Once he became famous, he quit his longtime job as a stuntman because he figured that now he could have someone else do his stunts. He also wasn't famous for a while because he never wanted to be famous by default just because his family was famous.

Today's my last day of Winter Break, then it's back to school... *sigh* So, I probably won't be able to post as often (even then I already don't post much). Still, got a post up to accommodate for my lack of posting.

Changing Lanes

Harry, flashlight on his head, turns it on and mutters to himself for a moment. "I'm not gonna fucking be the seeker. That's no fun." He laughs for a moment, before twirling his hair a bit and finally saying "See ya, chumps!" With that, he heads out into the woods, disappearing into the darkness.

Two minutes later...

Ducking into a bush and turning his flashlight off, Harry giggles to himself for a moment, before relaxing. Thoughts race through his mind, namely 'who'll be the seeker' and 'what if Booker dies on this trip?' Well, he couldn't care less about the first question, but if the second ever happened... Well then he'd have Quinn all to himself. He laughs loudly for a moment, most likely startling anyone nearby, before going quiet again.

More thoughts race through his mind, this time more serious. 'What if I don't get into the university' and 'what's gonna happen when this trip is over? Will we all still be friends?' He tries to get these questions off his mind, but they keep coming back to him... He stays quiet, waiting for and wanting someone to find him so that he wouldn't be alone and these questions would go away.

The End is Near: Zombie Apocalypse

So our cast is:

• 40 something badass who'll run the fuck out of there if the odds are greatly against him.
• 20 something sniper who hates new people.
• 20 something doctor who gets scared around a lot of people (which isn't claustrophobia, it's social anxiety).
• 20 something melee dude who's in need of a mental evaluation.
• And a 20 something nerd who doesn't want to be alone.

This'll be fun.

Appearance: Gaunt, has a fair skin tone, and very scrawny. Has blond, curly hair and frequently wears a cap (as seen in photo). Frequently squints due to sunlight, has deep blue eyes. Generally thought of as handsome, and he agrees.

Personality: Richard is witty and enjoys wisecracking, as well as just talking with people. He banters around with people and enjoys drinking alcohol, as well as listening to the music Louis Armstrong. He is very intelligent, but doesn't show it off much due to not wanting to make others feel that they're inferior to him. Frequently mentions that people owe him drinks, as a joke.

Before “Open Waters” (Background): Richard was born into a wealthy British family, and spent most of his life there. He aced all subjects growing up, but his social life was lacking up until he reached middle school. After he asked a girl out, he started to branch out more and make more friends. Went to college at the age of 18, graduated at 22.

Richard graduated from college with a bachelor's degree in arts with a major in archaeology. From that point on, he traveled the world more. While spelunking in a cave, he found a box, and inside said box was the address to write if you wanted a ticket on the Crescenzo. After exiting the cave, he wrote a letter with the required amount concealed in the envelope and sent it, getting his ticket days later. And now, a new adventure awaits him... As do Cthulhu-like entities, hopefully.

Strengths: Charismatic, intelligent, great shot with pistols and fluent in most languages (can't speak any Asian languages or languages of lost civilizations, however).

Weaknesses: Very physically weak, can't handle most other guns, can't handle melee weapons and has arachnophobia.

Nathan 'Nate' Johnson

"SECOND AMENDMENT, MOTHERFUCKER!" - Nate shortly before shooting a zombie with a shotgun.

Name: Nathan 'Nate' Johnson
Age: 41

Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Allergies: Fatally allergic to bees, other than that nothing else.
Scars/Tattoos: Small piece of shrapnel in left eye (expanded upon in old injuries), other than that nothing else.
Old Injuries: When he was working as a construction worker at 24, a small piece of shrapnel ricocheted and hit Nate in the left eye. It blinded him permanently. Also during that job, he badly broke his leg after he fell two stories, and, even after it recovered, he had a horrible limp.
Height/Weight: 5'11", often just says that he's 6'0", and 194 pounds (a little flabby).
Health Conditions: Scoliosis and mild schizophrenia (hears faint voices in his head but nothing else). Has a limp on his left leg and is blind in one eye. Other than that, healthy both physically and mentally.

Skills: Shooting, mainly semi-auto pistols, bolt-action rifles and shotguns. Bad at shooting with SMGs or any other automatic weapons.
Hobbies: Hunting, writing, drinking and gambling.
Fears: Arachnophobia, apiphobia and thanatophobia (only fears that he'll die).
Strengths: Great endurance and physical strength.
Weaknesses: Blind in one eye (see: Old Injuries) and a permanent limp (also see: Old Injuries).

Personality: Cocky, witty and pretty much a carbon copy of an action movie hero... That's a good place to start when you think of Nate. He says what he thinks about situations, and, a habit that started when the apocalypse broke out, always says a one-liner when he kills a zombie. He's very loud and not scared to rush into dangerous situations, but, when it looks like he'll die, he'll hightail it out of there. Nate also speaks in a typical Boston accent, having been born and spending most of his life there.
Biography: Nate was born in Boston to a couple who owned a sub shop, 'Johnson Subs'. What an original name. From a young age, Nate was used to being alone due to his parents staying out late, in fact he spent his first night home alone at 5. When he turned 11, he started to head out and do things while his parents left him alone, and even started to ditch school. He got involved with street gangs and began stealing, and got caught with a bottle of soda at 14. His parents were called and started to pay more attention to him, despite his protest.

After a giant fight with his dad two years later, Nate was kicked out and moved into his uncle's house across town. His uncle started taking him out to shooting ranges, and even started to take him hunting later. Nate enjoyed this, and, when he turned 18, he joined the police force, only to be fired three years later because he shot a man who had already surrendered in a shoot-out. Nate then got a job in construction and stayed there for a few years, which gave him his two old injuries.

Nate quit his job in construction when he was 32, then became a commercial fisherman. He lived on the boat until he was 39, then finally bought a house. He stopped fishing and got on disability (due to his two injuries, scoliosis and schizophrenia), using that to pay the bills. He lived this way until 2 years later, when it all went to shit. Over his lifetime from when he lived with his uncle to now, he has kept his 12-gauge double barrel shotgun, which was (believe it or not) a Christmas present from his uncle.

Battle Royale: High School Students Fight to the Death to Please The Government!

Disclaimer: I do not own Battle Royale, the book or the movies. I just enjoy both and decided to make this.
WARNING: This RP will feature (rather graphic) descriptions of dismemberment, mutilation, possibly torture and death, be it of players or NPCs, and will also feature strong language. All of this will be happening to students from the ages of 13 to 18. If you object to the actions or the age group of the people doing/witnessing/being victim of said actions, then this is not an RP for you.

(Note: this takes place in an alternate universe where politicians are slightly more insane)

The year is 2020; after an event in the year 2016 in which approximately 800,000 students walked out of school in an act of defiance, the government passes the Battle Royale, or BR, act, in which, every year, fifty high school classes of fifty students are selected at random throughout the year to be put on an island with nothing but an explosive collar around their necks, a duffel bag of food, water, and an item (which could possibly be a weapon). You have to kill to survive.

You have three days to either kill everyone or die.

On midnight of the third day, if there is more than one student alive, the collars explode the heads of everyone but one select person, and they are declared winner.

Now that that's out of the way, welcome to Battle Royale, AKA the original Hunger Games! We need four players to start, but I'll give an additional day for people to sign up after we meet the required number. When the first IC post is posted, sign up will be closed.

Rules

• No insta-killing. Fighting is for players to decide (or a player and me if said player is fighting an NPC), but I don't want you to just say 'Player 1 jumps on player 2 and stabs him to death, he's dead'. That'll get you kicked out of the roleplay and your character will be killed off.
  Put some effort into it, once the fight seems to be too long or boring you can either run away or one of the players can just let the other one kill them. Also, guns are on the island (be it carried by NPCs, in your starting bag or in buildings), but will have limited ammo.
• To extend on the first rule, in a fight you have to get hurt. Not severely, but you can't escape every fight without a scratch.
• One-liners aren't allowed. Few-liners are okay, however.
• The timescale for the RP will be that one in-game day equals an IRL month. Basically, this means that we have three months to finish. Three months after the IC is posted the game will end and all but one of the players will die, who it is I will decide via a dice roll.
• No previous BR winners in characters, please. If I ever make a sequel and you survived, then I'll allow it.
• Cliche, but have fun! The last thing I want is a boring RP.

Wound Penalties

Slash/Cut to the all body parts: Bleeding, multiple will result in death.
Slash/Cut to the eyes: Blindness.
Gun wound to head: Death.
Gun wound to torso: Depends. Death if hit in the lungs or heart, bleeding if hit anywhere else.
Gun wound to limbs: Bleeding.
Gun wound to eyes: Death.
Blunt wound to head: Concussion, multiple result in death.
Blunt wound to rest of body parts: Bruise, could break limbs.
Blunt wound to eye: Blindness.
