Lyn sighed, putting a hand to her forehead. "I don't have time for this. Either tell me where I can find Kanaan Zuguan or leave. Im on important business," she said, standing up to pay her tab. She'd heard that this Kanaan had jobs for explorers, and she needed the money. Her personal quet would have to wait a while.
Lyn looked at Mekkah frostily, her ice blue eyes seemingly drilling into her very soul. "I've seen better," she said, turning back to the drink in her hand, taking another gulp. She'd heard rumours about several shady individuals in this city, and had come along to check them out. So far, she had found nothing.
"Ok," She said, shrugging a little. 'Apparently he's not the talking type. Hopefully he'll come out of his shell once he's been around us for a bit,' She thought. "So, what's your story?" She asked. She was curious about this boy. His mutation was decidedly different from anyone elses.
Jen looked over at Ethan. 'Man, the guards really hate him,' she thought, 'I don't think they've treated any of us like that.' She stood up and headed over to him, taking a seat next to him. "Hey, I don't think we got a good chance to meet yesterday. Are you ok? Those guards looked pretty rough with you," She said, giving him a sincere smile.
"I say Veronica," Jen said, crossing her arms. She really hoped that she wasn't chosen. She just didn't think sge was right to be a leader. She had too many weaknesses, and too little strengths.
