Personal Style: By day, Marc is your everyday typical guy. He wears sneakers, t-shirts and jeans, three quarters or shorts. Sometimes heāll wear the odd shirt and maybe a vest. He does like walking around shirtless in the sun though, so there are times where heās just strutting around in his board shorts and flip flops. Heās always got his piercings in as theyāre usually just simple studs during the day. If he isnāt doing anything too strenuous heāll maybe wear his nose and brow ring instead of studs and bars. Theyāre generally just gold or silver depending on his mood that day. Silver is a day where heās feeling particularly bored. He also wears a pendant with
this symbol from the Transistor video game on a black leather thong around his neck.
By night, however, Marc turns into Sunny Lulu! This is his entertainment persona that he uses in the evenings where he has booked work. He is a dancer/performer/magician depending on the point of call by the person hiring him. He can fill many slots but his true talent shines out with his dancing. Marc glams up his face with guyliner and mascara galore as well as some blush depending on how much sun heās had that day. He likes to look his best for his performances and he doesnāt skimp on the effort. He tends to wear varying flamboyant styled shirts (think frilled cuffs and flared collars that he likes to pop upwards. He pairs these with loose fitting Indian style trousers along with sandals and various toe and finger rings. His earrings become more glamourous, being swapped out for bejewelled studs apart from his auricle piercing which cuffs onto his ear and has a fine chain connecting it to his lobe stud.

Personality: Marc is an extremely happy-go-lucky kind of guy. He loves making people smile and never seems to have a frown on his face. Heās pretty laid back and chill about everything pretty much. He can come across as a bit much but heās a sweetheart really. He doesnāt have much of a purpose in his life beyond bring laughter and joy to others and how he does it isnāt really his biggest concern in life. Heās a wanderer just trying to find his place in the world. He also has a very adventurous and wild side to his personality. He doesnāt like to sit still for too long and will only have the odd day where he doesnāt want to go exploring somewhere new or trying something different.
Heās a very hands on kind of guy when it comes to doing things but doesnāt seem to be particularly good at sticking up for himself. Heās pretty passive when it comes to people giving him shit and puts others before himself. He doesnāt think too much of himself and can be a little hesitant when putting across his opinions but that doesnāt stop him from joining in on conversation too much. He can be quite self-depreciating in his humour sometimes but never in too harsh of a way. He knows when people need their space and doesnāt make a habit of sticking around where he isnāt welcome.

What Brings You To India: Having lost his parents, quit college and spent the last five years of his life working slave jobs to save money to do all the things on his bucket list that he could, Marcus decided that the next phase of his life would be living in a completely brand new country with the inheritance that he had received from his parents. He had already lived in China for a year, visiting all of his distant relatives and to pay respects to his ancestors and family while he was there. He had no idea where he wanted to move to, but knew he didnāt want to go back to the US. He literally spun a globe and his finger landed on India. A little internet researching later and he found an affordable place to live in a place called Jaipur. Adventure, ho!
History: Marcus was an only child and had loving, albeit strict, parents. They wanted the best for their son and drove him to reach for all of his desires and passions in life. Despite what a lot of Asian kids deal with, Marcus was really happy and was allowed to pursue his ānonsenseā hobbies in a more driven capacity. His parents figured that if he really enjoyed something and was also very good at it; where was the harm in letting him pursue it? He had a really good, healthy home life and found his love of dancing at the age of five. This led him towards acting and singing but he found that singing wasnāt his favourite activity, despite being okay at it, so he dropped it from his list of hobbies. He also found that he had a love for danger and extreme risks. His parents were not so happy about this particular hobby but, so long as he kept himself safe, they were happy to let him do as he pleased. So long as he kept his grades up, of course.
Marcusās perfect life was not fit to last unfortunately. He lost his parents when he was coming up on twenty and had been in college studying the performing arts in New York at the Professional Performing Arts School. He had achieved a year early acceptance and had been there for two and a half years when he received the phone call. His parents had died in a fire that was caused by, what was presumed to be, an accidental gas leak. He fell apart and continued trying to keep focused on college for almost another year before he knew he had to quit. Leaving college was hard but he knew it wasnāt making him happy anymore.
He then moved from slave job to slave job, earning himself money and keeping himself homed and fed (despite the hefty inheritance that his parents had left him, that was being saved for something special and important) so he was happy just going through the motions for a couple of years until the numbness of his loss had worn off. When he began to truly feel the loss of his parents after so many years, he decided it was time to go to China and see his distant relatives again. He lived there for a year and learned more about his parents and relatives, as well as a little more about his culture. His time there made him realise he didnāt want to go back to America. He received help from his uncle who was still in the US to clear out his parentās home, his home, into a storage unit that his Uncle owned and asked him to rent the property out.
He made his move and was on his way to Jaipur! He has only been in the hotel for a few weeks but heād managed to line up a few entertaining gigs like heād done in some of his slave jobs that needed a performer to liven up a particularly dull night.
