@Sylph Since questions are being asked, I might as well join in. I was just wondering, is there any known scholarly institutions for those who choose to study non-magical arts? Maybe a guild for alchemy, herbalism, or anything medicinal? Or am I free to just contribute and make my own? Thanks!

@Jacobite lol you do have a point.

Anyway, just wanted to flesh out my character concept and get some comments to make sure I'm not doing anything that wrong. I'm going for a middle-aged physician/scholar who focuses on medicinal arts who's regretful of the career path he had went with. Unfortunately, wealth and health didn't go hand in hand. To make up for lost time, he wants to travel on the North Wind to search for materials and ingredients he could use to create novel medicinal products. And maybe, if it exists, the legendary Panacea. He plans to sell everything though.
@olcharlieboi I was thinking that her quirk was a coalition of two compatible quirks instead of just being two different quirks. Anyway, do I have to mention it in the CS? The term just doesn't sound that nice. I think they called it Hybrid or Composite Quirks in the manga, but still doesn't have a nice ring to it. Could I forego that since I already mentioned in the CS that Mei's quirk is a combination of her parents'? It'll force people to read my entire CS and just not her quirk.
Aside from humans, are there any other known races? Or at least are there any we could choose from?
@NightmareInd Honestly, you let out more force when you sneeze as compared to blowing, but changed it anyway to "massive sneeze covered half her classroom in a layer of ice". Better? You could just assume that it was a thin layer of ice and the only reason hypothermia was an issue was because they were extremely young (preschool? kindergarten?), so they're more vulnerable to rapid changes in temp.

@olcharlieboi Her quirk is a combination of her parent's quirk. Her physique is mainly from her father (he's a 10 foot tall sasquatch) while her cold internal temperature and ability to blow that out stems from her mother's quirk (I guess frost breath?).

Interested as well.
Only thing missing is the Hero Outfit, which I have no idea on!

Welcome to the world of NO MORE HEROES!

As you may already know, this RP was mainly inspired by Boku No Hero Academia. However, the premise that the plot will be based on will differ quite a bit. Slightly distancing myself from the shonen-like aspect of the series, my goal is to incorporate more serious themes while maintaining a certain degree of quirkiness within the story that we'll be playing out.

Basically, the RP will be taking place around several decades after All Might's death. Do note that I'm not going to be that particular, at least for now, with the events that took place prior to the start of the RP. However, I'll try to answer as much questions as I can and explain whatever inquiries you guys have since this thread will basically function as an interest thread and a place were commonly asked questions are gonna pop up before we actually make an OOC thread.

Hopefully, we get enough interest in this since I'm all hyped up by the anime's new season! Currently doing a lot of brainstorming and research, so expect some updates from time to time.

Introduction

It all began in China, in Qingqing City. There was news that a baby that gave off light was born. Ever since then, superpowers were discovered in various places, and time passed without the cause being identified. The world had become a superhuman society, and about majority its population possessed some kind of special trait. In such a world swirling with chaos, the profession that everyone once dreamed about and admired, came into the limelight.

Heroes from all over had suddenly emerged, purging the world of crime and injustice, ushering it into an era of peace. Unfortunately, sooner or later, it eventually had to end; lawfulness and order could only last for so long. For several decades, Toshinori Yagi - more commonly known as All Might - was recognized by all as being "The Symbol of Peace". It came to no surprise that upon his death, the pillar that held and supported both heroes and the society, had crumbled. Although many tried to take his place and attempted to bear the responsibilities that he once did, none came close to succeeding.

With the threat of All Might no longer being an issue, new waves of outlaws and villains ravaged the country of Japan like never before. Frightened with the changes in time, eventually, a mutual agreement among heroes and the government was established. A nation-wide initiative was made to unify all hero-related academies, universities, and agencies, into a single organization referred to as the Bureau of Counter Crime (BBC).

The current trend of villainy, crazed by greed, aggression, and conquest, has made the days of heroes and vigilantes non-existent. Now under a single banner, these super-powered individuals are tasked with the sole responsibility of protecting the public and restoring peace in Japan through any means necessary.

Premise

Now 30 years into the future, you find yourself within the ranks of BBC, an uprising organization that has only existed for just over a decade. Members of the BBC range from former pro-heroes, ex-vigilantes, reformed criminals, government officials, and other individuals from all walks of life who have banded together to achieve one common goal; to prevent Japan from plunging into complete chaos. Your role in this story is to play as a freshly enlisted recruit who will eventually rise through the ranks of the organization. Hopefully, you would be able to contribute to the restoration of peace throughout Japan or at least make a name for yourself in the process.

Character Sheet

For uniformity-sake, make use of the format I've given down below. But if you think you can improve the CS format, go for it; just don't stray to far from it. Nothing makes you want to read more than character sheets that are pleasing to the eye.
