Sorry for my absence! A Volunteering position suddenly turned into a Volunteer Leadership position I was not expecting at all so things have been hectic.

Look at you posers, having to bang dragons or sell your soul for magic when you could just play a lute for some. Anyways, here's Wonderwall. - Bards

Alright, fixed my post and @Krazzydragon stop lurking, you have been noticed by sempai, come join us once more into the breech.
>Shrugs

TO be honest I don't worry that much. I just suspect we will have a good deal of trouble trying to take down something like the Shogun Executioner or the London Monitor that I suggested a few posts back and you said might show up.

I guess that why we'll be upgrading our NCMs for that occasion though.
Weight ups isn't just 'everything ups', you basically trade mobility and possible stealthiness for more guns and armor, so as long as you don't like, hug them or something and try to make sure they can't lock on for too long (so they can't fire too many missiles), (Which with Jeanne's training you'd definitely know already IC) you should be fine.

You know there's a reason why modern militaries favor heavy and main battle tanks right? It doesn't matter how fast you are, once you get into a prolonged fight, there's only two things the NCM can do to not get you killed: not fucking itself up by overloading and having enough armor to protect it you can't do it for the NCM.

I'm in the process of redoing my post atm and @Eklispe you might want to do the same seeing as we both messed up the context
I just noticed something that worries me a little. All of us are using light/superlight NCMs but Chiyome and the Himiko. Wouldn't we get completely fucked if we met a force of heavy or even just normal assault NCMs?
Zhang smiled as he held up a hand to stop the doctor from buying him a drink, "The party will provide for the people, it only request assistance and service from them when called upon."

He walked over to the bar and flagged the bartender, "Two drinks comrade. One for me and one my new friend Dr. Mathias."

After some walking about and the clinging of some bottles, the man produced two bottles of Nuka-Cola which Zhang thanked and paid him for as he passed one to Mathis. He pretended to ignore the man as he began to count the caps, hoping that he wouldn't get greed and tell him there was a new tax for the drink or something like that. Opening his own first, he held it up and said "To the people." before beginning to drink it down, taking a seat at the bar with his back against the wood. He looks at Mathis and he still holds his bottle unopened, "Do you wish to have alcohol comrade?"

As he went in for another sip, he nearly slipped it as blue flaming mist swept by him from one of his neighbors, some of it managed to get on to him as started a small fire which he had to vigorously pat down. Glaring at the brown haired man trying to impress a lady, Zhang tapped him on the shoulder, "Do you mind not trying to burn down this place? If you really want to destroy capitalistic creations, the party welcomes your attempts."

He stared the boy in the eyes with blacks eye strained and hardened by pre-war military training and comic books, ignoring the bartender's glares due to his comment about setting his business on fire.
"Bitch, stay the fuck away from my coffee unless you want it in your eye."

Oops... I didn't know. Are we still all in the base prepping to launch? And you should probably wait on writing the action post until everyone has launched more or less unless it doesn't actually involve HS.
Edoric snapped awake, immediately starting pre-launch checks and talking to the control room. Going through the systems one at a time, checking with what the control room's console said. He managed to find a rare desynconization with the fourth hydro-coil and the fuel injection dilator. He would have to yell at the repair team later but for now he watched as they rushed to his NCM to fix the problem.

As they cleared the area, making gestures that meant he was good to go, Edoric helped himself with launching first to scout a head. Connecting to the control center, he cracked his wrists, "Control, this is Unit 03 Phantom Zero requesting launch."
"Acknowledged Phantom Zero, proceed to rail 4 after release."
"Copy," Edoric began to hit several switches and buttons as he prepared to undock, "All systems green, releasing now."

With that, the restraints on his NCM released, the catwalk in front of him retracted into one of the main walks that connected the hangar with the rest of the base. Cables and pipes unplugged and went limp as they too coiled back into their holes as the final crane set the mech on the ground.

Gripping the control, Edoric felt the Phantom Zero pound the earth with every step it took. Lining itself up with the electromagnetic rails, the feet clamped on to the bars as Edoric positioned the NCM like a runner about to burst forward.

"Ladies and Gentlemen," he drew in a breath, "Its a showtime." The rails charged as the clamps dropped, shooting the Phantom Zero on to the surface where with the help of rocket anchors, Edoric dashed into the horizon, first on the ground.

"Hmph! Edo-chan is so mean!" Chiyome pouted as her own controls, "I want to go too! Can I launch now? Pleaseeeeee?"

Jeanne smacked her head, Chiyome was probably one of the least trustworthy pilots she had ever seen in terms of realbitly off the battlefield, acting like a child or an annoying sister all the time. With a hand still over her head, she raised Chiyome on the comms, "You can launch when everyone else is launching. If you want you can go after Nine."

Chiyome's face lit up, "Thank you, thank you, thank you Jeanies!"

Jeanne smacked her head on the control panel, "Don't call me that!"

Unfortunately for her, Chiyome already shut off her comms to her specifically and was going through her own pre-launch checks while singing a song to herself.
Alright, here's my attempt at using the system VK made. I'm using a ten-scale since its simpler.

Rivet Gun Specs:

DMG: 6/10 (Might take a bit to drop someone)
CAP: 7/10 (Plenty of rivets = plenty of death)
ALT: 5/10 (It can go boom)
ROF: 8/10 (Spray and Pray and Kill)
REL: 8/10 (So simple a necromorph could do it. Hopefully they don't)
