Public Service Announcement: When you DM someone for an RP, show interest beyond just a hello and an offer. Offer what interested you, and perhaps something to work with beyond just stating interest.

I should use the Elite: Dangerous autopilot to do more reading.

Public Service Announcement: Please remember that this is a "give and take" hobby. We are here to write, read, and be read. All three parts are important. If you want to be read, then you should read.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Whoo, late night crowd. Like it.

Oh, what happened? Someone talked to Trinity? Sorry, I'll go edit for it!

"Angelo." Trinity spoke his name as greeting, though she lacked enthusiasm at his offer. "I'm... not convinced I should be the one to participate." She shook her head softly, frowning.

Karn's words of encouragement elicited a sigh from the minstrel. She slowly turns a smile and faces the youthful, feminine man. "Thank you, Karn." She hears Jarvis announce Karn, in response to Fleo's protests, but nothing to her own. Karn had alreafy addressed her concerns, she supposed. "And you can participate, too. Maybe we should team up?" She smiles calmly, though Damian decided he needed to announce something, himself.

More drama, it sounded like. She supposed that, if he really felt the need to announce something like that to the guild, the "right time" was... very specific. This was as good a time as any, but she couldn't help noticing Karn's... distress.

She reaches out a hand and lays it in his shoulder, seeing his tight grip on the edge of the table. She didn't know what happened, or just what Karn was feeling, but... he should learn to rely on her a bit more. That mysterious mage of Karn's, from before, had asked her to look after him, and she had no objections to such. He was sweet and kind and so naive, he rather needed it.

Karn excuses himself, and Trinity nods, "alright. Do what you gotta do." As she lets him wander off, her ears catch another approaching. She turns and smiles, lifting a hand. "Fleo. Lookin' for someone?" Over the last two weeks, she'd learned the names of most of her guildmates, though she hadn't necessarily spent time with them.

She turned to Angelo, an idea striking her. "Ah, maybe we should invite Fleo to train with us, too?" Since they both lacked confidence for this, maybe they could boost each other.
Oh. *edits to respond to Karn, too*

Yknow, I've been thinking Fleo and Trinity should be friends. Maybe they should team up sometime.
Uuuh, hey Zarkun. You had a little, uh
.. perspective kerfuffle at the end.of your post, there.
Trinity: *hugs Fleo* you feel as I do~
She mostly doesn't want to have to bust out her real magic and expose herself during such a high profile event.

Expose herself to what? That would be telling.
Just because Jarvis announced it doesn't mean it can't be changed. Justnleave it for now and we'll work it out.

I figured she didnt spit it on him, at least.

"I'm sure you will, Karn. Just hope you don't get pitted against a water mage..." Speakin' of water, she's thirsty. The young magess finds a nearby glass and digs out that water lacrima Jarvis gave her. She squeezes some water out of it into the glass to drink, thougb the entrance of Frenzy Plant caught her attention.

They seemed a little militaristic. With a guild master going by Colonel General Sanders and military ranks assigned besides, she didn't really have to wonder why. She watched the calmly, though she was put a little on edge by it. It only reminded her of her trip through Bosco. Not a pleasant memory... but, they seemed nice enough.

Jarvis started announcing the names for the tournament, and Trinity was drinking from her glass of water when her name was announced. Her breath catches in her throat and she swallows wrong, spitting out the sip of water she had in her mouth in a mist. She has a fit of coughs afterward, attempting to calm herself so she can protest.

She sets her glass down as she catches her breath, attempting to call up, "J-" cough cough cough, gasp, breathe breathe, "J-Jarvi-" cough cough, "mmnng! Jarvis? Me? Surely, there are other, more qualified wizards among us. Aaah, what about Karn? He's tough, right? He sounds like an excellent candidate. I... assume we are wanting to win? I mean, if not, then... no pressure, I guess." She was, in no way, good enough with Archery or Arrows magic to be competitive against what would likely be the best wizards from other guilds. Unless... Jarvis knew something?

Karn was already cheering her on, however. "Thank you, Karn, for your vote of confidence, but... do you really think I'm the right choice?"
I still need to think up the participants for Nightshade Sylphium. Uuuhg. I'll have to put some good time into that this weekend.

Meanwhile, oh man who's going for Phoenix Wiiiiing?
They were only at the door before, not inside. Trinity saw Damian open the door, but I assume she didnt have a good angle to see from.
