As for prior relationships, I'm not sure Thess has many things in common with anyone here really. Could say the two locks needed to expand their group so they just started collecting people of various skills.

I'm doing something similar, dipping into fighter to lvl 3 to get Echo Knight then ride on the rest as a Soulblade Rogue. Actually, I think our characters will get along great. It's dorky as hell, but the plan was to make her a Bounty hunting vigilante, kinda like Deadpool with psychic powers.

Paladin is one of the few classes I haven't played yet. I think Gorm's lawful nature (assuming he's lawful, most pals are) and Thess's Chaotic nature is going to make for some interesting rivalry.
