Powers: Lightning-based powers that can be channeled through his bo-staff or other weapons. Although his powers are indeed quite strong, they wouldn't be considered as strong as other powers. If Hikoto uses a special gem he keeps on a string around his neck, Hikoto can amplify the power of his lightning by ten, although this drains some of Hikoto's energy every second Hikoto is using it.
Weakness: Hikoto is only stronger than a normal human. While that would be considered amazing for humans, I'd assume any fights that would happen would be between super-humans and monsters. Hikoto also has very litte combat experience, so it's likely that he'd be of any use in a fight. He is trying to remedy this, but it isn't going very well.
Skills: Skilled bo user, excellent chef, and retains information no matter how useful it could be.
Hobbies: Hikoto is interested in two things: Science and anime. More specifically, multi-dimensional theory and slice-of-life anime.
Personality: Hikoto is a very polite and brave person. He's never done anything wrong in his life and he doesn't confront people who he believes has done something wrong. Hikoto tends to keep out of things until it concerns him or his friends, but he has been known to, on occasion, step in if things get a little out of hand. In a fight, Hikoto likes to strategize and uses what he knows about his opponent to his advantage. Outside of a fight, Hikoto tends to just gather information.
Background: Hikoto was forced into Orean Cause by a friend of his who said it would do him some good if he met other people within his age-group. As Hikoto did not have parents, his friend was his only legal guardian until he turned 18 in the coming year. Hikoto went without question and hasn't regretted the decision. There's not much to know about Hikoto; He likes science and has horrible taste in anime. Nothing much more to say, barring that he's had his powers from birth and he got his special gemstone from his guardian.

Dislikes: Hateful people, time travel buffs, dubs, and fruit punch

Role: Confident Shounen Protagonist Charismatic Hand-to-hand fighter
Background: Raised in an Eastern country by a master of martial arts known as Uncle, Iwa began training to be a great fighter at a pretty young age. Despite living a fairly hermetic life with Uncle, modern things were commonplace. In fact, most things that would be considered normal for a household were present. The only thing Iwa could not do was cut his hair. As Uncle said, hair was the only mortal thing that was equivalent to life. When cleaned of all the impurities, hair is beautiful and shiny, but when left untended hair becomes a mess of knots and filth. Iwa always took this to heart, but his guess as to way Uncle chose this metaphor was because he was a huge pervert. However, Uncle was also a skilled master of Muay Thai, Boxing, and several other hand-to-hand styles that Iwa never learned. Then there was his own style: Shooting Star. This style would become Iwa's main focus before departing from Uncle's house years later, but not before learning Muay Thai and Boxing. After almost two decades of training, Iwa decided he had spent enough time at Uncle's house and prepared to leave. His first order of business was a change of clothes and a haircut. For years he was only allowed to wear training gear and a kimono, so he switched things up (see below). After a not so heartwarming goodbye, Iwa set out to find work and was doing that before he met the group.
Personality: At first, charismatic, confident and brave. Later, I'll have him sulk down a bit (either through plot stuff or off-camera stuff) but for now and through most of the story.
Likes/Dislikes: Iwa likes fighting, having fun, candy, and being a service to others. He dislikes murder, criminals, and cheaters. Everything else is neutral or he just doesn't know he likes or dislikes it yet.
Hobby(ies): Iwa's hobbies are boxing, Muay Thai, and questing. Habit(s): Iwa's habits are like any other. For one, he cannot stop eating a star shaped candy. It's gotten better over the years to the point where he only eats three a day (four if a fight is involved). Next, he has a habit of overstating his opinion and saying what's on his mind.
Skill/Ability: Iwa is a very skilled hand-to-hand fighter. He know's boxing, muay thai, and shooting star style. He has a magical ability on his right hand that improves his punching strength tenfold.
Extras
Appearance: At the start of the story, Iwa styled the hair he didn't cut off into a pompadour. He wears a small, long-sleeved red jacket (think the jackets from AoT but not as doofy) a black undershirt, black pants and some grey and black tennis shoes. He's caucasian, has reddish brown eyes and black hair. On the back of his right hand is a pale, yellow star that is barely visible.
Power: His star-based ability that he uses alongside his hand-to-hand fighting does more than just enhance his punching ability, but these other powers won't become available until character development says it's necessary. This section will be updated when that happens.

Well, I decided to do an Ask thing, with my OC Rex. But since I can't draw...Hope you're not planning to put this on deviantART. I can't say much about their community, but I can say that if someone I followed did took the assets, placed them together, just to do an OCAMA even though his other work surpasses it, even by a little, I'd be pissed. If you did want to do one of these, I'd suggest just trying your best to art or, if you have the money, commission an artist to help you. Sure, commissioning artists is like this, but with this it just looks like you're being lazy instead of trying, like Sherlock said:*ducks behind the couch and waits for verbal abuse*
