I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.
Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Good. She's away. Kouko had glanced after the princess to ensure she was in safe hands, and she was. What came out from the other end of the strings, however, surprised her.
Puppets? Kouko dropped the wire and drew her blade quickly in response, deflecting the incoming strikes from the dual-wielding enemy she pulled into the open. Akane was able to deal with the two polearm puppets quickly enough, leaving three. She knocks the puppet pressuring her off balance and kicks it away while focusing her Ki into her sword. The sword, which resembled the night sky with its black blade and white flecks, seemed to glow with the power she pushed into it. She swings for the dual-wielding puppet, releasing the energy as she does, and cuts it in two from a short distance.
What she heard next was the crash of the ninja star puppet's weapon, which meant it had discarded the tool. An opening. She'd just have to count on Shiroko to handle the last puppet. She focuses on her new target and charges it in a flash, delivering two strikes, the first vertical, and the next horizontal. She releases on hand from the hilt of her sword and pushes it forcefully into the intersection of her strikes, Ki focused into her palm, which blows the sections apart.
"I'm moving ahead to regroup with the Princess. I trust the two of you can handle the last one remaining." Without wasting a moment's time, she runs ahead. She didn't have to restrain herself against puppets
After a moment of running through the alleyway before deciding to climb to the rooftops, Kouko was able to find the Princess and those guarding her. "Ronin! Now is not the time to stand and fight. We must leave the city quickly! We are caught within a trap; it would be best to regroup." Of course, she'd arrived too late at the selection process to really learn anyone's name, and she hadn't had a chance to give out her own, either.

Unless she went back to her room to change into a new one, she would imagined the girl would want the support. Walking around without a bra was bothersome, especially with the kind of size they have goin' on. She rubbed the side of her chest just thinking about it.
With her meal finished, the young woman rose and gathered the bandages, stowing them away in her bag, with Shinobu's bra. Her sword bag had a number of auxiliary pockets on it, since she constantly has it with her. Having it be only for her sword would be silly, if straight-forward. She slings her bag over her shoulder and gathers her tray. Well, she hoped the girl would get over it, at least. King was cute, and she appreciated her strange accent. It was comforting, in a way.
But... "King-san... if you don't want people to think or treat you like an idiot, you shouldn't go around addressing people like you /are/ one." Not like the girl could hear her, though. What word is Haru using for "ma'am", or did you give it that much thought? 'cause "ma'am" makes me think "oba-san", which is aunt, and is used to refer to a grown woman who's name you don't know.
