming Pirate King. This is important to her, so she does look for people who she feels have the strength/skill to make the journey.

This doesn't necessarily mean they're superhuman monsters like her, but they would at least be very clever and wily like Ussop.

@PrewigaI'm a bit confused, is he a great chef or not? Thing is, my character has pretty high standards, as she IS out to find One Piece. She wouldn't accept just mediocre. Otherwise he sounds fine.

This goes for everyone, by the way. You don't have to be timid and hold back. This is our character's generation, and we're the stars of this "show". So don't be afraid to make them extremely good at the thing they're good at. :)

@PrewigaEh, I don't know. People throw out a lot of ideas without considering how they're going to fit into the crew or in what ways they'll be useful. We have so many slots still open, but so far only the Shipwright and Doctor have been claimed. I would just like people to take it easy on the really weird concepts until we get all the important positions filled.

Important position we still NEED: Cook.

If you're deadset on making a very odd character, then don't feel rushed. We wouldn't be meeting them until Paradise anyhow.

Oh, I did forget we had an archeologist, he just didn't post his profile in here yet.

@ZapdosOkay, I don't have any real problems with your character sheet, so you're approved. Though I am curious as to why he-a man who is motivated primarily to help people-chose to become a pirate as his first instinct. Piracy isn't the go-to profession for helping people, after all. XD

One of Oda's earliest characters also had one of my very favorite names: "Gill Bastar", derived from "Kill Bastard".
