Public Service Announcement: Roleplay is a hobby about writing, but further about writing together. This means that communication is critical. Be sure to express yourself politely to new acquaintances

Public Service Announcement: When you DM someone for an RP, show interest beyond just a hello and an offer. Offer what interested you, and perhaps something to work with beyond just stating interest.

Public Service Announcement: Please remember that this is a "give and take" hobby. We are here to write, read, and be read. All three parts are important. If you want to be read, then you should read.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Nightshade Sylphium

"No one's found Ryan yet?" Vanilla Lane was a woman with a sweet tooth. Currently, she had her fingers entwined with a candy cane, lightly nibbling at the end of the red and yellow candy. She'd sculpted a throne for herself out of snow, and was sitting sideways in a fluffy armchair. Well, it started as an armchair. It swiftly turned into a beanbag chair, to support her slouching. She'd just had an exchange with Kracko, leaving Vanilla with a box labeled Lefty's Cigarettes. She was smoking one.

The two dark wizards had found themselves an unoccupied building on the outskirts of the city. Well, the three of them did, really, but Kracko was outside, listening carefully from the roof.

"No. Kracko says she hasn't been able to find him, either. She's out now."

"It's hard to think someone could hide him from her. Says she can feel the electricity in your heart..." Ms. Lane gave a shudder.

"Someone could shield against magic. Or..."

"He's not dead, don't be silly." Vanilla gave the man a stare like he was stupid, eliciting a sigh from Lucius Milan. She got like this, sometimes. "We had to split, but we saw him get off. That woman was coming."

Lucius sat back in the chair he'd found himself, thoughtful. "Right. You said she fought you and Ryan, no trouble." He thought about it for a moment and then grinned, flexing his shoulders. "But, y'know, if it's the three of us, I think we might stand a chance. Kracko and I could take her while you freed Ryan, and then we'd be able to take her down!"

"Wh- hey! Am I not enough help?" Vanilla sat up, striking the back of her beanbag throne with her fist.

Ah, he found a button. "Ah, no, I just thought your talents would be better suited to, y'know, rescuing Ryan, not fighting that sword lady you're so scared of."

"You're saying I'm weak."

He totally was. "Nooo, I'm just-"

They both stopped when lightning flashed by the doorway, with an announcing Kra-CKO. Stephani Niles entered.

"Kracko." Lucius spoke. He looked at her thoughtfully, wondering just how to approach it. She knew what he was going to ask, but was letting him speak first.

Vanilla spoke first. "Have you found him yet?"

"No. I can't find any trace of him. Unless he's been taken to a high security place I can't reach, like inside the castle or-"

"Then go there! You can move quietly if you try, I've seen it. Sneak in and find him. Security might even be lighter during the games."

Kracko sighed, looking to Lucius, who gave her a nod. She turned and left, and Lucius rose to leave after her.

"Where are you going?" Vanilla wasn't expecting Lucius to go anywhere in daylight into the city, with their cover blown. Crashing an airship into the city wasn't good publicity, either.

"I want to make sure she's doing what we think she's doing. I'll be back once I know."

"You aren't making me go?"

Lucius turned only slightly to gaze over his shoulder at Vanilla Lane, already standing in the door, ready to walk through and close it again. He eyed the box currently laying on her stomach. "Would you, if I asked?"

Miss Lane just laughed once, in response, before going back to her candy and vice.
It is... awe inspiring, how awed he is.

I think Lucius and Vanilla are going to turn into Team Rocket.

Pfffff shit, I need to find their colors again.
Hat, I still love your sig gif.
Do we have any characters name Lucius? 'Lezuro' was just a lazy attempt to cover up the fact I forgot we already had a Lazarus. = w=

Lucius Milan sounds pretty good, though.
Private Durandal

Her form was interrupted, as the Sergeant called their attention. They were going to flank the enemy formation, distracting them with their new tank to do so. It put the tank at a little risk, but they should be able to strike before that became a problem. They'd use the APC to come in from the side... maybe she could lay low and fire from the back of it? The large ballistic weapon she'd left in the APC felt oddly familiar to hold at her side. If she thought about it, it didn't make sense. If she'd been doing this for a while, though, it would.

She had to keep reading the journal. The more she read it, the more she felt like she didn't want to reach the end of it, which made her want to stop. It was a sense of forboding, like she knew what was going to happen.

But now wasn't the time to think about it. She had to get ready for their maneuver. He said they'd approach on foot, so she should ask about it, first. "Sir." Regan spoke first, before continuing, "I could ride in the back with my mortar lance. If I lay low, they shouldn't be able to hit me, and I'll only have to stand to return fire. Maybe tell me where to shoot before I get up?"
Hadouken.

I might post for Nightshade Sylphium tonight or tomorrow. Sunce I've still got nothing else.
Yknow, I look outside at night and I look at the street lights and stuff, and I think "damn! The sun is bright."
Noooo, not my roll! You bastard, that was my cinnamon roll. ;.;
I'm not giving you both "role"s.
