Public Service Announcement: When you DM someone for an RP, show interest beyond just a hello and an offer. Offer what interested you, and perhaps something to work with beyond just stating interest.

Bio
I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.
Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Again, the girl insisted on a given name basis. She'd have to confront that more directly in a minute, perhaps. For now, though, she had a question to answer. "Me?" Regan smiles softly. "I'm ze Captain of ze Kendo Club, and I maintain training in my family's school of martial arts daily. Other than zat... I read manga and enjoy spending my time in the city. I've been on a few hikes, though zey vere mostly for the purpose of training." A lot of time has been dedicated to her training. After all, she has to be ready to receive a challenger at any time, and there was no way of knowing how strong that challenger could be, or how serious they were about their challenge. She sighs softly. It was rather stressful, honestly.
She shakes her head, trying to push the thought aside. As she thinks on it, her mother must have sent her here because she worried for her daughter's social life. All that training isolated her. She couldn't let her mother send her away for nothing, knowing how much it must worry her to have Regan so far away, vulnerable. But didn't that mean she also had to train harder? Nnng...
Anyway! "You'll have to forgive me. I don't feel comfortable enough vith you to address you by your given name, and I vould prefer if you addressed me by my family name as well, Kinamoto..." She shouldn't just completely ignore the girl's wish for a little more familiarity. "...-chan. As long as we're at it, I'm sure the others feel ze same. You're American, so I suppose it can't be helped if I have to say it plainly. I vas hoping you'd be able to pick up on it, but... Given names have a certain degree of familiarity that not everyone vill be comfortable with immediately. To address somebody by zeir given name is something earned. You're very close vith someone you address in that way, almost like family. I... hope I didn't offend you by saying it so plainly..."
She takes a few bites of her curry to fill her mouth and give her an excuse for not saying anything more.
