One Piece: Setting Sail

Okay, so you'll notice this has weird tags going on in it, that's because this is meant to be a prologue to a bigger RP. So I'm looking for someone who's interested in One Piece and would like to run in a group RP. The reason this is in 1x1 is because I intend to run character introduction arcs individually.

I'm also doing this because I want to continue on with this sort of plot, but the person I was doing it with is being slow in spite of my pushing him IRL.

Nikolai was rubbing his eyes as he came up from the lower decks. 'What the hell was she thinking?' He thought to himself as he approached the two who had come begging for help, one a grown man and the other a young girl of no more than eight.

"Mr. Navy captain!" The young girl pleaded. "You have to help! The pirates took my mommy, and..."

The man placed a hand over the girl's mouth. "Sir, please... A couple weeks ago a group of pirates came to our village and took over... They destroyed any way we had to communicate with the outside world. They've taken all our food, our homes, our livelihoods... My wife..." He looked at the teary eyed girl. "Please, sir... We had to sneak out on a rowboat by the dead of night. The Navy can-"

"WE'RE NOT THE NAVY, DAMMIT!" Nikolai roared, his body shaking with irritation as he turned around. "Shit... this id exactly what I didn't want to happen..." He turned back. "We're pirates too."

"Please, just save my mommy!" The girl cried out.

The Innocent Berserker (M seeking F, 18+, Combat-heavy)

Alright, I've got a bit of an idea, so bear with me for a bit.

I'm looking at a story where a mage is trying to take over the world or something other, and he has a young and naive servant girl. The idea is he's using his magic to twist her innocence, turning her to a powerful fighter, though she's not conscious of it, or is only barely aware. Please, when you PM, tell me you didn't read the paragraph before getting into the meat of things. The setting itself is variable, as well as possible additional themes, so I'm willing to discuss it.

So yeah, that's my idea. If you're interested, PM me. Looking at being somewhere casual. May trail into advanced, depending, but yeah.

"Yeah, yeah," Nikolai said with a yawn as he made his way to the crew quarters. Thankfully, he was intimately familiar with the workings and arrangements of a navy vessel. He ended up falling asleep fairly quickly.

It seemed as if the night would be completely tranquil. The seas were calm and not a single ship approached them. It wasn't until the merest glints of the sun came over the horizon that anything happened.

"Help!" A pair of voices called from the port side of the ship. "You're the navy, right? Please, help us!"
