Personality:jack tends to me rather neutral or calm,but he opens up more around people he cares for,when they are hurt or upset,jack is there for them no matter what

Appearance:black clothes,white hooded shirt unzipped over black shirt,occasionally wears hood,white shoes
Power:umbrakinesis:the ability to manipulate the darkness(will go into further detail)

Bio:when he was ten jack lived a good life,best friends ever,good grades,you name it,but one day when he was at school,there was a shooting.Someone broke in to the school(that's a thing right?)and starting popping holes in everyone,jack was with his friend Sarah when they tried to get away from the shooter,but the shooter saw Sarah just as they darted across a corner,the attacker tried to land a shot at her head but instead shot jack in the leg,he didn't want Sarah to get hurt so he said for her to not worry about him and just get out of here,after Sarah had left,jack was at the edge of death until...the shadow awoke,jacks arms became solid black and he grew 4 inch long claws,then his entire body became engulfed in a shadow,his head soon was a swirling mass of blackness and his eyes were blood red,as the attacker saw this he backed away thinking the boy was a demon in human form,without mercy,"jack" ripped the attacker apart until he resembled a piece of paper through a shredder,twice.After a moment or two the shadow "ran back into hiding"and jack was normal,he then ran to look for Sarah,when he found her she was terrified.She had never seen something so nightmarish before and then she asked jack what that was,he told Sarah:"that's the thing I told you about,my powers"
A week later when his family discovered this "gift"of his,they wanted nothing more to do with him,so they left him for dead and...two years later to this day,he still wanders the world as a loner,until the day he found out about a strange place known as a supernatural orphanage...the rest is obvious

Jacks power:his power is like a second heart,it's part of him and it is him,they are one and the same,he can absorb shadows and use them as a weapon,and construct armor
When he is in severe danger(when his life is on the line)his power"comes to life"and protects him,so long as there are shadows,if needed,jacks own shadow is used,and then there is a monster inside him that jack calls the shadow

THE SHADOW:imagine a nightmarish form of jack with a heart literally made of darkness,with blood red eyes and razor claws,this beast is a final defense that triggers itself,how ever it is very,very,very unlikely that the shadow will wake from its sleep,

Limits:jack can only command the darkness when there's a shadow to do it with,his own shadow is weaker when he uses it

Doing things such as making armor out of the shadows would eventually exhaust jack to a point where all that he could do is fire off shots of dense shadows(as a way of attacking)

When the shadow"wakes up"it uses jacks power beyond it limit,meaning that when(and if)the shadow"falls asleep"jack will be worn out to the brink of a coma or even fall into a deep sleep

Other:the chances of the shadow"waking up"is less than winning the lottery three times in a row during a planetary alignment,he/it might only show up once if even at all in this rp
If jack has been enraged to a certain point,a sliver of the shadows power will open up,(70 times the chance of shadow waking up)

Thanks,first chance I get,I'm getting a firecat(when it comes up in rp that i can)
And I'm able to stay active for about at least a month or two as far as I know,that may change when school starts up again
