On Achieng: “She seems nice but that’s a LOT of fangs and also the weakly meat deliveries are really heavy and oh god that’s beef right? RIGHT?!”
On Qaymu: “Wait, you’re saying the old man is a *dragon*?! Like a DRAGON-dragon?! Like fire breathing, human eating, gold hoarding dragon?! Oh god is that dragon profiling? He gave me a weird necklace last week and now I cant take it off and I might be cursed to keep dropping coffee mugs…”
On Iris: “She seems friendly but I had to install these heavy duty manacles in her unit last week and I’m not gonna kink shame or anything but they were like the REAL DEAL and now I can’t look her in the eye.”
On Alphonse: *WHAT THE HECK IS THAT AND WHY DOES HE HAVE FOUR ARMS!?!?*
On Miyuki: “The first time we talked I think I broke a blood vessel in my face and now I hide under the desk when I see her coming into the entryway.”
On Yumeiko: “She seems really nice but also I usually see her with Miyuki so under the desk I go. She gave me some really beautiful prayer beads once.”

At 25, Iris isn't a small woman. If one imagined what an Amazonian warrior would look like, Iris is the living definition. She is over six foot with broad shoulders and wide hips. She is muscular and she has long, dark, wavy hair she keeps pulled tight in a ponytail. Her skin is a dark caramel and her eyes honey brown. Her typical style of clothes consists of loose jeans, since her proper length only came in plus sizes, that she kept secured by a few belts around her waist and tank tops that were barely long enough to cover her navel. She has a few tattoos, the most prominent being the thick bars of black that encircled her upper arms. Her ears are adorned with multiple piercings and a hoop in her right nostril. When home, she is barefoot but when out and about, she favors heavy hiking boots.

Her wolf form can vary from an anthropomorphic bipedal form that can still speak, which she favors, or a feral large quadrupedal wolf that only knows blood and rage. Her pelt is black like midnight, her crystal blue eyes bright and clashing against her dark fur. Her nostril piercing is usually lost mid transformation but her earrings remain, though she usually takes them out before the full moon.

Race: werewolf

Racial Traits: Can change her form at will, though is forced to change in fits of extreme anxiety or anger or during the full moon. During blood moons, she has to be locked away for the safety of all because her wolf form is uncontrollable during those times because of her lack of a pack.

She's naturally strong and has a very fast healing factor. She's also ravenous. To the point that if she doesn't eat every day, her body will begin to eat her muscle mass and she'll deteriorate. She has such a strong metabolism that she pretty much can't get drunk and if she does, it's only for a short while. She has the typical aversion to silver and wolf's bane can make her sick if ingested or injected.

Requirements: Wolves need pack. It's in their very essence. They are hardwired to seek out a pack and belong and it is those bonds that help a wolf keep control during times like a blood moon or extreme circumstances.

Personality: Iris is pretty laid back. There isn't much that will bother her. She's slow to anger but quick to a smile. She's willing to offer her home to any and all that may need help. She may be a little too quick to make friends, her desperate need for a pack driving her to form connections where there may not be any to form. She'll move quick to make someone comfortable but won't hesitate to say something if someone tries to push too hard. She's generous but not a push over. She has her hard limits and won't hesitate to physically throw someone out of her home if she has to. She's a gentle teddy bear until you've crossed the line, then you'll get the fangs, sometimes literally if necessary.

However, don't bring up being a werewolf. She doesn't like that side of her. She barely accepts that, that is part of her and wants more than anything to change it. If someone even mentions the word wolf around her, her demeanor darkens and she usually is quick to excuse herself. As far as she is aware, the wolf who changed her left her for dead and didn't come back for her when the change didn't kill her. She had to discover how to control her wolf, with as little control as she had managed, by herself and with some help along the way and she is still a lone wolf in this apartment complex. At this point, though it's literally ingrained in her very bones, she isn't sure she would want to be part of a pack. Though it would make controlling her wolf far easier, she isn't sure she could stand to be near another wolf for too long before falling into a rage. It makes full moons a touchy subject and an even more touchy situation when the time arises.

Background: Iris was just a pup at the ripe age of 13 when she found herself staring down the threshold of the Umbra Rose Complex. Newly changed, confused, and alone, she wasn't sure what she was doing or what it meant to be a werewolf when the owner of the complex found her shivering against the wall of the entrance, curled up against herself in the cold of mid winter. He took her in, gave her an apartment and space to learn of herself. There she remained, barely leaving her apartment except to get food from time to time until he had had enough and went to have a talk with her.

The residents weren't sure what happened in that time but he didn't leave her apartment for three days and when he finally left, his clothes were in tatters but she was by his side, peering out at all the people from behind his leg. From that time on, she was more social, branching out on her own and meeting people. She grew up in the halls of the complex, helping out in the grounds and becoming part of the apartment family. She has yet to meet another werewolf in the complex but she has somehow made the staff and residents a makeshift pack. Though it's not a true pack. She still has to lock herself away during blood moons or step away from situations that are growing for too heated. To this day, she won't tell anyone what happened in those three days in her apartment with the owner of the complex and no one has the gall to ask the owner, so it remains a mystery.

Building, Floor, and room: 2-105

Room description: If there was ever an apartment that spoke of relaxation and lounging, Iris's apartment would be it. A wide, sectional couch with an extended lounger at the end for extra room to really spread out encased a whole side of the room and sat just in front of a large screen TV that hung just above a fireplace that looks as if someone took a handful of a mountainside and slapped it into the apartment. True limestone polished to a shining gleam took up the whole while and extended out and under a large coffee table large enough to be used as a small dinner table.

Off to the side was a granite lined bar with six cushioned stools positioned along its edge. The granite extended into wide counter space with large cabinets underneath for plenty of storage. A wide island with another two bar stools and a cook top took up the majority of the kitchen with a large fridge and deep sink taking up the back wall, counters filling in the rest of the space left.

A guest bath with a large walk in shower was off to the side, the guest bedroom located just next to it. Her master suite was just down the hall. If one were to walk further down the hall and pull the rug to the side, they would find a latch and trapdoor. Just below is a steel room with chains secured tightly to the wall. At the ends of the chains were a collar and wrist shackles. This was the room she rode put the blood moons in and the steel walls and floors showed it. They were marred by claw marks.

I absolutely adore the idea of people randomly having to deal with random mythical problems. Your shoes are suddenly going missing from time to time, knock on the walls and ask the elves nicely for them back.

If your lights are flickering, yell at the ghosts in your kitchen to stop fighting and follow the schedule you set up for them just last week.
