Public Service Announcement: When you DM someone for an RP, show interest beyond just a hello and an offer. Offer what interested you, and perhaps something to work with beyond just stating interest.

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.
Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Aahg, zere is her German accent. It is beautiful. Not too zick, just enough to get it across. Mmm.
Uhg. She should have expected it, she supposed, but the girl addressed her by her individual name. She even spoke good Japanese! Well, without tripping over her words, anyway. The flow, if not the form. Shortly, though, the girl was crowded around by her classmates, and Regan realized they'd left the volleyball game they were about to start to investigate the new girl. And if they were going to speak in English, well... "I hate to cut zis short, but I zink ve should be getting back to our volleyball game, yes? Before ze teacher returns to scold us for chatting instead of playing yet again. I believe ze ozer team could use anozer player, Kinamoto-san, if you vould like to join us."
Hopefully, if she kept persisting with the use of her family name in addressing her, the girl would catch on. It was a habit she was sure most students would understand, since she's American, but that didn't stop it from being rude.
She got the name flip when she introduced herself, even, how does she forget to use family names? And honorifics?! Honestly... one wouldn't have been so bad without the other.
