thats the point of keeping him caged:so the others arent torn apart,im not saying im gonna let him loose,this is all just detail,i wanted to explain what he was,or when jack IS powerful enough,he could control it(if thats ok)
katherin,the shadow is part of jack,if one dies than part of the other does as well.it would be like ripping someones soul in half,but sometimes the shadow tries and escapes;as long as jack dosent lose his cool and his anger dosent get to him:the shadow will stay caged,for example:suppose max was killed right before jacks eyes,he would be powerless to stop the shadow from "waking up".also jack could use the shadow to his advantage:he could replace his arm with the shadows arm and not go into a frenzy,if your still confused tell me :3
in case your curious,jacks right eye is screwed up because of hia power,and some times the shadow tries to escape,thats why jack fainted and his eye changed:the shadow tried to take over,but failed
jack felt ok by now so when the mute girl came by he said"need a volinteer?ill help"summoned a shadow sheild incase her power would be something like a bullet"so what power is it?"he asked not knowing the girl had no voice
