@Tyler Night Feel free to have the baker respond or I can have the baker respond. If I make the baker respond just need to know what the Digimon use for money or how they do barter/trade.
Once G & Liollmon arrived at File City, they were pretty clueless as to where to go. Neither of them had any clue where to start. G was in awe of the city, it was so much bigger and grandiose than her village and the other villages she's seen. "Where do we even start?" Liollmon's response was what G assumed was the same as shoulder shrug.

Liollmon pointed at a crowd. "Something going on over there. So let's avoid them." G agreed. Liollmon pounced in front of a Cotsucomon. "Where do we find the files?" The Cotsucomon had no clue what Liollmon was talking about. "Try the mayor's office." G looked confused. "What's a mayor?" Liollmon laughed. "Mayor is like the Council of Elders at your village." Cotsucomon pointed them in the direction of the mayor.

G & Liollmon headed that direction. G marveled at everything. She sidetracked once again. She dragged Liollmon into a business. "What is that smell?" Liollmon wasn't sure which smell she was referring to. Liollmon sniffed the air a few times. "I smell cookies, bread, and..." Liollmon sniffed some more. "Can't be. Is that apple pie? I haven't had one of those in years. What will it take to get one of those?"
Not familiar with that time period. I am only really familiar with KOTOR (not the lame mmo) & the movies/tv shows.
I might be interested.
@Tyler Night Is File City going to look more like this or this. Source: wikimon.net/File_City

First one doesn't really look like a city, so my characters find it a little underwhelming for a "city".
My post has G & Liollmon heading to File City to find the files they have on G & her mother. Liollmon believes that is why they call it File City, otherwise it's just a stupid name for a city in Liollmon's opinion.

I don't know anything about File City, never even heard of it before.
G & Liollmon They were on their way to File City, they have gotten sidetracked numerous times. The closer they got the more she insisted on the things that got them sidetracked. At the end of one day they climbed a tree so they could rest. They were unbelievably close to File City but unaware of it.

The next morning they were awoken by a caravan. G & Liollmon were hungry, Liollmon jumped in front of it. Liollmon was able to haggle his way G some food and a ride. Once G was on board Liollmon inquired about the destination. "I can't believe our luck G, we are less than an hour from File City." G was both thrilled and terrified, if Liollmon was right about File City they would have a file on everyone including her and her mother. She could learn everything. G as a child came up with the story that her mother was a Digidestined, a great hero that had to leave her to keep her safe who would have came back for her but died heroically in battle. She was afraid she was going to find out she was abandoned not to keep her safe because she was unwanted and unloved.

Liollmon knew G's story about her mother, she told everymon that story. She wasn't telling it now. This had Liollmon worried. Liollmon at first believed the story but eventually came to the realization it was most likely bull, he still believed at least some of it was true. He was beginning to realize G was not entirely ready for the truth and may never be.
Is there a city or something the Digidestined are living in?
I'm thinking my character doesn't have a Digivice yet. She'll get it once she reaches the other Digidestined. Maybe eventually she'll learn it once belonged to her mother.
