I love the idea of playing out characters you love in worlds you know but it always felt hollow to me. I prefer the unexpected bits that bubble up when it’s all built together. :)

My favorite is epic fantasy. The Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan (and Brandon Sanderson) is one of my favorite stories. I always get stuck in a bottomless pit of world building and never finish anything though lol…

I write a lot of poems and journal for most of my writing lately. :)

Hello everyone! My name is Matilda but you can call me Tilly. :)

I’m returning to the RP world hoping to meet at least one person to write some great stories with. I haven’t had much luck with sites like this the past couple years but I am an avid writer, world builder, and love to roleplay (tabletop or online) when I can find someone to play with. I’ve never had a home when it comes to RP so I can’t list any communities I’ve been part of before, but it’s been an on and off part of my life since I was a kid.

I am a creative person and I love to write, draw, play music (guitar, bass, and ukulele) and even more so I love to see the creativity of others in action. I love to meet new people and experience new perspectives. :)

As for my RP style I prefer to keep things at 1-2 paragraphs. One liners and rapid fire posts bore me to death. I will go up to 4 paragraphs if I think the story needs it but I don’t like to go further than that as I feel like I’m taking too much control over the story. As for my partner I’m willing to read up to 6 paragraphs or so, if your post is actually moving the story. I am happy with first or third person posts as long as everyone playing writes in the same perspective. My grammar and spelling isn’t perfect and I don’t expect yours to be either.

I do not enjoy playing with characters from established universes. I don’t mind playing in established universes as our own characters though. I prefer to do some world building together before starting or to be included in someone’s original idea.

I have no interest in writing with anyone under the age of 18 and will not make exceptions. I prefer romance and passion in stories and I’m not shy about NSFW themes as long as they are given the same detail and depth as the rest of the story. I’m 30 and would much rather write with people around my own age or older.

For now I would prefer to stick to 1x1 pairings or maybe a small group as I get used to the site and start forming connections with other writers. I would love to be part of a lengthy, active RP with a group someday though.

I love chatting ooc and getting to know people as much as I enjoy RP so feel free to say hello! If you think we’d be a good fit or have any ideas you want to share I would be happy to hear from you. I can reply 2-3 times a day or more if I have the time. :)
