Public Service Announcement: When you DM someone for an RP, show interest beyond just a hello and an offer. Offer what interested you, and perhaps something to work with beyond just stating interest.

Bio
I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.
Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Summary of class: watch Soul Eater Not episode 1.
"Kikiri? That's a pretty name. I'm Regan Hiryuu, pleased to meet you." The long-haired brunnette thinks for a moment on the question posed to her. "Erm, well, I'm from Japan, and I was raised mostly by my mother. I'm almost 15 years old, and I've been learning martial arts since I was young. If we're going to be partners, you should join me for my morning training! It'll help us get closer and stronger, right?"
Just then, the door to the classroom opens and a teacher enters. One of the ones that had been handing out nametags outside. She welcomed them officially, warned them against fast partner decisions, so on and so fourth, all wrapped up into a neat, inspiring speech.
There's a brief show from a pair of close-quarters EAT meisters, to demonstrate what can be achieved, before the brief class is dismissed.
"Oh, that seems like that's it, then... perhaps we should go find the dorms?" Regan turns from facing forward, toward the teacher, to smile again at Kikiri.

"The 'nyot' class?" Regan chuckled softly, smiling. "That's adorable, I love it." Her smile faded, however, when Kikiri said she had a partner already. However, that person didn't seem to be where she expected. "Aah... perhaps your partner has gone to the bathroom...?"
"Either way, looks like you're up for grabs!" The girl chuckled again, before extending her hand toward the meister. "If you're a meister, you'll need a weapon who'll be there when you want them to be, right? If you feel comfortable with a sword who... can't quite transform perfectly on command yet..." her confidence seemed to falter as she thought of something else, "you can count on me to be there." She finished with a smile, at least.
