Current Played VA-11 Hall-A and I didn't realize that a bartending game could give me such an epiphany about my life, to be perfectly honest.

Orthodox Easter has arrived, which means my time for replying to stuff is going to be close to nonexistent. I apologize.

Bio

Well hello, what are you doing here, my friend?

Well, if you're still here and you wish to know more about me, then:

I'm a 22 fella who's currently in college and is trying to RP while attending college at the same time. I've been into roleplaying since about the mid 2013's, though I was really bad at it during the first year or so. I "migrated" to RPGuild around 4 years ago since the previous site had banned roleplaying due to a large influx of newbie roleplayers polluting the site with shitty RP's. Either way, since then I've been on this site quite regularly, except during a few occasions when real life took precedence and I had to vanish for a month or two.

As for writing capabilities, I'd like to think myself right now that I'm somewhere in-between casual and advanced levels of writing, though if I'm really into an RP, I'll tend to force myself to write something advanced. As for writing in general, you don't have to worry about that, I really love writing and I do it all the time even when I'm not roleplaying, though there are "dry" periods when my creativity seems to vanish for no discernible reason. General interests include most types of fantasy writing as long as it's properly written, though it has happened in the past for me to be interested in something when I thought I would like it, so if you have an idea and you want to roleplay, then pitch it to me and I'll tell you if I like it or not. As for smut, well, I'm not actively looking for one, but if you think you have an interesting idea, then feel free to pitch it to me.

Well, that's about it, if you want to know more personal stuff about me, or simply wish to have someone to talk to about any topic you so desire, then feel free to PM me.

Well then, this actually sounds very intriguing, I'm joining this!
"No!" Saxan said when he heard that Kismet wanted to go with none other than Tam, the person he trusted the least around women, especially one he held close to. However, he realized he spoke without even thinking, so he quickly tried to conjure something up, something that would not be a lie or anything of the sort, but it would serve as a proper explanation for his outburst... and all he could come up with was the pure truth.

He took a deep breath to calm himself and began once again speaking. "I am sorry for that outburst, I truly am, however, my friend Tam here is quite the ladies man and though I trust him keeping many of secrets and around many things, I do not trust him around beautiful women." He said, not even realizing that he had just called Kismet beautiful. He turned towards the people around him and bowed in apology to them, before turning towards Tamarack. "I'm sorry for that, Tam, I truly am." he said a bowed before his friend as well.

Then, he turned towards the group once more. "I say we do split up, but if we split up, I cannot leave Tam alone, he'll probably get into some trouble and I'll have to get him out of it. So, here's how I propose we do it. Lord Beaudric, you take sir Durwith here and consult yourself once more with the heads of the two houses to find out more about both the people we're trying to find. Meanwhile, me, Tam and Kismet here, will go first to guard, and if that does not yield any results, we'll go talk to..." he turned towards Tam as he continued speaking "... the people from the other walks of life. What do you say?"

"My pleasure, my lady." He said, nodding towards the princess and walking by her and Maryvale's side. The two warriors part of his retinue moved in front of them to guard them, despite the palace probably being the safest place they could be in right now, the two were still on the alert even now.

As they were walking, he turned towards Maryvale with a sly smile. "Yes, Marcus is a great warrior, I don't deny that, but I seem to remember that for the past few times the two of us trained, I tried teaching you to try and not get hit in the first place. You don't seem to have followed through on my lessons very well, have you?" he asked with a rather amused expression. "Still, you must be very careful, in real combat, even one hit could make the difference and kill you." His expression hardened slightly as they walked, even so, there was still a slight smile on face.

However, when they reached the palace entrance, they saw a man dressed in odd garbs being dragged out by force out of the palace. Illayrion said nothing as the princess read the letter out loud, then asked the apothecary before them for his credentials as a form of proof that the man's skills were good enough to serve the Royal Family. However, as the man started to speak of his deeds and promoting his skills, Illayrion did not pay attention the man for the most part.

He instead furrowed his brows as the princess had read the letter out loud. This man had been hired to attend to Maryvale and the Princess should they get harmed in this expedition. That meant that both the princess and Maryvale would fight in this war. While he was worried about Maryvale, he knew her capable to handle combat and she would desensitize herself to the carnage of war in time, however, not only was princess Azmyn not skilled in combat, he doubted that she would be able to handle all the blood and carnage that war represented.

And even with Maryvale by her side, it would take only one stray bolt to kill her, or if the enemy found out who she was, it would be an assassins bolt that would kill her. The king had gone mad, and Lenius was even madder for accepting this mad proposition, surely they could see the danger that this would mean for the princess.

Unless...

As he came to again, the apothecary was still rambling on about his credentials. However much he wished to simply leave the man behind here with the guards, if the princess was truly going to war, then she would need an apothecary like this man.

"Arion, Syrael, take this raving fool with us, our dear Grand Marshal will have to confirm if this man is truly the one he sent for... among other more important things!" He said, with a visibly annoyed expression on his face. "My lady, we'll have to hurry to the armory, and then we'll have a long discussion with Grand Marshal Lenius about..." He wanted to say "his and the king's idiocy" before he was able to stop himself. "... things!" he said through gritted teeth.

The two people part of his retinue pushed past the palace guards and each clamped a hand on Pox's wrists like two vices and dragged the man alongside, or rather behind the group as they advanced onwards to the armory.
@ShwiggityShwah

Sure that works for me! Though if it would make Pox feel better, it isn't because of his speech that he's being aggressive, it's because he's a bit angry after having a minor revelation...
@ShwiggityShwah

Hold on for a moment, don't go crazy just yet. Do you think we could do a brief collab with this, my character might order that your guy be dragged along in the middle of his speech... what do you say?
"Actually, I'm fairly new to the town, Tam and I'm not with the garrison, I receive my orders directly from the military command back in the capital. He said, making sure to correct his friend. "I have met the captain of the city guard to announce my passing throughout the city, so yes, we could go to them... He said, now turning towards Lord Beaudric. "... and I believe we should, I imagine that not only would they know the town, but I also imagine that this isn't the first time that the two families have argued before, so, they're bound to know something about them."

Normally, he would have allowed Kismet to introduce herself to Tam, however, he didn't trust the young rogue around beautiful women, especially one he considered close. "This is Blue Kismet, cleric of Veldir, I've talked about her before, she's the one who saved me when I served in the wars in the colonies. Though we've been separated for a while, we've formed quite the bond, especially since I owe her my life." He said, now turning towards Kismet to introduce Tam. "Kismet, this is Tamarack Vanna, you can call him Tam for short. He and I are childhood friends who've recently refound one another and though he's been helping me a bit, I think I've spent more time helping him. He said, making sure not to tell the people there of his friends criminal past.
It was a little annoying for Saxan that everyone but he got a proper look at the letter, though from the little he noticed of the writing and of the letter itself, it was possible that the girl was forced to write the letter under duress, maybe having been threatened by the young noble himself before he kidnapped her, maybe with the help of some hired guards or such.

As Kismet spoke, it only served to reinforce his train of thought, the boy probably forced her to write the letter before kidnapping her. He now wished that he had not chased the two nobles away, he might have found out a bit more information about both of the people involved in this mess. "Kismet makes a point, though judging from the paper, I think one kidnapped the other, more specifically, I believe that young Lord Eric Hyde forced lady Sheila to write this letter before kidnapping her." He announced to the group, despite he himself not wishing to jump to quickly to this conclusion. "However, we must find proof of this before we jump to conclusions."

With that, he turned towards everyone there to what they thought of the idea. "So, what do you all think this?"
Hold on, is this RP still alive?
"True enough, Kismet, though the last time we spoke, it was but a brief discussion before both our jobs took us in different directions." he said, shaking his head a bit as he had to focus on the mission at hand, he would solve the situation with Kismet at a later date, they had more pressing issues at the moment. "We will talk about this after we solve this job, ok?" he said nodding towards her before turning towards everyone else only to find his friend Tamarack Vanna had already caught up with him.

He enjoyed the presence of the rogue, however, he tended to get in trouble quite often, especially since he was not officially part of the army and it often fell to him to get his friend out of trouble, mostly using his station as an officer in the army to get his name cleared and now, he had almost just attempted to steal the note that was given to the priestess.

"My lady priestess, my good friend here means well I can assure you, however, I must ask that you give me the note." He said, extending one of his hands towards the priestess to receive the note. "As a military official and peacekeeper, it is my duty to solve such issues and by Veldir, I will solve this issue."

However, as he waited for the note to be handed to him another person popped up and one he recognized and respected. "Lord Andhere, it is an honor to see you again and I know I've bothered you a lot about this, but I still cannot thank you enough for what you did for me, you saved my life and my job!" Saxan felt half inclined to bow down before Beaudric, however, they were in public and he had to maintain appearances at the moment, so he only nodded towards the noble to show his respect.

Upon the somewhat begrudging offer of the dwarf to help them in this job, Saxan nodded. "Your help is greatly appreciated in this mission of ours." He said and though he was slightly suspicious of the dwarfs intentions, he appreciated all of this sudden help.

Illayrion frowned as he and his small retinue rode through the streets of the capital. Even though neither the king or the Grand Marshal had informed anyone that they were going to war, it didn't take a military genius to realize that Kron-Nesis was preparing for war, however, he questioned the logic of the king. How different would it be from the skirmishes in the mountains now, neither side would have the advantage and the war would end in a bloody stalemate, decided only by attrition rather than actual war, unless...

His frown grew even more as he realized the possibilities and if he were honest, he liked these as much as he like the war in the mountains idea. The most viable of these solutions would be to circumvent the mountains entirely and pass through Eamonvale, that in itself posed more problems than it did solutions. Eamonvale had been very much hostile to them and unless the king planned to declare war towards Eamonvale as well, there was not much that he could do to be able to pass through their territories.

The retinue that accompanied him walked silently as they followed him, his Ravenguard, as he called them. Currently formed only out of his companions from his previous mercenary company, he planned to expand it by introducing veterans from the men that his holdings could muster, though since that number was zero at the moment, he had to make due with what he had at the moment.

Illayrion looked on at the palace proper and where one might have been awed by the size and beauty of it, he simply glanced at it and kept walking, he had been in courts all over the continent and though Kron-Nesis was arguably one of the strongest and richest kingdoms, he had seen courts far more beautiful, far more decorated than this one. He simply nodded to the palace guards as he was allowed entry inside and went to search his dear friend, the Grand Marshal throughout the entirety of palace itself.

However, as he walked through the corridors of the palace, he ran into the Marble Princess Azmyn and her bodyguard, Maryvale. His frown evaporated as he saw them, partly because he had to be respectful to royalty and partly because he was quite pleased to see the young knight once again.

"My Princess, it is an honor." Both he and his retinue knelt before the princess for a few moments before rising back to their feet. "And Maryvale, it is great to see you as well. Though might I ask where you have all of these bruises, because if you tell me from fighting, then I'll be disappointed in you." he asked smiling towards her, however, he shook his head, though he liked Maryvale, he had more pressing issues at the moment. "Anyway, do you know where your father is at the moment?" he asked "He and I have some pressing issues to discuss at the moment."
