Current Sorry for my lack of posts lately. I've just... been struggling to get the energy to write something up. I'm trying some new meds through so hopefully that will change soon.

Sorry about my delay in posting again.

I've sort of been under the weather for about a week now and I'm finding it hard to put a response together. I'll get one up as soon as I can, alright?
Sorry I haven't posted anything for a while. I'm currently waiting for our Goddess of War to post what her Stormwing minions near the lake are going to do first.
Failing to get a response from the man he had been speaking to after a couple of moments of awkward silence, Thule decided to do the sane thing and cut his loses before moving onto check up and help out the next person nearby... a blond woman wearing the shortest pair of short shorts he had ever seen. The smile that graced his face came naturally; She had a nice pair of legs on her.

..........................................................

After a few introductions, helping some people up and learning that no one seemed to have a clue as to what was going on, Thule noticed that people seemed to be gathering together into groups to pool and share their ignorance. Looking around for those who were doing basically what he was doing and taking on leadership roles, he quickly found a group that was promising. Arriving just as one of the group members introduced herself as 'Alice', Thule cleared his throat as he entered the conversation. "It's a pleasure to meet you Alice. My name is Thule. Have we started to organize a plan of action in relation to our situation or are we still trying to get a basic idea of what skills, supplies and equipment that we have to work with?"

"Personally, I instruct people on how to survive in the wilderness for a living. I will be the first to admit that my teachings are more aimed towards the individual or small groups of people lost in the wild rather then a group as large as this one but it's better then nothing."
*Pats Star Dancer and Snow Tail* Well, you didn't make yourselves targets by screaming like fillies. That's a good start.
And thus shit is about to get real in Ponyville.

There is reason to my madness. But you'll see what it is soon enough.
Something was wrong.

Even as he focused on the task of purifying the waters of Ponyville, Torrential could feel that something was off about the situation. The waters weren't being cleansed as quickly as they should have been, nor as easily as they should have been either. He felt like his cleaning magic was pushing against something solid... and it was trying to push back. The only reason that could be was if something was fighting him...

Something landed on his back before something pink covered his eyes. In the span of a heartbeat his wings had flared up as he threw whatever was on his back clear off of him. He watched like a hawk as a ball of pink committed itself to performing an Axel before touching down on the water like a figure skater on ice. skating along for a little bit before pulling itself to a complete stop, reveling a pink smiling pony wearing what appeared to be a homemade but somewhat worn jester outfit. It was only when the figure stopped moving that it was possible to see the signs of decay that wouldn't be present in a living creature; The lip-less smile that was only made worse by the black void that were her eyes.

"Well if it isn't the meany pants Alicorn who beat up all of beautiful dollies. All they wanted to was spread love and happiness to the ponies and the big fuzzy buffalos that wandered around where Applejack and her family lives now and you had to go and break them into itty bitty pieces that will take [b/] Forever [b] to clean up and replace. It's wasn't their fault that they were unaware that they were all pointy and spiky like porcupine or a hedgehog... Only porcupines and hedgehogs aren't really as fast as my dollies are... well, expect for one hedgehog that can move really fast but he hates water because he can't swim so I don't think he really counts. Now that I think about it, unicorn horns are really sharp and pointy as well. Angle one of those suckers the right way and you can take someponies eye out with them. Maybe that's why Applejack cuts off unicorn horns wherever she finds them? Somepony accidental must have jabbed her eye out and she's just taking steps to make sure no one gets their eye jabbed out anymore..."

It was rather... weird watching an undead pony ramble on and on, her hoof on her chin as she kept remembering things that merely prolonged the rant. After the conversation had gone from spiky things to wondering what 'Spike' was up to these days (Whomever or whatever that might be) Torrential let out a loud cough in order to try and get the foul creature to focus a little.

Turning her attention back to the alicorn in front of her, the undead mare seemed to break out of her rant as she remembered that she wasn't alone. "Whoopees daisies. Where was I again... Spike, unicorn horns, hedgehogs, porcupines, my dolls... Ah right! You're the meany pants that broke a bunch of my dollies. And now you've rocked up at my home warming party uninvited and started to trash the place." The smile that had been on the mare's lip-less face turned into a very anger glare. "Not only are you a meany pants, you're a Party Crasher. Only one way to deal with a meany pants Party Crasher."

The water of the lake started to churn as ghost after giggling ghost burst out of the water, a swarm of the damn things quickly taking shape above the head of the pink mare, laughing and playing tag with each other as they awaited the signal to charge. In a couple of places along the shore, bodies that belonged to ponies decades dead started to raise from the water, bones showing in the places that water had soaked off flesh and muscle as they carried bows that had clearly not aged well under water. Even as these undead archers started to form up, those who still had tails and manes were sacrificing them in order to provide their bows with fresh string since the old ones had rotted away in the water over the years. Two of them had set themselves up near Snow Tail and Star Dancer, seemingly ignoring them as they primed their old and worn weapons so they could hopefully have a chance of firing an arrow far enough to hit their target on the water. Five more were setting up position elsewhere, completely unaware that there were Stormwing ponies nearby.
Sorry, Double Post. Please ignore/delete this when possible.
Good to have you back Grimdark.

And hopefully my last post should clear up just what is going through Torrential's head at the moment.
After a few minutes and with great effort on his part, Torrential forced himself to stop cursing and calm down.

It was still very clear that he wasn't at all happy about the situation in the slightest and his breathing was very heavy, but his gaze hardened as he glared at the befouled waters before him. Turning his head a little towards the two mares behind him, one bowing in the marshy filth of the ground they stood on while the other was frozen in fear, Torrential softened a little as he reprimanded himself for causing his two companions undue fear and stress. There was one lesson that needed to be taught here... could only be taught here. One that Celestia had foolish tried to deny and purge from the mortal world during the reign of her 'immortal' empire; The result of which he suspected was a chief factor into how badly the situation fell apart when she vanished without warning.

"The world changes. What is considered fact today will be proven wrong tomorrow, the tyrant that ruled with an iron hoof will grow old and die and somewhere up in the mountains a boulder shifts position and a river is diverted miles away from the riverbed that had been its home for hundreds of years. Twenty years ago, Ponyville was flooded. It's hard to say if the war started because of the destruction of Ponyville or if it was destroyed because of the war, but either way innocent ponies died as the town was engulfed by water. No matter how one feels about it in hindsight, it happened and there is no force in existence that can or would change it. What happens stays happened. Maybe it isn't a fair system for those who get crushed in the gears, but it is the only one that works."

"I am not upset because Ponyville was destroyed. It happened two decades ago and nothing will change that so why bother? Nor am I upset with those who committed the act. War makes us do terrible things that seem important at the time but in hindsight were little more then meaningless tragedies. I'm upset because in the short sighted desire to wipe a town of ponies off the map, those who made this happen attempted to ensure that nothing would grow here ever again while leaving only a blighted, poisonous swamp in their wake."

"Where there is death, there is always rebirth." Turning his head back towards the befouled waters that marked the location that Ponyville once stood, Torrential nodded his head as he came to a decision. "Ladies, I suggest you find a good place nearby to set up camp. This is going to take a while."

Without looking back, Torrential started to walk towards the water... and then started to walk on it as if it was solid ground. He walked out a fair distance onto the surface of the foul lake before closing his eyes. When they opened again, his eyes glowed pure white. The water beneath his hooves started to glow the same white as his eyes, a cloud of pure, glowing white that was spreading out like ink being dropped into water and steadily growing by the minute. This wasn't as quick or simple as making a glass of water pure and safe for drinking, but the only real differences were in scale and time; Neither of which were really an issue for the Ailcorn of Floods.
Torrential didn't join in on the conversation about the past and how much better it had been when compared to the present. It wasn't that he was trying to be rude or anything of the sort; It was just as an immortal being and having been as such since before the concept of mortals was thought up, all of his live could be considered an endless 'things change' montage. Sometimes things changed for the better, sometimes for the worst. But always they changed for that is the way of them. It tended to depress those with shorter lifespans whenever he tried to explain it, so thus he stopped trying.

Instead, he tried to brighten the mood a little by turning to look at Snow Tail, shifting his free wing a little to try and draw attention to it as he simply stated "If you feel like getting of my back at anytime, just say so alright? I haven't had the pleasure of having a beautiful mare under both my wings since... since..." Torrential came to a stop as he suddenly found himself in deep thought as he tired to recall the last time in his life that he had two beautiful mares under his wings. After a few seconds, a look of surprised amusement crossed his face. "Huh. Now that I think about it, I've never had the opportunity to have two beautiful mares under my wings." Shrugging a little, he continued onwards.

Paying attention to what was no doubt going to be the fallout of his statement, Torrential narrowed his eyes a little as he started to sniff the air. The smile had vanished as the scent of stagnate water and decaying wood started to fill the air. It made him continue onwards with much more determination then before, anger in his eyes as he removed his wing from Star Dancer and possible Snow Tail (If she decided to remain on his back, he would politely shake her off instead) before stamping forwards at speed, simply mattering "They wouldn't..." in his wake.

Torrential's arrival at the water's edge of the swamp that had once been Ponyville was heralded by a number of very loud words that only a hoof full of mortals would understand the exact translation of... but still gave off the general impression that there were ponies out there that had better be watching the hell out. When Torrential started speaking in a tongue that those on this plane of existence could understand again, he continued to rage and curse at the 'feather brained morons' who had screwed up and left a damn swamp in their wake. Swamp wasn't exactly the correct word to be using to describe the stagnate, cloudy and clearly deceased waters that had twenty years prior been the end of Ponyville and was currently its tomb, but it was the closest word the pony tongue really had for such a mess.
