Bio

I like edgy bullshit and wholesome content in equal spades. Characters are people, and should be treated with the same thought you'd treat a person in real life with. I like magical girls, fighter jets, and magical girls that are fighter jets, and also vampires.

Don't DM me just asking for RP. If you contact me, put some thought into it. I wouldn't normally put something like this in my bio, but seriously - if I don't know you, and you don't present me with anything to go on, how on earth would I know whether I'd even want to begin putting in the effort?

"When steel meets wood, one of them usually shatters."

Hizuki slowed her approach, not attacking quite yet and simply keeping pace with the fleeing Diamond. The movement might have been interpreted Daybreak accepting the GEM's words at face value, if it wasn't for sections of her armor beginning to glow, and the already-glowing bits getting brighter as she gathered power. "If you want to talk, then you can just talk! Last time I checked, private conversations don't involve ambushes, coordinated assaults, or kidnapping people who are already vulnerable!" Her anger at the situation cut clean through her voice, apparent despite the fact that she had to amplify it just to stay audible over the increasing racket on the street (a nontrivial amount of which was the whine of engines spinning up.) "I'm giving you one last chance to let her go before I do something drastic. You're getting your conversation peacefully or not at all."

The nearby establishment abruptly exploding had not been high on Yayama's list of expected calls to adventure, though it wouldn't be the first time. It took her a moment to realize it was only one wall being busted out by a ballistic Miqo'te who was, as expected, thoroughly displeased with her current status as a projectile.

Then the catgirl hit the wall, and she exploded. "Seven bloody hells!" Yayama rushed forward to see what in the names of the Nine had just happened, greatsword trailing behind her in one hand. The situation then proceeded to get even more surprising, and significantly more confusing, when the dismembered corpse started speaking to her. Unsettling was added to the mix when her limbs extended tendrils toward one another, reuniting to reform as if the stranger before her were some soulkin reassembling itself after being awoken, and not a flesh-and-blood human. The sight was rather grotesque, to say the least, even if there was no mess left afterward. Not the most horrifying thing she'd seen, but certainly not pleasant. This is some Allagan nonsense, isn't it? It's always the Allagans.

The tapestry of emotion being woven at this time included yet another color of thread in the form of irritation when the recently-un-dismembered Miqo'te began quipping. Badly. It was honestly difficult to listen to, and she'd had all manner of villains, demons, and villainous demons make various attempts at mocking her. "Short jokes. Really. That's honestly the best you could come up with?" Yayama asked, aloud but not really bothering to ensure the woman heard her as Yayama followed after her. "At least make fun of my eyepatch, or say I'm compensating for something with my sword, or something." She was, in fact, short even by Lalafell standards, but she somehow doubted this Seeker - or whatever she was - knew or cared. "It's honestly a bit racist," she grumbled as she entered the building, making her way across the room to position between the angry-looking redhead and the culturally insensitive catgirl.

"Right, so, I'm a bit of a tourist, so perhaps this is normal around here and I'm the one being ignorant, but I've decided that this fight is both a hazard to the public and irritating to me personally." She pointed her sword forward, first at the redhead, then at the Seeker. "I don't know who started this and frankly, I don't care. Both of you two are going to cut this nonsense out, or both of you are going to become intimately familiar with the sensation of the other's skull smashing into your own." She highly doubted they would actually stop, given how often people actually backed down from fights around here (i.e., never,) but she could at least direct it elsewhere or end it herself. At the very minimum, you're going to take it into some kind of actual fighting arena. It's not as if this city is exactly wanting for them. If not, then frankly I'll just have to beat you until you can't move."

Yayama brought her weapon up into a high guard, the blade pointed slightly downward as she settled into a proper Ishgardian fighting stance. "You may not know me, but you'll learn soon enough why they call me Yayama the Unrelenting if you choose badly in the next moment or two." She lowered her voice to a stage whisper. "I would advise picking one of the boring ones."
Yayama Yama

Yayama was enjoying the sunny weather in Esaka. The drier heat was nice after Meridi-at-Han's humidity; it reminded her a bit of home. A home she didn't stop to reminisce about for the moment, as she had more important concerns than tourism in the town at the moment. It was bustling with would-be fighters here for the tournament series, ostensibly why Yayama was here herself. She'd originally come just for a chance to stretch out a bit, so to speak, testing her abilities against what would hopefully be foes that put up a real fight. A shade of a comparison to someone she knew rose in the back of her mind, only to be quashed immediately with little more than a frown to show for its fleeting presence.

The Warrior of Light was, in fact, here for the tournament, but the reasoning went deeper than that. It hadn't taken her long after arriving to hear that the Mortal Kombat dojo lived up to its name, with a reputation for losers being killed in brutal fashion. She suspected she was unlikely to uproot such an institution just by going up to it and shouting at them to quit, and her reputation as the Warrior of Light probably wouldn't hold sway. . . but she'd never been one to sit on the benefits of status, whether she had it or not. Which was why she was signed up to fight underneath that dojo's name. If she could fight under such expectations, then actively defy them, winning all the while, then she could probably get people to emulate her, and thus be slightly less likely to rip out the spines of those unfortunate enough to have participated in some recreational combat with them.

How the hells had that started in the first place, anyway?

The Lalafell shook her head, banishing that question for later. Not that she had much to do at the moment, but important things tended to rear their ugly heads sooner or later. Hefting her greatsword over one shoulder, she picked a direction at random and started walking. Surely, there would be something that needed fetching, some bandit or bauble in need of tracking down, or at the very least someone interesting to pass the time with, until such time as the tournaments were actually starting. She probably looked like a tourist, a notion that didn't particularly bother her, as it would usually lead to either kind people pointing her at something useful, or less kind people making it immediately obvious they were in need of a trouncing.

"I heard about a girl like you once. She got stabbed by a knight."

The gesture of trust wasn't lost on Hizuki. Internally, she marked this down for later; she'd have to return the favor, somehow. She didn't have many secrets, but nobody knew how her magic worked. Suki would soon, assuming that the lonely girl didn't just ignore her forever after the perceived betrayal of Haruna being Hizuki. Her reach was hesistant, and some incongruous part of her was acutely aware of putting her hand under another girl's clothes. "Swear on my life," she said, just a moment too late, in response to Kiyo's demand.

When Kiyo pushed her away, though, no more words were needed. Her wings flared bright, and a gate formed out of an azure shimmer before Daybreak flew straight through. Engines snapped into place and roared to life as Hizuki pursued at full speed. She split the evening skies in half for an instant before she was between the buildings, swerving in a wide enough arc to make the turn that the boosters mounted on her legs should have scorched walls and potentially set buildings on fire. Fortunately for Hibusa, if Evil Eye's plans for the erstwhile savior had not come to fruition quite yet, and so all they felt was the gentle warmth of sunlight.

"LET HER GO!" she shouted after the fleeing GEM as Daybreak rapidly closed the distance. "I won't let you take her away!"

Here's an initial draft.
Could I get an invite to the Discord? I want to discuss some things with regard to my character's background and feel it'd flow better in a live chat.
Do not underestimate my ability to develop unhinged OC lore.

I'll see about throwing together something this week. Yayama has a bit of a history with light-based corruption, so this ought to be interesting.
'ello folks, been looking into this game since my friend Goggy is in it. I don't suppose I could submit my Warrior of Light (who isn't actually the Warrior of Light canonically, that's her girlfriend) as a character?

"Out of the frying pan, as they say. . ."

Boleite was off before Hizuki could finish spluttering about the accusation of a crush, or respond to the idea of there being a previous light girl affiliated with the Detention Club - though it was, as was becoming a trend, another thing to think about. More to think about wasn't necessarily a bad thing for Haruna, given her current state, but it was certainly a distraction in this moment. Which was, as had also become a trend, immediately followed by another, more pressing distraction, as she received the message from Evil Eye up above. She prepared to take off, but turned to give Kaeru some parting words. "Just think about how they act before you decide whether the GEMs are good people. I'll see you later."

With that, she ascended to Evil Eye's level again, weaving through the cloud of Mogall gathering. "Where's Acid Drop? If we move quickly, we might be able to get her back before the GEMs have a chance to get back together." The tension in her posture made it clear that, if provided with a location, she was liable to immediately bolt off in that direction without a second thought, sparing no time to let the team group up. "I can handle a couple of them at least long enough to get her away." Worry suffused her voice; she didn't understand half of what was wrong with Tsubomi, but she knew enough to realize the girl was extremely vulnerable. Which was probably why she'd been targeted for this little stunt. Picking on the weak and those already in pain. Some heroes you guys are.
