I'll write up an intro for my characters now. Would have done it earlier but I did a little shopping today.
Not speaking for myself here so forgive me if I'm completely off track, but I don't feel it will be constant in terms of character interactions. It might be a constant for the characters expressing those traits themselves, but I am positive that if you say you're not comfortable with that sort of thing then you'll have nothing to worry. This group seems very understanding, so if you don't wish for your characters to personally be involved with that sort of thing then I'm sure the others would be willing to make an effort to not use those traits when directly involved with your characters in any way.

That's just my understanding from personal experience when certain people object to a character trait.
Based on her personality, she'd probably highly recommended bringing her along. Which sounds arrogant, but it's mostly because she knows first hand how dangerous these monsters can be and doesn't want to see anyone be hurt because of them. However she also understands that she can't do it all herself, so if there are others who want to complete the quest she would respectfully let them take it without objection.

She is capable of more than hunting beasts, it's just what she's good at. So there won't be any problems if others want to take those quests. She'll probably insist on coming, but whether she does or not depends on the Guildmaster's decision. I imagine there might be times when Chizuru thinks it'd be best for the group to take on the task themselves without Shalquoir babysitting them.
In the world of Fairy Tail there are still beasts and monsters that pose a threat. Her role isn't limited to hunting monsters, obviously as the story starts up she'll be dragged into it along with everyone else. She's just established as being very well suited to killing beasts. If any missions do arise where a monster needs to be dealt with, she'll most likely want to participate in them as that's what she's skilled in.

While hunting beasts at the moment is her primary motivation, she will become accustom to the guild and perhaps form new motivations such as the desire to protect her comrades.
Delwyn thought the calm, polite manner of speaking that the easterner woman had was quite charming. He was a little worried when at first she didn't seem to realise what the bell was, but was reassured when she suddenly remembered it. Delwyn had assumed that they all came here for the same reason as he did, but perhaps he could be wrong.
The reason, he thought, his grip tightening around the bag of medicine, Margaret and Isabella. Every day that passed it became harder to remember their names. He had to find that bell, even if he was frightened. With a sudden new found resolve, he smiled at the group as Gerhard refered to him as a bookworm.
"My name is Delwyn Seren. I'm not very strong, but I was once a Chronicler at the Vinheim dragon school for magic." He held up the chronicler's catalyst; the dark leather of the cover inscribed with ancient runes and hieroglyphs. "I offer my sorcery to you."

As Delwyn finished his introduction, a peppy young voice sparked up from behind him.
"And I'm Lucas!" Quickly turning to face the young, disfigured one, Delwyn was a little startled that he'd moved towards them so sneakily. Perhaps it was a hidden talent. He smiled politely to the child, stepping to the side as to allow the others to get a look at him.
"It looks like we have accumulated quite the group. That's reassuring." He was expecting to see the skull clad fellow joining soon, but there was no more traces of him at the shrine.
As long as you're both doing well, that's what's important. Good to have you back with us.

I'm going to make a quick post!
My plan was for all my characters to join the guild IC, but seeing as we already have a great deal of people doing that I've decided that I would like Charlotte and Makoto to already be members that very recently joined (like a couple of weeks ago). Shalquoir will still be joining IC.

In terms of teams. Shalquoir at the start will most likely insist on working alone; as her past experience with her line of work usually lead to the death of many of her comrades. However that's not to say that she intends to ignore everyone, and as time goes on she'll most likely begin to soften up and be more willing to participate in missions with others. On that note, Shalquoir is most likely only going to accept quests at the start that involve the hunting of beasts/monsters/demons etc so if we're taking it slow at the start with just simple quests she probably won't feel that inclined to participate.

Idk what she'll do with all that free time while people are taking requests. Maybe her and Chizuru can sit around the guild and complain about those damn kids wrecking everything (To my knowledge, Chizuru and Shalquoir appear to be the oldest characters).

As for my two precious babies Makoto and Charlotte; they've grown up together and become best friends but they're probably better suited ability wise to not be on the same team. Makoto is a support mage who heals his allies and Charlotte is a support mage who weakens her enemies with hexing spells. I'd personally like them to be spread out onto teams that could really benefit from their abilities.
My intention was for the NPC's to just be freely utilised as characters by everyone. It never really occurred to me to really add a specific personality to them; I just figured it would kinda happen. What I might do instead of making a sheet for them is write out a list of all our discovered NPC's in each area and write a synopsis on their role and personality.

The reason why there isn't that many NPC's listed is because we haven't discovered them yet. It'd ruin the surprise if I just listed every possible NPC we'd come across through the rp.

People are free to rp NPC's as they please. The only exception to this is when an NPC offers information, an item or a weapon/armor in exchange for certain valuables found as the roleplay progresses. I'll probably be the one rping that exchange, as they will usually involve a little bit of insight into the current world of the rp that will help us progress.

Forget what i said about taking it easy, work just asked me to come in last minute. Life is cruel.
I'm going to be kicking it easy for a few days. Freedom from the semester needs to be celebrated with a few days of bliss.

EDIT; I'll still be online, so I'm not really going anywhere. But now I can actually relax.
