Hey, I'm Chai, like the tea. Welcome to my profile here on RPG.

If you're a GM or a fellow roleplayer that wants to suss me out for your roleplay, all you need to know is this: I'm pretentious about my tea and likely my roleplaying too. All you're going to find in my post history are pretty things and probably some writing that I may or may not be proud of.

I'm a fucking menace, your favorite villain, so just keep that in mind.

If you want to be friends, just hit me up with a PM to say hello!

PFFFFF no. Even if she wasn't incredibly more hot AND rich AND socially acceptable, she wins Best Girl for the simple reason that Eponine has no claim on him. He's a free man- I don't they were ever actually an item, and even if they were it is OK to stop liking someone (/start liking someone else). That's not to say I didn't feel sorry for eponine; her character is incredibly pitiful. Just, that has no affect on my opinion of the other girl. It's not like she intended to 'steal' him.TLDR: BLONDS ARE JUST BETTER OKEDIT: also poor girl probably stank. Like awful.

No, Cosette is still an uppity man stealer who crushed Eponine's chances at love. Eponine is bae.
*Aria may or may not have wanted the role of Eponine, and got the callback for Cosette instead, losing the role of Eponine to her best friend*

@Nines and Halo: I think what did it for me was Amanda Seyfried. Because I had sung the role before and had seen the musicale performed in a theater, listening to her sing was like listening to nails against a chalkboard. Whenver she sang her Bb5 and C6, it just made me cringe. And her acting wasn't spectacular either... acting Cosette is difficult because you have to convince the audience that you totally love this dude you had just looked at. The audience basically sees you as a MAN STEALER, and it's hard to win over their hearts when Eponine has "On My Own" and also dies in her love's arms. BUT Eponine is also shown as a jealous liar, so I guess both women are even.

I totally agree with you guys though on the acting. Jackman and Crowe did an excellent job, as did Hathaway. And MY GOSH, during "I Dreamed a Dream" and "A Little Drop of Rain," I BAWLED like CRAZY. It was just so raw for me.

The singing is horrid. Hugh Jackman (he's so hawt) cannot keep his head still when he sings. Amanda Seyfried sounds like a dying cat when she squeezes out her high notes. Anne Hathaway was okay. And don't even get me started on Russel Crowe's monotonous crap he calls "singing." I mean, thank god Samantha Barks was picked up from West End. She redeemed the entire cast with "On My Own."
But anyway, it may be hard to follow if you don't do prior research or you only watch it one time. It's all these stories of different people that are ultimately all related to the main story. The actual story is beautiful-- it's about a man who commits a crime, and after being shown kindness by a bishop he basically learns to live his life in the grace of God by giving grace to those all around him. Now the cop who wanted to catch him for nine years struggles with bringing the man to justice (which he believes is his duty from God), or following his own moral beliefs of letting him go because the criminal has now made good of his life. And thrown in there are other characters with stories that are intertwined with the criminal's story. It's one of the most touching movies/musicals/books I've ever come across.

Americans tend to be somewhat more boisterous and less reserved than Brits, so I usually hear their voices before they hear mine.

Omfg I am Exhibit A xDDD

I'm just curious about these things lol. I had a French foreign exchange student who claimed that girls never liked him "back home," but man, he pulled so many chicks during his year in America. I mean, so much pussy (excuse my language). And when my friends went to Spain for some summer trip, they were those idiots that were just awestruck by every attractive man who had a thick accent. LOL.

So I have a question for Nines and Halo: So you know how girls in America love accents? When teeny bopper/early twenty-somethings visit the UK, are they pretty easy to spot? I mean, do they go nuts over every male who speaks or what?

Ah, that actually sounds effing amazing. I'd kill for a Gatsby-themed Prom. Instead, we get a ceilidh, which is traditional group Scottish dancing. I'd almost prefer the grinding. It's all very formal - we rent out a super-fancy hotel place and go have a shmancy meal and everything. Then we get drunk with our teachers and afterwards everyone over 18 goes out clubbing while us poor technically-minors crawl back home to weep bitterly into our dresses/kilts. xDOh lord, Elli going all dark, mysterious and seductive on Amis... that could end well (and hilariously), what with the rage they'll probably end up feeling for eachother, right? ;P

It's okay, I wept bitterly into my dress after prom. I wasn't 18, so I couldn't go to the clubs and after-parties. Our prom is very fancy and formal as well, but the themes differ year to year. My sister had "Classic Old Hollywood" and "Masquerade."

Trust me, hilarity will ensue. Not only will there be rage, but remember that it makes Elli a cradle robber. #cougarstatus
