Hey, I'm Chai, like the tea. Welcome to my profile here on RPG.

If you're a GM or a fellow roleplayer that wants to suss me out for your roleplay, all you need to know is this: I'm pretentious about my tea and likely my roleplaying too. All you're going to find in my post history are pretty things and probably some writing that I may or may not be proud of.

I'm a fucking menace, your favorite villain, so just keep that in mind.

If you want to be friends, just hit me up with a PM to say hello!

Hey, I'm Chai, like the tea. Obviously, I'm here looking to kill some time with writing and roleplaying. I'm a college student and I work, so I ask that partners are flexible with posts and don't demand some strict schedule. That's no bueno.

I'm open to writing anything and everything, as long as there's proficiency in English grammar and a nice plot. Essentially what I'm looking for are creative, detailed partners who value collaboration and consistently bring ideas to the table. I will walk away from anything that involves passiveness or the general term "submissive." Ew. Also, I absolutely adore OOC chat and communication.

If I had to put a label on things, I suppose I would classify myself as an "advanced" writer, but keep in mind that writing isn't about length. I refuse to keep or follow some asinine, arbitrary paragraph limit. My 300-word posts are just as "literate" and "advanced" as my 3000-word posts, and the same should hold true for you. Write the length that feels best for what's going on in the story. Personally, I write and enjoy posts that help to develop characters and drive the story forward.

Anyway, if any of this seems appealing to you, please don't hesitate to send a PM my way. Thanks!

.

This isn't some absurd list of terms and conditions to write with me. That's dumb. I'd like to think I'm a pretty chill roleplayer, but even I have some standards that I personally like to follow.

.::. Don't post in this thread; PM me. Thanks.

.::. Please don't just tell me you want to write with me. Give me something to bounce off of.

.::. Forums or PMs is okay.

.::. I can give you at least 1 post a week. I prefer slower paced roleplays.

.::. I don't care when you reply. It could take a day or a year, and I'll be happy to wait as long as I know the interest is there.

.::. If there's going to be mature content, partners should be 18+

NOTE ABOUT MATURE CONTENT: I've written about romance, murder, war, codependency, destructive emotions, substance abuse, violence, etc., all of which I consider part of "mature" themes because they're just not themes for children or teens. I am not here for anything other than to develop characters, improve my writing, and create a damn good story, and those can be done with or without mature content.

I'm bad at thinking of plots as I prefer brainstorming with my partners, bouncing ideas back and forth. If you have a plot you like, however, don't hesitate to send it to me. I'm welcome to all ideas.
I'm writing my post now <3
I'M SO SORRY I HAVEN'T CHECKED RPG IN A WHILE. School and midterms and all that jazz.

Yes, I'm okay with the schedule. Although I'd super love you if you changed Spanish to Music Theory or Choir or something. <3
@Dirty Pretty Lies

Hey girl~
I actually threw it together in Photoshop a few minutes before I posted it.
The script font is called "Angeline Vintage" and the sans-serif font is called "Century Gothic."
But yeah, I made this one myself. ^^

Hey Broomhandle45! Welcome (back) to the Guild.
Glad to see people coming back even after so many years!
Hope you have a fun time here~

Yeee, thanks!
I'm super excited for this roleplay. ♥

HOBBIES ::
Chemistry, biology, color-coding and organizing notes, riddles and logic puzzles, playing Xbox, texting, mixing home substances to make chemical concoctions (just ask her about the time with nail polish remover and bleach!).

PERSONALITY ::
At first impression, Stella seems like a quiet, bookish Asian girl. That isn't to say she's reclusive; she actually prefers to be in the company of friends and loves meeting new people. She cares more about her social life than she lets on, though most students seem to like and accept her friendliness. While never desiring to be the center of attention, she does like recognition for her accomplishments, and this makes her incredibly competitive. This competitive nature mainly manifests in her academics--evident by her spot in the top ten students of her class--but it can also be found in her romantic life, as well as in some hobbies, such as violin and theatre.

Most adults, including her parents and teachers, would likely describe her as studious, ambitious, respectful, and cheerful. However, just bubbling underneath that front is a more mischievous side. Stella's attention to detail and her observation skills make her excellent at analysis, and she always seems up to date on the school gossip. She also uses her air of innocence and acting experience to her advantage in the form of manipulation. Not that she's ever had to use it extensively, but she's been known to get away with turning in a late assignment once or twice.

BIOGRAPHY ::
Stella was born in Houston, Texas, although her family relocated to KoreaTown in LA, California. She spent her early childhood years growing up in the busy LA area, until her parents decided to settle down in one of the SoCal suburbs. As the daughter of immigrant parents (a Korean father and a Filipino mother), they had always instilled in her the value of hard work and education, just as they taught much of the same to her older siblings. Growing up, they tried to force her to attend various after-school academic extracurricular activities, although she stubbornly refused. In the end, she found enjoyment in music and theatre, activities that her parents hadn't quite approved of until they saw her perform for the first time. By the time of her freshman year of high school, she had established herself as a bright, promising student. She was well-known among the teaching staff due to possessing the same academic prowess as her older brothers, both of whom had also attended Hillcrest High School.

The first time she was exposed to petty crime was the summer after freshman year when she and her friends were at a Victoria's Secret store, and one of them tried to steal some lip gloss and a small perfume bottle. Her friend was caught by store sales associates, but ever since then, the act of theft had been in Stella's mind. If only her friend had been as observant about camera placement and the sales staff as she was, maybe she would have gotten away with it. There was only one way to test that theory, and much to Stella's delight, she was able to walk out of the very same Victoria's Secret store the next weekend with a purse full of stolen goodies.

Despite having deep roots in Asian heritage, and Southern California being home to a large Asian-American population, Stella identifies heavily with American culture. While she can understand both Korean and Tagalog (the Filipino language) and can read Hangul (Korean writing), she lacks the ability to speak both languages aside from simple conversational phrases.

Alright, thanks! This is my character; just let me know if anything is off, or if anything needs to be redone.

Hey y'all~

So I am EXTREMELY late to this party, and I was wondering if there were any open spots left?
I have a character made and everything, so just let me know. <3
