Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

I swore I did give Veritaru directions. He at least told her were the potion shop she was looking for was. Twice.
Somewhere many miles away from where an alicorn and a Pegasus stood on a muddy but drying road, General Lighting Dust was given a letter. Angry and confused by recent events that had resulted in her cloud bed vanishing from underneath her while she was taking a brief nap in her office, all the letter did was clear up some of the confusion. Without a word and with a glare that could have caused the letter to burst into flames, General Dust sped off to have a word with the head of house Earthborn.

Torrential offered Star Dancer a small look; As if he was considering how to word his response correctly so that she would understand it. "What I wish to happen is for the one who ordered my attempted assassination to offer me a public apology and for me to be granted to wander the lands controlled by the Earthborn as freely as any other citizen. When those conditions are met, I shall end my drought happily and hopefully the only effects of this whole situation will be a few Pegasuses being awoken from their naps. What I expect to happen is for stubborn pride and an unwillingness to bow or admit to being wrong to a 'horned one' to cause this to drag on for the long haul; The growing death toll when the farm lands starts to bake and the water supplies run dry being what finally humbles them. I sent them a message that will ensure that they get my terms and the fact that they can end this at any time means that whatever happens after this point is on their heads, not mine."

Spying the approching figure on the road they were traveling, Torrential decided to wait for them to arrive in order to speak with them and see where they were heading. Having another traveling companion for a time would be quite enjoyable after all. "If ponies don't want to be ruled by alicorns and instead rule themselves, all power to them. I always felt that Celestia meddled in the affairs of ponies far to much and considering how things have gone since since she vanished I feel justified in saying I was correct. But heavy weighs the crown; To be in charge means that you represent not just yourself, but everyone who serves under your flag. For better or worse, the actions of one can affect the many. Besides, treating other ponies with mutual respect is a lesson that seems to have been forgotten since I was last here."

Keeping the approaching pony in his sight, Torrential would wait until they were relatively close before raising his hoof in a wave. "Greetings! What way are you heading?"
Magus has explained why he isn't out looking for people. And honestly Frore has enough things to worry about already without throwing 'Looking for people' on top of it.
Physically, Magus didn't seem to react to the world around him. For all intents and purposes he might as well have been a corpse hidden under black robes for all the care he offered the world around him.

Internally, he was rather overcome with curiosity.

Since the moment he had taken his seat, Magus had been assaulted with a feeling of dread... of not belonging or being welcome here... It was a feeling he was very used to, since this world was not his own nor was he welcome in it. But as he seemed to adept to the stronger than normal feelings of not belonging, he couldn't help but ponder why he felt these feelings in the shadow of what he was told was the Shadow Temple of Hyrule.

As a being of shadow and darkness himself, Magus suspected that what he got was merely a slap on the wrist compered to what the standard light dwelling must have felt when coming to this place... but why did it lash out at him at all? Light and Darkness were not inherently good or evil. In fact, out of the two Darkness tended to be the more welcoming and peaceful since it embraced all equally while the Light judged and either chased away or burned what it deemed unworthy to bask in its glow.

So why would a place dedicated to Shadows be so actively hostile to all who came towards it?

Too many possibilities, not enough information to narrow it down.
That's right ladies and gentleman; Earthborn doesn't want to play with Torrential? Fine. He is taking his ball and going home until they apologize for being rude dicks about it.
Torrential smiled at Star as he continued to breath deeply, his breath coming back to him as the minutes started to pass and his strength began to return. He didn't answer her until his breath was back at the very least. "I am fine. I rarely cast feel the need to cast that spell and I've certainly never made it so big before. Admittingly it still isn't big enough to cover all the Earthborn lands but if I made it bigger it would simply overlap with those who have boarders with Earthborn to a much larger degree than is acceptable. Still, it should be enough to make my point loud and clear."

Pointing in the direction that the spell had zoomed off in, Torrential couldn't help but grin a little stupidly as he announced "You might want to start looking that way, otherwise you might miss the awesome part of all thing."

.........................................................................

The small ball of magical energy soared through the sky like a missile. While some Pegasuses might have been faster than it over a short distance, none had been in the skies that the spell was traveling through. After traveling a far amount of distance, something seemed to hit zero and the ball exploded outwards in a massive ring of orange light that expanded outwards at high speeds. Where the ring passed, clouds above and below regardless of size simply ceased to exist.

As it continued to grow outwards, it started to pass over populated areas in a massive light show. Apart from some chaos caused by the odd cloud house ceasing to exist and the non cloud contents of the building plummeting to the ground below, the spell didn't seem to cause any harm to anything that wasn't a cloud.

For hundreds of miles the light show continued, appearing on the horizon from where Torrential and Star Dancer were set on the road and flying overhead within less than a minute, continuing towards the opposite horizon like an unstoppable wave.

As the sky was purged of clouds and a perfectly clear sunny sky was left in the wake of the slowly fading orange ring of magic, Star Dancer would get a strange feeling in her gut; The instincts passed down by her ancestors picking up on the wrongness that had been left behind by the spell.

Torrential took one last deep breath as he reached over to reclaim his hat, putting it back on his head. "No cloud will form or pass over Earthborn lands until my terms are met."
You know what would be an awesome template to create a cult of laughter character around?

Carl.

Yikes... I might just withdraw from this Rp for the time being. A lot has happened and I'm not only completely out of the loop, but I find myself with no time to catch up and post something...

Maybe Manus will return when I have the time to do so.
... And what, pray tell, makes you think that Torrential is going to blow up a town?
*Doesn't say anything. Just sits there with a knowing smirk on his face.*
