Public Service Announcement: When you DM someone for an RP, show interest beyond just a hello and an offer. Offer what interested you, and perhaps something to work with beyond just stating interest.

I should use the Elite: Dangerous autopilot to do more reading.

Public Service Announcement: Please remember that this is a "give and take" hobby. We are here to write, read, and be read. All three parts are important. If you want to be read, then you should read.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Chekov's Corner Gun Store.
Serenity's eyes gaze over the various runes. So it was an ancestral possession, was it? Most intriguing, and informative. "The Kal'rik Belt? Oooh..." She watches the cloak and smiles softly as he wraps it around himself. It was a cherished possession of his, she could see. "Thank you for sharing that with me." She bows politely, her fluffy white tail swaying gently. "I have lost interested in your drum of... strange contents. Learning a little about your cloak has sated my curiosity. I thank you very much for your time and business."

An interesting man, certainly. She may have to come back some time. But, now it was time to continue on her vacation. The ship architect turns and waves over her shoulder as she leaves the store, but only after picking up the wishing paw and plant she'd just purchased. She steps out and nabs another bit of her purchased recreational product and floats it in the air next to her, doing as she did before. She has a bit of fun with the shape this time, though, weaving the smoke all around her as she inhales it.

As she walks, she realizes she's forgotten which direction the casino would be in. She was scolding herself internally for letting herself be so airheaded when she felt a large amount of infrared nearby. Some kind of really intense oven, it felt like... an incinerator? In the streets? It was around the next corner.

She stepped around and her foot nudged against something on the ground, next to the building. She looked down and moved her foot away, one ear lowering. "A gun grip?" She crouches briefly to pick it up, mumbling to herself, "blown apart... some kind of internal reaction?" She carefully felt at the bent edges of the metal piece. Some of the metal on the grip had torn as the metal had warped and was very sharp, she should be careful not to cut herself. She shrugs her shoulders and looks up. Oh, cleaning bots were here... As well as a really sophisticated robot! Her ears perk up and she bustles over. "Aah, a Ceedromian? Wooow~, it's really rare to see one of you!" She then proceeds to gush about the fine craftsmanship of his hand and arm parts, clearly crafted for precision, and what else have you.
Right.
I don't even know what district they're in, though. = w=
We should plot for Serenity and Mika to run into each other, too. :3

She may get kinda up on that cool gunslinger robot, though. She's a nerd like that.
"Two pounds." Serenity corrected, slipping the card back into her dress. "Lumina will be in touch." Sure enough, the shop keeper would receive a communications message from Serene Designs Research Vessel, Stellar Seer. The message stated that a shipping drone would be by shortly to pick up a previously placed order.

"Tell me about your cloak first, shopkeep." She suspected she might want to leave, once she learns what's in the drum. She takes another puff of the space moss she'd broken off previously, finishing the sample amount.
"Ah, mnn... no. I'll put you in touch with my ship's AI, instead. You understand. Even if it's legal here, I..." Serenity shakes her head, shuffling her shoulders slightly. "I'm just used to a more cautious procedure. As for the amount..." Crates? Goodness, she wasn't a distributor. She moves with the Shopkeeper to the altar. "Two pounds will suffice, in addition to the half ounce I'll be taking with me. Now, how able that information?" The business woman slips a finger under the hem of the chest piece of her dress, through a little window in the center showing off her cleavage, and she produces a card for payment. "What's in the drum, and what's with your cloak? You don't see runes everyday... Let's see." She starts to look a little more closely at the runes, seeing if she can pinpoint what kind of runes they are. She is a huge nerd, after all.
Oh yeah. That it does. I thought that was odd.
Oh, and. We should treat Lumina as an NPC. Unless you're encouraging us to make decisions like what's illegal where 'n stuff? 'caaause I realized I don't know if Lucky Shots treats it as an illegal substance.

I guess I could also just ask here, since that makes sense.

We should chat in here more, I think. :3
"Something like Space Weed usually isn't worth the trouble of hiding it inside of a toy bunny. I'd have to look at you weird and call you super paranoid if you did that. The secret compartment would be acceptable simply because it's cool." Aah, was it not illegal here? Asking her to sample it right in his store... Well, it wasn't surprising. The presence of the Syndicate here must provide a strong influence toward its legalization. "Here? Well, if you're alright with it, I suppose."

The woman smiles warmly and reaches into the box, pulling off a small piece and holding it up. Her eyes begin to glow softly as she shapes energy, forming two separate, small barriers to grind up the plant matter. She then merges the barriers together and sparks it with her power. Heat enough to ignite plant matter wasn't hard, especially when it burns so easily. She seems to be concentrating a bit to filter air through her barrier but nothing else. She inhales and holds, considering the product before nodding. It was satisfactory. A moment passes, and she exhales. "I'll take a half. And, uh... how much could you get me? I'd like more sent to my ship, if you could."
