Bio

Oh let's see. I've been on this site for awhile. So I figured it's time for an update to this thing.

I'm old lol. Born in 1990. I'm sure you can do the math. I've been roleplaying since freshmen year in highschool. So I have a lot of experience, to say the least.

As for my tastes in rps. I like custom worlds that don't branch from fandoms. I'm personally not great at fandoms. I can do them if I like my partner enough but I just can't get into a mindset of a world that has everything set in it. I like dark, gritty roleplays that delve into the darker themes that tend to make people feel uncomfortable sometimes. I have and WILL kill off my characters if it feels like that's where the plot is going. Nothing is safe! I like to think of myself as a literate rper. You WILL get at least three paragraphs from me. Sometimes it can go up to pages if what is happening requires it but I usually keep to it under two pages for normal replies. I enjoy dynamic characters that are fun to play! I play both male and female roles without a problem and I am not opposed to LGBTQ+ relationships either. Most genres are not off the table except maybe slice of life. I'm already living a boring life. I don't roleplay to keep doing that.

I unfortunately have Major Depressive Disorder and though I take meds for it, sometimes my world just kind of crashes down around me and I may just vanish. My replies will become less frequent and then I'll just disappear off the face of the earth. I'm really sorry for people I've done this to in the past. I'm working on it.

I do group and 1x1 roleplays. I do have discord (BunniesofDoom) and can roleplay on that if you want but I much rather the site because my replies tend to get long and I don't like copy and pasting over and over just to get one reply out.

Well this is getting kind of long. I feel like I'm putting out an application. So I'll go ahead and end it here. If you want to roleplay, hit me up and we'll see if we mesh well!

Oh welcome back! You leave roleplaying behind but it always seems to pull you back in, huh? Join the fun!

Thank you so much for the wonderful advice! I know I could have used that stuff growing up. Keep on being amazing!
Eliot let out a very fake laugh as she told him they could get him a parasol. He shook his head then, stepped up to the entrance as two guards pushed the heavy, wooden door open for them.

As he stepped up to Adelia, staying close by her side, he couldn’t help but wave at the children as they ran by. A few waved back, most too busy playing to realize who it was that was strolling through their midst now. As she told him that he needed to stay close else he might get kidnapped, he laughed lightly.

“Oh I’m sure I could pester them enough to have them bring me back.” He let a smirk raise the edge of his lips as he peered over at her with a sideways glance. As they went along, people bowed to him. He gave them a smile and a casual wave. He didn’t really care much for the bowing but something inside him guided his gestures. Something whispered to him the next move to make, to smile and wave, to greet the people and let them see that their prince- or rather princess, was one of them, even if he didn’t feel like one of them.

A little girl ran up to the couple, her hands behind her back and swaying nervously on her feet. “Princess Eliot,” she said as she stared up at the two of them. Eliot smiled before squatting down on his hunches to look at her at her level. “I picked this for you! I hope you like it!” From behind her back, she presented a simple little flower of white petals and yellow pollen. Eliot delicately took the tiny flower from the girl, flashing her a dazzling smile.

“Oh thank you! I’ll cherish it forever.” The girl beamed as she hurried off to tell her mother that the princess took her flower and liked it so much, she was going to cherish it. He watched her go before tucking the flower into his braids. Before he could stand to his full height again, a rather large man stepped up in front of him. Eliot peered up at the man, a frown on his face. He knew this tactic. It was a gesture that insecure men took when they saw an opportunity to be above someone, even for a moment. As Eliot slowly stood to his full height again, practically having to lean back so his face wouldn’t grind along the man’s junk to do so, he let out a deep sigh.

“Princess,” the man said as he took a slight bow, forcing Eliot to step back from the large man else possibly get headbutted in the process. Did this man understand personal space or was he just this obnoxious?

“Yes?” Eliot said, his voice dry and unenthused.

“My name is Lord Jeffery Darwin, of the Darwin lineage. I heard tales of a fine young princess who had yet to take a hand in marriage. I came to see for myself and imagine my surprise when I found the tales to be not only true but understated. You are as beautiful as a young flower at the beginning of spring.” Eliot’s frown on his face only seemed to grow deeper as the man went on and on. It was as if Shakespear and Tolkin had a kid and that kid turned out to be a twat. He wanted to interrupt the man and tell him that he wasn’t interested in the slightest but etiquette, that he didn’t know was trained into him, kept his lips sealed shut. He only watched the man, his face growing emotionless as the fool carried on.

When he finally stopped talking, Eliot peered over at Adelia. He had a lot of nasty things to say to the man but he decided he really didn’t want to make that big of a show.

“I thank you for the compliments.” He said dryly, wanting to move around the man and continue their parade through the village.
When Adelia stared at him, he couldn’t help but purse his lips inwards, trying his hardest to keep the smile from his face. His eyes lit up with glee. He was having quite the time being a pretty, little, princess. He gave her a quick wink before he cleared his throat and tucked his hands behind his back. It seemed she was going the full route of knight so he assumed he should at least try and play the princess role.

When she said that they were to go on a tour of the village, his face contorted into a grimace. Oh no. He had to go in public looking like this? He looked down at his dress before looking up at her, a look of doubt on his face. She was pulling his leg right? Surely they weren’t supposed to go outside! However, as she teased him and the smirk crossed her face, he let out a low laugh before hacking up his dress and getting ready to walk past her.

“Your majesty!” One of the maids said in absolute disgust and he turned around to look at them. He saw the look of horror on their faces and slowly lowered his dress, an inch at a time until the look of horror finally faded from their faces, the hem of his gown now planted firmly back at the length it was before he hiked it up. He sighed before turning towards Adelia.

“Let’s just go!” He hooked his arm into hers and pulled her along, unwilling to linger any longer with those particular maids in waiting.

“You know,” he said as he leaned in to whisper in her ear, much like he had at the mixer. “I have- no idea what I’m doing.” Guards and servants bowed to them as they made their way through the halls, some wishing them a good morning as they went about their business. Eliot felt like he had to acknowledge each of them and so his head recreated that of a bobblehead, constantly giving a quick nod with each person as they went by. Eventually he just turned a distraught eye to Adelia, silently pleading for her to move faster so they could get out of the castle. Who knew there would be so many damn servants and guards! His neck was starting to hurt!

As they exited out of the castle and into the bright sunlight, Eliot took a moment to look around. People were everywhere! There were horses and guards, servants, and tradesman. There seemed to be some kind of makeshift shopping center set up in the courtyard of the castle and people buzzed around like a swarm of busy bees. Eliot stared at the commotion with a glint in his eyes. Was this what it was like in real medieval times? The movies didn’t show this side of the people. It was always just inside the castle or small glimpses of the villages but this, this was almost as busy as a big city.

He stepped into the hustle and bustle, a large grin planted on his face. This was turning out to be fun.
Eliot sank deeper and deeper into a dream realm. His dorm room was replaced by a royal bedroom. In front of him, a large spread of mirrors, behind a huge canopy bed with elegant lace dangling from its overhead posts and supports. To his right were two broad windows that allowed the warm sunlight to stream in and light up his room, thick, heavy curtains tucked to the side on each one. A chandelier with a multitude of candles hung from the ceiling, the stone cold under his bare feat. Just to his side were two maids in waiting, tightening the corset around his chest. He stood with his arms spread to the side, gazing at himself in the mirror in front of him.

He had on a pale white chemise with mid-length sleeves. On top of that was the corset of plain white that the maids were finishing typing properly. He was pleasantly surprised to learn that the corset didn’t strangle him like he always thought they would. It was actually a little on the comfortable side. He turned his head this way and that, peering at himself in the mirror. This dream was really weird, even weirder than the others he’s had in the past. At least, in those dreams he was the same gender and yet, as he peered up at the reflection of his face, he couldn’t help an eyebrow raise. He made quite the dashing young lady. His slim face and high cheekbones relayed well to the softer form of a woman. His ears did look to protrude out further than in his normal body but he always assumed he had big ears. That wasn’t anything new to him. Other than that, though, heck he would date him! He looked nice!

The next thing to be slipped over his head was a Bliaut. The gown was surprisingly heavy and he found himself shifting uncomfortably under it, only to have one of the maids give him a small flick between the eyes, not painful but enough to get his attention. “Your majesty, please sit still so we may finish before Knight Adelia comes.”

Knight Adelia? The young boy stilled so the women could finish their work, staring at himself in the mirror in front of him. So she was in this dream too and she was a knight. He gave a small snort of a laugh at the thought. Man this dream was getting weirder and weirder each second he remained in it.

Once he was fully dressed, the maids got to work on his hair, guiding him to a chair directly in front of a vanity. They pulled his, now, long hair up and began to braid it. The braids began at the hairline then flowed smoothly along the sides of his hair, connecting in the back before being lopped in on itself over and over again. They bound it to the back of his head liked a bun made of braided loops before they stepped back, each nodding with appreciation for their work. Eliot reached up to glide his hand along the braid to only have one of the women swat his hand. “Your Majesty, if you continue to touch it, the braids will get messy.” Geez the women were pushy. Weren’t maids in waiting supposed to be obedient, quiet women who helped the royal family? These women were treating him like a bothersome child they had to teach proper manners to.

A knock came from the door to his chamber and Eliot whirled around to face it. A large grin broke his face as he stood quickly, practically tripped on his multitude of layers and hurried to the door. He grabbed the handles and pulled the door open wide. When he saw Adelia standing there in elegant steel, he had to muffle a laugh. They got her, alright. The dream had made her into a true knight. “Well, look at you. I didn’t think I would see you so soon. You look great!”
Eliot laughed as he nodded to the music choice. “Oh no, this works perfectly! I grew up on this stuff. My dad used to blare it on the surround sound to wake me up in the mornings.”True to his word, Eliot drove like an old grandpaw. He checked his mirrors multiple times before taking turns, didn’t go over the speed limit and drove like he was on a casual weekend drive to just enjoy the sunlight, though it was night time and there were very few people on the roads.

Waffle house was a nice little rest stop between the hustle and bustle of college life. Adelia was a great person to talk to and they ended up staying out far later than they realistically should have.

Eliot peered down at the watch on his wrist, practically doing a spit take when he saw it was getting close to two in the morning. “Shit!” He exclaimed as he started to scramble out of the booth. “It’s almost two! I’ve got class in 5 hours. I didn’t do my homework! Shit. Shit. Shit.” He pulled his wallet out of his back pocket and hurried off to pay the check so they could leave. He didn’t even care that he was paying for both their meals. He just handed the woman a twenty and a ten before telling her to keep the change.

He turned back to his newfound friend with an apologetic smile. “Sorry about this! I know it’s kind of sudden but it’s gonna take me forever to finish that homework. Maybe I should just stay awake and hit up a nap after class.” He held his hand out to help pull her out of the booth before he led the way back to the car. “I did have a lot of fun though and maybe after I wake up from my coma, we can hang again.”

His drive back to campus was a bit faster than the initial drive to the waffle house. It was going to take him a few hours to get through that calculus homework and he knew he probably wasn’t going to get it done if he went to bed to wake up to it. In fact, he knew he wouldn’t do it at all if he went to bed.

“I’ll text you!” He said as gave a wave then ran off to his dorm. He was having such a nice time with Adelia, he had completely forgotten about his homework. He was a fool for that, he knew but it was nice to have met her. She was like a calm stone in the middle of the raging river that was Eliot. It was as if she tethered him to reality and held on tight. It was a nice change of pace when around her. He definitely wanted to do it again.

Despite his best efforts, Eliot ended up falling asleep halfway through his homework, his head resting on the palm of his hand, a small dribble of drool dropping down on his work.
Uh, maybe this isn't the place to put this kind of stuff. A journal seems to be better. Maybe talking to a therapist but a site for roleplaying games doesn't seem like the place.
I tend to just use the OOC for that. I find it attracts more attention to the rp if we do that, shows people the rp is active, and some people don't use Discord
Serphia readied herself, unsheathing the dagger in one hand and guard’s sword in the other. The guards had caught sight of them and were demanding for them to halt their activity. The drow whirled around, a snarl leaving her throat. Six, eight, no ten men. Her heart fluttered for a moment. They were dead. After all the hard work to get out of the damn prison in the first place, they were going to meet their end right there in that grassy knoll. She couldn’t fight off ten men while trying to keep the mage alive.

She slowly lowered Arloke to the ground from her back, her purple eyes flashing in the dim light of the moon as she prepared herself for her final battle. She would go down swinging. None would say she died a coward.

However, before she could barrel forward and meet the offense with her own, she felt a swelling of magic just behind her. Suddenly, her wrist was snatched and she found herself spinning into the chest of the mage as he wrapped his arms around her quickly. She let out a hastened whistle, Arloke grabbing a hold of the mage’s leg as the smoke enveloped them. The guards crashed through the smoke of the spell, finding the area empty and their prisoner’s gone.

Serphia learned that night that she was not built for teleportation magic. As they were thrust through another dimension, their bodies feeling as if they didn’t weigh anything, Serphia felt her stomach rise up in her chest and when their weight was returned, she felt that same stomach come crashing down. Nausea overtook her and she snapped her eyes closed, trying to settle her distraught stomach.

As they came crashing down into reality again, Serphia let out a groan as her body slammed into the mage, Arloke falling into the grass just next to Malcador. She lingered there on top of the mage for a moment, her eyes still closed tight as she tried to overcome the nausea. Her mouth began to water and her eyes snapped open. She covered her mouth and frantically scrambled off the man. She managed a few feet before retching and spewing into the grass just under one of the nearby trees. She braced herself against the trunk, resting her sweaty forehead against the back of her hand before she felt another bout of nausea and lost the will to live with another violent spew of her stomach.

As the mage gave a weak cheer, Serphia held her hand up in a half-hearted victory gesture. “Cheers and celebration,” she murmured quietly. She spat into the grass before she rolled along the tree, coming to settle on the other side of her mess, her back braced against its trunk and head leaning back.

Slowly, the adrenaline from the battle faded and left Serphia shaking and aching in a few new places. Her stomach was empty and her blood sugar was quite low. She could feel it as trembles travelled through her.

As sensations returned to her, most specifically pain, she hissed lightly as her side finally demanded the attention it needed. That guard had cut her when he stabbed under the table and now it burned like fire.

Slowly she reached out and gently groped along the gash, her fingers sliding through the slice in her tunic and feeling the blood that had soaked through her clothes and dried along her skin. She groaned lightly, unwilling to move just yet else she would have to deal with another bout of nausea.

This was her only article of clothing and now it was ruined. Those bastards took everything from her. Her weapons and armor were still somewhere within those prison walls, most likely already stolen by some guard. It’s going to cost her an arm and a leg to get armor even remotely as nice as the set she had. Not to mention her swords were adamantine. If she found even one person wearing her weapons or armor, she was going to slay them and take it back. Wait. Her eyes snapped open. Was that why they had stripped her? They wanted her items?

“Phraktos tlu xsa'us,” she cursed through clenched teeth as she drove her fist into the ground. “Those fuckers stripped me to steal my items. I should have murdered every last one of them.” The sudden movement sent a sharp pain through her side and she ground her teeth as her hand shot to the gash. She gave a low whistle and Arloke scurried from the mage to her side, her pack bouncing lightly along his abdomen.

She pulled the pack off him before giving Arloke a gentle stroke to his back. “Thank you, ussta abbil,” she muttered quietly to the arachnid before she began to dig through her bag one handed, her other hand still pressed firmly against the gash on her side. They were lucky that the cut was the only thing she had acquired during that brawl. It could have been far worse. A meager wound on the side that had pretty much already stopped bleeding and wasn’t deep enough to be deadly was nothing compared to losing their lives. She may need some stitches to close it up properly but they were alive.

The sigil wasn’t falling. Algrimar ground his teeth in frustration as the light bearers flooded through the sigil to face him and his army head on. Where was Kaiji? Why had he not succeeded in his goal yet? The monster of a man let a snarl rip from his throat as he bore his gaze down on the hunters as they ran out to meet him. Perhaps the boy was finding a bit more resistance in getting in the stronghold than he anticipated. Maybe these particular Bearers weren’t as stupid as the usual bunches they would face at other villages and fortresses.

Before the Bearers were upon him, Algrimar reached out to grab two of the lesser grim by his sides and hurled them, one after the other, over the barrier of the stronghold. The hound-like beasts snarled as they soared through the air, landing on the protective barrier above the fortress. ”Find Kaiji! Devour anyone who gets in your way!” The two grims began to run along the barrier, making their way over to the other side of the fortress to aid their sneaky little friend.

As the bearers finally drew close, their weapons ready to strike, Algrimar reached out to grab one by the face, holding him just out of reach of his sword’s range. The man screamed as the heat from the grim’s hand began to bear into his flesh, scorching him before igniting his head in flames.

He locked his gaze on another attacking hunter, the man freezing mid stride as his eyes were trapped within the creature’s thrall. As the man stood entranced, Algrimar inhaled deeply before breathing out his hellfire upon the attackers. His flames first engulfed the trapped bearer before he finally turned his head, sweeping his attack back and forth before him, igniting any bearer within his range. He finally threw down the now still corpse of the man he was holding onto and turned to face the fortress once more. ”Is this the best you can provide! This will not sate me! Bring forth your best or I will burn this place to the ground!”

Strolling into the mayhem, he drove his claws into a fighter that was doing a decent job of keeping his lesser grim at bay. Violently ripping his claws out, he whirled around to blast another group of fighter in his flames, Grim and Bearers alike. As that group fell to the ground or dove into the tide to rid of the flames, a path was opened and his fiery eyes locked on the child who just came out of a beach house that had been set ablaze. She was carrying another man in her arms but all Algrimar cared about was the light that shined in their aura. A light bearer, a young one at that, not even 30 yet. Young Bearers were the best to watch burn.

He took a step towards the girl, a vicious grin crossing his face. ”Let me burn that pretty skin right off you, child.”
