anybody want a fighter pilot on their crew?
I can see your and my characters getting along decently well. If'n you're up for spreading chaos and discord in the enemy ranks then welcome aboard the John P. Decatur
Commodore, are you looking for a second in command?
If you've got a raider's talents I'm sure something can be arranged.

@Pepperm1nts You aren't imposing at all m80. I'm just spitballing stuff, it could be an old holdover title from the imperial era or something. If a King rules many worlds then it comes down to the scale of things really. The scale of the barony is still totally open to change.
All of my posts here are vastly superior to the ones in the main RP. And I post here more often. And my species here is actually somewhat interesting. Argument = Invalid.
Sorry oh Keyguy-senpai, I did not mean to insult our glorious lord, just casually noting a slowdown of posting by people
Well I've got a Baroness who rules a a continent sized chunk of a world (which I still need to send to Flagg btw)
Can't help but feel that everybody who has a nation in the main Stardust has quietly abandoned this.
I may have gone crazy on the personal history part. Yeah, think I totally did. Ship Name: John P. Decatur Ship Type: Indoril class strike cruiser (Aryon class variant) Semi-Sentience Profile: WIP Ship Details/History: The Indoril class are not a unique class of ship but are instead a heavy modification of the existing Aryon design. The first Indorils were made from Aryons pulled from front line service due to damage too extreme to be simply repaired. Instead of being broken up, some of the more better off vessels were heavily refit into a class of super-heavy raiders - population: 23,000 (slightly higher than an Aryon) -
- primary weapons/fleet function: The Decatur was one of the first Indoril class ships 'built' during the Jihad and therefore is less standardized than later additions to the line. Two of the Back-breaker cannons were removed entirely from the ship, and were instead replaced with larger hangar bays and more reaction mass allowing for greater strategic range and a worthwhile strike craft compliment. The removal of the massive guns also freed up reactor energy for an additional battery of plasma artillery along each broadside. - marine contingent details: Much of the marine compliment of the John P. Decatur are fearsome Gn'Mok shock troopers in order to further the Shock and Awe value of the ship. With several thousand marines at its disposal the Decatur can even launch raids onto terrestrial targets if simple orbital bombardment is out of the question. - strikecraft contingent details: The John P. Decatur carries a compliment of fifty Archangel fighter bombers, a dozen Impi assault shuttles, and a trio of cutters. Wasn't sure if these ships are full 40k tier huge populations so I just cut the population of an Imperial cruiser of this size in half as a solid guestimate then dropped it some more.
This sounds super rad, mind if I make a CS?

Awful lotta wall sits. If nothing else our party will have some pretty spectacular quads.

Djonn raised an eyebrow at the steady flow of other White guards who had begun to congregate outside. The two new arrivals took some of the fritters off of his hands and Djonn grabbed the last and ate it himself. Dusting off his hands and stowing his handkerchief he gave them a once over. The big one with the fancy beard he recognized as Marcel R-something, a large and strong guardsman but there was something wrong with one of his hands. The other he immediately recognized for the red sash around his waste. He was one of the Scarlet Ravens, their leader if he remembered correctly. The Ravens weren't exactly known for their good natures but last Djonn had heard this fellow had purged them of their less desirable ranks. They had to have been worth something to become a chapter of the White Guard so Djonn supposed he wasn't someone to worry too much about. Still there was something about the man that didn't jive properly with Djonn that he could not put his fingers on. Hoping to break the awkward silence Djonn decided to force some form of conversation. "Well look at that, it seems quite a few of us aren't the party type. Perhaps The Captain is trying to subtly purge the old, inexperienced, and the unfun at the same time with this job," dropping into a more serious yet still casual tone he continued, "I've been informed by the Captain that I'll be the highest ranked officer on this mission so I suppose that means I'm something resembling 'in charge' of you people for the coming days. You seem like a solid bunch and I look forward to serving alongside you and the others, pleasure cruise or otherwise. I have only one ground rule to making sure this run goes smoothly my comrades: Don't die on me. "
