We'll paint the scene, we'll write the melody. We are the creators.

Bio

I'm Bobert, I like to roleplay, and I wouldn't be here otherwise. I enjoy creating unconventional characters, as I like to explore the different ways they might interact with others. Automatons are a favorite, 'beep bop' goes the robot.

If you're still reading this, that's cool. Hope you have a nice day

Yay!

So I got a new job, and I might be starting some time next week. The hours seem pretty consistent, so it shouldn't affect my time on here too much, but I will have less time than before. Just thought I'd share so my sudden exhaustion in the coming 1st week or 2 isn't a surprise.
[Calieo]

Calieo listened careful to what explanations had been given, though the way she stomped around and kicked at the earth beneath her suggested she was ignoring what Chambala and Rebecca had to say. She found the simplicity of grass to be somewhat endearing; it was like fur for the earth, and she wondered if it helped to keep the land warm. Chambala spoke of something to be wary of, biting things that may live in the grass, and as if to challenge whatever they may be Calieo hopped around to try and flatten a patch of green.

The novelty of the grass soon gone, Calieo returned her attention behind her and the display of flames encircling Denise immediately caught her eye. A smile broke out across her face, a mix of wonder and pleasure that the dancing lights invoked within her. Naturally her attention was then drawn lower, and she met the eyes of Denise's mount for a brief moment. Unsure what the blank faced being was thinking, Calieo snorted assertively before turning away from everyone to better observe the valley ahead.

"Onward then! The guise of day lasts only so long," she announced, raising her shielded arm towards the other end of the valley. She'd only taken a few steps before her foot caught on something, and ungracefully she fell forward and slammed into the ground. As she fell her foot wrenched free the thing that had tripped her; a rusted knight's helm half buried in the dirt, the object flung behind her by her flailing legs. The grass that contacted the ball of her weapon left behind only smoke, no flames catching as anything to burn was incinerated the second it brushed past the caged ball of light.

"SNAKE!" she screamed, flailing about on the ground to quickly push herself up. On her feet again she whirled around and kicked at the grass around her in blind frustration, confusion evident on her face. She hadn't seen where the helmet had flown, and couldn't see it now as the grass hid it once again, so she made an effort to calm herself once aware that her companions were likely watching. Clearly still a little flustered, she cleared her throat and let out a decompressing huff.

"Onward," she declared again, less triumphant sounding this time as she started walking again, and now paying attention to her feet rather than where she was going.
@Rabidporcupine

Well, Veronica just accused him of being a con artist of sorts. Tirñea would be giving him the stink eye while making a point of keeping her mouth shut. To give some context Tirñea has kept her familiar a secret for the time being, so Veronica has no idea what Sage is talking about, and Tirñea is pretending she doesn't either.

I'm not telling you what to write but as I see it Sage could push the subject which has already made both ladies uncomfortable, or he could drop the subject for now and maybe go with his original need to speak with them; finding a butcher as I recall? Or whatever other reaction comes to mind for you- when I get stuck on a response I try to think of it as a real scenerio. You can't just not react if it's happening in real life, even if that reaction is to be confused and unsure.

Again I could write a 2 sentence post for Tirñea but she wouldn't say or do anything different so it's just not worth it. Right now she's got knots in her stomach because a total stranger has somehow assumed the secret she's been keeping.
@Rabidporcupine

I can post as Tirnea again to be 'in turn' but it'd be barely a sentence or two, so it can be your turn if you want it
@rivaan Don't be sorry, it's fine XP. Thank you though :)
@lavulman For sure in Twilight Fields. As for the group near Falke, we moved to a new area/time jumped a little so the order people post in isn't as important. Technically it's @rivaan turn, so we can wait to hear from them?

So for sure Twilight Fields. If you wanted to you can post for Rebecca, but don't need to.
Definitely interesting. Sort of in the same boat as lavulman though since I'm not sure how much free time I'll have in the near future. Let it be known that I show support though XP
Update

I did some work on the front page during the lull and because I had the free time. Gave a second pass on a lot of things but most of the changes are to the 'Creatures, Monsters, and Beasts' tab. Figured a few of the more unique things could use better descriptions, especially the section on Nethergate.

While I was at it I wrote a better description for Sierpe in Tirñea's app. He still hasn't made an appearance but I realized the one I gave was a tad plain.

*rubs paddles together* CLEAR! *ZZZZZZZZZZTT*
Eyyyy the site is back for the time being. I'll just repeat what it says on the front page and remind people to save what they write before trying to post so it isn't lost to oblivion :P
