Bio
I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.
Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Solya smiles and greets the fairies as they gather, waving and smiling kindly. She even curls her tail around to offer it to them as a bench, of sorts. "My, my, you're all so energetic. Hello~" The golden fairy had come to join them, as well, and the woman turned greet her. "Hello, little one." She smiles and nods, her own fairy soon fluttering back to her side and perching on her shoulder. As she looked around, it seemed as though a small crowd was gathering here. Perhaps they'd end up as a larger group? As long as everyone had a buddy, at least.
"Well, this seems like a nice group, doesn't it? As long as we're all gathered here, perhaps you'd all like to pick an exhibit to start from? Feel free to flag me down if you have any questions. Ah, here... I'll let your fairies have Lumina's contact file." She smiles at the gathered group of girls. Quite the variety of personalities. A Sound fairy, too? Quite the interesting crowd, indeed.
The fairy smiles softly and flutters forward, off of Solya's shoulder. The first one she approaches is Narciss, since Foress seemed to be the leader of this group, one way or another. They just had to exchange magic signatures, and they'd be able to communicate as long as they were in range.

4.) Also, this last one is more of a curiosity question: How do people get their fairies anyway?
1.) There is one more continent, and that's to the south east. Marglen, characterized by lots of volcanic activity. Did I mentioned Var'Cel floats?
2.) On Garmal, it's a lot of flatland type life. You got some big cats on the border of the central desert and the forested mountain, you've got your farm animals in the prairies and stuff. Most animals don't have anything supernatural going on about them, but some have gained magical power by eating fairies.
4.) They're introduced at a young age. It's kind of a mix between Pokemon and the Kokori. At a very young age, they're introduced. It isn't so much a selection as it is a first meeting.

That was the first challenger down. Five hits in her favor, and none made against herself. A sound victory for Regan, and she didn't even look like she'd broken a sweat. She'd need it, however, the way she'd let the challenge her. They only have to get five hits on her collectively before they win their challenge. But, even if they managed that...
Her next opponent took her place. She looked confident, if slightly anxious. The sound defeat of the previous challenger seemed to be getting to her, but only a little. She hoped Regan was more worn out than she let on. The sounds of their duels echoed against the relative silence surrounding them, the sounds of parrying and their voices as they strike.
