Public Service Announcement: When you DM someone for an RP, show interest beyond just a hello and an offer. Offer what interested you, and perhaps something to work with beyond just stating interest.

Public Service Announcement: Please remember that this is a "give and take" hobby. We are here to write, read, and be read. All three parts are important. If you want to be read, then you should read.

Bio

I'm a generally chill gomboblin that can be kinda particular. I grew up with plenty of electronics and video games, mostly with games like Final Fantasy, Zelda, and StarCraft. Lots of Nintendo. Dark Cloud is pretty sick. That's a lot of variety, and I do like to play a lot of different games. I like to blend magic and technology in my writing, bringing fantasy into space and sci-fi.

Magic in space is something that I find isn't done very much. Airships and spaceships could make for some cool centerpieces. Skies of Arcadia did a fantastic job of this. Perhaps that's not in space, exactly, but it's pretty close. Some of those ships may as well be space ships.

Kouko sheathed her sword as she saw their combat come to an end. The beads were the answer, as her first instinct had told her. She'd have to keep that in mind, when next they found themselves faced with such entities. That would prove to be valuable information. She watches as the two creatures gather themselves, moving to stand by Mizuki's side. "Princess, are you unharmed?" It didn't seem like she'd been seriously injured this time, either, which was fortunate... Though, another of them seemed to have sustained some injuries. Hanami, as well. The priestess's injury made her the most nervous, but she could probably heal herself... right?

The Gods introduced themselves before them, and Kouko's attention was caught. Sword god? She steps before the guardian and kneels, taking her sword from her waist and laying on the ground in front of her. "Tachigami-sama. I wonder if you might know the location of this sword's sheath. No other sheath will fit it." If she could find an answer or a lead here, it might fall along the path of their collective quest.

"Well..." Solya raised an eyebrow as she watched Alex, before her attention turned back to the fairy on her shoulder. "You've got your work cut out for you, Saki. It's good to see you get along with her so well, though." She smiles and settles the fire fairy onto her shoulder. "Here, I'll give you Lumina's magic signature." For a moment, Solya and Saki form a small magic 'link', for private communication. Basic information about Lumina (magic frequency, identification sequence) is exchanged, before the connection is concluded.

Solya must be really close to her fairy, if the former has ready access to magic like that, and communication protocols.

"If she ever gives you any trouble, I'll see if I can't figure out some way to help, ok?" With that, she turns to the rest of the gathered group. "Enough standing around, whatever the c-"

The lights suddenly shut off.

"... Power outage...?" She frowns softly to herself as Lumina floats toward her, showing her holographic screens of data and analysis.
Just like that, that's right... she could feel it. The sacred power that had been charged in to her sword. With no will to hold it in place, it was quickly escaping. If that's the problem, then she should try something. She closes her eyes and focuses deeply, drawing out her own Ki and carefully, carefully wrapping it around the sacred power Hanami had focused into her sword. That should be enough to wrap the sacred power into the blade.

"Thank you very much for your gift, Miko-san." With that, she makes a charge. She rushes to the ox, and Mizuki's side. She'd managed to topple the creature, but struggled to grasp the beads. "Hime-sama, allow me. Please keep the creature still." She attempts to aling the tip of her sword with one of the beads. Perhaps she could use the Priestess's sacred power and her sword to purify the beads.
In character or not, Silver might have more planned with the Ox than just this. And you also shouldn't autohit.

And who's to say that would be enough to fell it?
I'll put up another post soon, but I would hope some of the other thread participants would post soon, too.
Kouko groaned inwardly as the princess ran ahead. Dammit, girl! Even if you can handle yourself, don't go running off...! Kouko was gard-pressed to keep up with that kind of speed, but she would manage. Those were quite the curious animals that were attacking, however. With more of those troublesome beads, even! She didn't want to let Mizuki hand it yet again, but other methods had proven themselves less than effective. Now was not the time to be experimenting.

When she arrived on the scene someone else had already gone to Mizuki's aid. Good. Especially seeing as the Priestess was injured. "Miko-chan." The little woman jumps down from a rooftop nearby, drawing her sword slowly after she landed. "You shouldn't agitate a gash like that. Certainly not with the stress of archery. Do you think you could, instead... charge my sword?" She holds her dominant sword arm out, eyes watching the Ox and never leaving it. She hoped the Priestess would at least be able to power her sword the way she does her arrows...
