Bio

Oh let's see. I've been on this site for awhile. So I figured it's time for an update to this thing.

I'm old lol. Born in 1990. I'm sure you can do the math. I've been roleplaying since freshmen year in highschool. So I have a lot of experience, to say the least.

As for my tastes in rps. I like custom worlds that don't branch from fandoms. I'm personally not great at fandoms. I can do them if I like my partner enough but I just can't get into a mindset of a world that has everything set in it. I like dark, gritty roleplays that delve into the darker themes that tend to make people feel uncomfortable sometimes. I have and WILL kill off my characters if it feels like that's where the plot is going. Nothing is safe! I like to think of myself as a literate rper. You WILL get at least three paragraphs from me. Sometimes it can go up to pages if what is happening requires it but I usually keep to it under two pages for normal replies. I enjoy dynamic characters that are fun to play! I play both male and female roles without a problem and I am not opposed to LGBTQ+ relationships either. Most genres are not off the table except maybe slice of life. I'm already living a boring life. I don't roleplay to keep doing that.

I unfortunately have Major Depressive Disorder and though I take meds for it, sometimes my world just kind of crashes down around me and I may just vanish. My replies will become less frequent and then I'll just disappear off the face of the earth. I'm really sorry for people I've done this to in the past. I'm working on it.

I do group and 1x1 roleplays. I do have discord (BunniesofDoom) and can roleplay on that if you want but I much rather the site because my replies tend to get long and I don't like copy and pasting over and over just to get one reply out.

Well this is getting kind of long. I feel like I'm putting out an application. So I'll go ahead and end it here. If you want to roleplay, hit me up and we'll see if we mesh well!

As time ticked on in the coffee house, at some point, Kersey had rested her head on the palm of her hand, her elbow planted firmly on the tabletop, and had fallen asleep. Even the strong coffee she had been drinking wasn’t enough to keep the poor girl awake. She had been sleeping deeply for quite awhile when she felt her shoulders jostle.

Exhausted, confused, and unsure of where she was, Kersey slowly came back to her senses. An older woman was shoving her with a cane, complaining about how the homeless needed to stay out of such a nice coffee shop. Kersey blinked a few times, her mind still stuck between the realms of sleep and reality. She looked down at the elderly woman, her eyes squinting between fierce blinking.

“Huh?” She muttered quietly as she tried to focus her tired eyes on the woman. That only seemed to enrage the older woman and she went from poking Kersey with her cane to outright whacking her on the back and top of the head.

“Ow! What- Stop!” Kersey called out as she threw her arms above her head, deflecting the cane strikes as best she could. This woman was freakin nuts! ”Someone come get your grandma!” She called out to the general audience that were just standing watching as Kersey was thwacked with the cane.

“Grandma! How dare you, you disgusting street dweller.” The woman brought the cane down on top of Kersey with more power than the elderly woman’s form should have been able to muster and Kersey’s head slammed into the table with enough force to make her vision flash white for a moment. That moment was when the patrons finally stepped up to the woman and pulled her away from Kersey, yelling at her for her terrible behavior.

When Kersey lifted her head back up from the table, her eyes were a deep crimson and blazed like fire. They locked on the elderly woman who went from struggling to get free from the helping bystanders to trying to hide behind them as their gazes met. ”I should help euthanize you. Taking you out of your misery would be a blessing to all of mankind.” She thought as she slid out of the chair, her hand slowly rising to grab at the woman.

She froze when one of the helping bystanders pulled their phone out. “I’m calling the cops on you, lady! You can’t go attacking people with a cane like that!” Eris’s eyes flashed to the younger woman quickly dialing 911. ”We can’t lose this job or be interrogated by the police.” With a final sneer at the elderly woman, Kersey snatched her laptop off the table and tucked it into her bag. She shoved its charger cord in quickly after before slinging her bag over her shoulder and began to head to the door.

“Hey! I’m getting the cops. You need to stay to give them your story.” The woman on the phone said as she reached out to rest a hand on Eris’s shoulder. The girl shrugged the hand off before continuing her path towards the entrance. ”I’m fine.” She huffed before leaving the coffee shop in a rush. Once outside, she took a moment to gather her bearings. She reached up to finger the red spot on her forehead where her head had hit the table. It seemed fine enough. At least there was no knot on her head from it. She grunted before pulling the hood of her crimson jacket up and shielding her face from the general public. She had a plan that day, one that would make the heroes quiver in their boots.

For the last few days, she had been tracking down where the heroes spent most of their time when not out fighting crime. It had originally started out with a slight obsession on finding out where that glorious angel was but quickly turned into a revenge scheme for them daring to call her angel a villain. As far as Eris knew, Queen was the only hero worthy of the title hero. All the rest were fakes who dared smear her name. Slander, every single word of it.

It wasn’t hard to track down where the heroes did their training. It was practically announced with joyous proclamations in the news. New heroes training hard to help keep the streets clear of danger! Look at our new heroes! Working hard to get their hero licenses. It was disgusting. They were selling themselves to the government just so they could go and beat down any person they found unworthy. Disgusting pigs! They weren’t even willing to kill! If you can’t kill your enemy, then what even were you? Letting them loose into the world once again to just repeat their offenses.

As she approached the police training ground, she watched through the fence, her fingers curled around the metal links. Her crimson eyes flicked from one person to the next, gauging who the teachers and recruits were. She didn’t recognize any of them and felt a wave of relief to see that her wonderful angel had not lowered herself to such actions.

A vicious grin crossed her face as she let go of the fence. The ground under her feet began to liquify and she slowly sank down. She raised her hand to her lips and gave two fingers a kiss before finger gunning at the heroes as she vanished below the ground.

Under the surface, she swam along, quietly humming to herself as she slithered through the ground like a venomous snake hiding in the grass. She took a moment to pause, liquifying the ground just above her so she could feel the vibrations of the feet as they thumped along the ground. She waited until the thumping stopped and positioned herself under the feet. She moved up now, pushing her liquidation to the surface and reaching through. She could hear muffled screaming as her hands coiled around the unsuspecting hero’s ankles. She clung tight and began to swim down, pulling him down with her. It was over in a moment. The thrashing man sank into the ground, grabbing at his throat as he took solid gulps of liquified cement and dirt. He gurgled, thrashed a few more times before growing still. Eris used him as a springboard to go searching again, the ground hardening around the man and leaving him buried in his early grave.

Now there were quick moving feet above her, the ground vibrating harshly as panic ensued in the academy. She followed those vibrations like a shark tracking a trail of blood. For a moment, she saw an opening and reached up to grab the next hero, ripping them into the ground and repeating the process. This one was far more violent than the other, grabbing at anything he could get his hands one to keep from being pulled under, his hands only finding liquified ground and nothing solid. He was harder to pull in but eventually his head sunk under the surface and she shoved him down deeper before leaving him to suffocate like the other. She was running out of air and the last struggling man took more out of her than she would have liked. She needed to breach. Time to reveal herself, she supposed.

She swam away from the vibrations of thundering feet before she breached a few yards away from the frantic heroes. One arm then the other rose up from under the ground, grasping a hold of the rim of solid ground as she hauled herself out. Cement and dirt dripped off her as she rose up, her crimson eyes locking on the heroes across the way.

”You dare call yourselves heroes.” She dragged herself out of the pit before straightening to her full height. ”Selling yourselves so you can run the streets and do what you like.” Her magic flared around her, crimson forms dancing behind her as they all focused on the wannabe heroes. ”What are you going to do when your teammates are dying around you? Can you make that final move?! Can you bring your enemy to an end to make sure no more harm would be done?! That’s what makes a true hero! Someone who will do whatever it takes! NONE OF YOUR ARE WORTHY!”

Getsuy was a man of very few words. As the goddess placed a plate of food in front of him, his eyes lowered to the platter and he took a deep inhale. The food smelled far too much like plants to entice him, so he chose to ignore it as he turned his eyes onto the crowd about him. Now those gods and goddesses, those would be quite savory.

As the golden god of odd shapes and machinery addressed him, the grim being turned his silvery eyes onto the creature's form. He pondered for a moment, questioning if he could even consume such a creature. Surely had had plenty of magic to animate him but the wendigo was unsure if he could properly devour him to absorb such magic. Deciding that it would be far too much work for little to no food, he finally addressed the man.

”I was-” his head tilted slightly, his silver eyes flashing violently before he continued, ”curious.” A second platter of food was placed directly in front of Getsuy, this one with juicy, finely cut pieces of meat with a delicate sauce dribbled along them. Getsuy watched the servant hurry off, keeping her head low and her eyes cast to the ground. When she felt his eyes on her, her pace hastened.

The wendigo watched the girl until she disappeared behind a door then turned his eyes to the slices of meat. He inhaled, examining the new food. This platter was far more enticing to him and he pinched a piece between his thumb and index claws. Practically inhaling the piece, he chewed only once before swallowing it completely. He wasn't a fan of the sauce but the meat was pleasant enough.

He took his time, slowly eating one piece at a time. There were rules to civilization, rules that seemed to linger in the back of his mind whenever humanity peeked through. Though he did not feel he should follow such rules and would abandon them with the drop of a hat, he was civil enough that night to follow them well enough. Instead of devouring the food like the ravenous, starving beast he was, he restrained himself well enough to eat the food properly, if only a little quickly.

In between two pieces of meat, he paused a mocuriousment before locking his eyes on Aeliana. ”I smell the deer.” The unspoken question lingered in the air as he continued to eat. Where was he? Upon finishing the food, Getsuy turned to Antero with a grunt. ”Your acolytes move quickly.” He didn't truly mean anything by the statement. It was just a casual statement meant to spark conversation but he was very bad at casual conversations.

Serphia was like a ghost in the smoke, Arloke a silken turret of webs from his hiding place on top of the rafters. Keeping her body low and her swipes even lower, she went for ankles, Achilles tendons, and the back of the knees. Some of the men's thick hide boots protected the ankles and calves from attacks but even the plate armor did nothing for the back of the knees. Her dagger found one as the guard attempted to strike at where Arloke was previously. He cried out as he twisted, that leg no longer willing to work for him and extended out to his side as his hand dropped to the now deep gash in the back of his leg. The assassin didn't wait as she drove the dagger into the side of his neck, violently ripping it forward and out. The knight gurgled as he fell to his knees then to the ground. One down.

Three more to go. Or rather two more. She watched for a moment as the mage tackled the man closest to the fireplace, slamming the man's head onto the stone floor three times over before equipping himself with the man's discarded sword. She allowed her eyebrow to rise at the sight before a small smile crossed her lips. Perhaps he would be more useful than she had originally intended. It would seem he would be learning her name after all. Assuming they could get out of the smoke and get some fresh air again before they suffocated.

Sephria tried to cover her mouth with her hand, taking a moment to catch her breath but coughing lightly as her breathing came in quick and harsh. This smoke was truly becoming a problem for her as she dove under the table to avoid a strike from the last guards. Adrenaline had her heart racing like a drum and she had to cover her mouth with the bottom of her tunic so she could get even a meager breath without inhaling smoke. She blinked fiercely, trying to force the water from her eyes. She rubbed at her eyes and cheeks, smearing soot into her face.

The last two guards lunged towards Serphia under the table. One plunged his sword in quickly. She twisted away, the sharp edge of the blade cutting into her side, slashing her tunic and her skin underneath. She hissed out but ignored the strike as she slid out from under the wooden trap. She danced between the two men, bounding from one foot to the other.

As Malcador struck at the other guard, she dodged a stab towards her from the last one. She ducked under the thrust, grabbing a hold of the man’s wrist as she did so. She twisted her body into the man. She pulled his arm over her shoulder and with a grunt of effort, flung him over her shoulder and slammed him, back first, into the table. His breath left him with an audible “oomf” and she dropped down, pulling on the man's arm with all her weight and the momentum. A sickening crack sounded as his elbow bent the wrong way over the edge of the table and he cried out with what little breath he had left as his sword clattered to the ground. She picked up the blade in her free hand and used it to stab into the man's gut, pinning him to the table.

At Malcador’s call for them to retreat, she sprang on top of the table, blade whirling around ready for another attack. When none came, she took a moment to close her eyes and listen. The only sounds she could hear were Malcador’s footfalls, Arloke’s scuttering and the pained groans of the man pinned to the table next to her. When the wizard called again for their escape, she dropped off the table and followed his lead. As they drew closer to the door, Serphia ducked under the man’s arms, pushing his blade up before dropping her shoulder. She slammed into the doorway, the momentum flinging it open as they barreled through. She gasped loudly as they were finally exposed to fresh air. Taking large gulps of air and bracing herself on her knees, she bent at the waist as she tried to catch her breath. She remained like that for only a moment before straightening, feeling the familiar crawling sensation as Arloke crawled onto her back and settled himself there once more. Before they could waste any more time, she sheathed her dagger and reached into her pocket to withdraw the large ball of spider silk she had stored there previously. She grabbed the sword away from Malcador before she replaced it with the silken ball. That being done, she peered around at their surroundings.

They were in a small courtyard, low walls encasing the grassy hillock. To their right sat a path that led off to somewhere else, Serphia assuming it was the town below. The night sky was clear and she could smell the sea on the breeze that caused the flags along the walls to flap enthusiastically. Off in the distance she could see the movement of guards on patrol. She frowned, as she took the sword she had taken from the wizard and pulled it up in a guard defense. They didn’t seem to have noticed the two yet but it wouldn’t be long until they did.

“Time to go, Malcador.” She said quietly, flicking her purple eyes to the wizard.
When she made the comment about him being surprised by the Waffle House offer, he let out a hearty laugh. “Oh no, nothing like that. It’s just been a long while since I’ve been there. I think the last time I’ve been, someone got in a fight but that’s just typical waffle house stuff, right?”

When she said she overthinks music, he just gave a chuckle as he waved his hand in the air like he was trying to get the attention of a teacher who kept passing him over for someone else. “Yes, twin! Same! But I won’t judge you on it unless you play something like Barbie World. Then I’ll just have to pull over and make you walk the rest of the way,” he laughed as he slid his hands into his pocket, feeling around for his keys that he routinely kept in there. When he found them, he pulled the keys out and gave them the obligatory jingle.

He tossed the keys in the air before quickly snatching them back. “Okay! To my car we go! It’s not far from here. Like less than a block. I was planning on moving it closer to the dorm after this event anyways, so I don’t mind driving at all. Especially if you got yourself a good spot.” He continued to toss his keys in the air, listening as she explained that waffles gave her odd dreams.

“Oh, then maybe you should avoid the waffles! But like, I’ve had a lot of weird dreams too. One time I had a dream I was this large bird thing. I think I was a phoenix or something cause while flying around, I just randomly burst into flames! It was kind of cool. Cooler than being a dream sorceress.”

As they drew close to his car, he pressed the unlock button on his fob, his car’s headlights flashing for a moment as the doors unlocked for them. He stepped over to the driver’s side and pulled it open before he turned to face her. He rested his arms on top of his car’s hood as he smirked at her. “Last chance to back out before you get in the car with me. Some friends say I drive like an old man.” He gave a laugh before climbing into the car.
@Lemons
I'm gonna need you to explain that statement.

Apartment you fell through?
I am so happy for the interest! I am so excited since this will be my first RP I ever GM'd ever. We have enough to get things going so once I finish the CS and all that I will invite you all. Working on a Discord server too :)

Edit: I should note also that for your character I will be asking for realistic images. It doesn't have to be straight out of a period piece (like the ones I found for the Notable People).

I'm going to be drawing mine cause I'm not sure how realistic a harpie girl can get lol
Awesome! I'm thinking about harpy like woman in the freak show just covered in feathers.
@PatientBean
When it comes to enlightened abilities, can they change ones appearance? Or are they just special abilities they can use?
I am incredibly interested!
Feel free to make up some random NPC Grims and Light Bearers when yall post for dogfall. Let's make this a truly epic battle!
