3 Tzi is like, six metres, and in an area like this it should defs stand out, yeah?
No hot sauce for me tomorrow.

Also, it's fine if Tzi could catch a glimpse of the thing, or is that too fast?
TZI TI'AMTUM

"Getting cash or just taking out a bigwig for the politics, huh?" offered the tall young man. "Yeah, there's loads that they could ..."

That bloodcurdling scream. An inhuman noise that sent pinpricks of lightning down his spine. Tzi Ti'amtum whipped his head around in the direction of the ruins, his one visible eye widening in shock and surprise upon hearing something so ... inhuman. Unnatural. A sound accompanied by terror and chaos, echoing through the ruins with a vigour he never would've thought possible. He'd heard a lot of screams before. The others probably had too. But that sound ... he couldn't describe it. He didn't know what could've been responsible for it. But ...

"That can't be natural," he had to say, his voice low. "No way that's natural."

Signing up with the Empire had promised some real queer stuff, but this ...

Tzi Ti'amtum had absolutely no idea what it was.

"Don't worry." The eyepatch-wearing youth grinned reassuringly Viola's way. "If there's a problem, we'll just have to punch it in the face, yeah?"

That wasn't usually the best plan. Tzi Ti'amtum was perfectly aware of that. But despite what he was saying, he was worried. There was something just ... super unnatural going on. You had to cut a bloke some slack for that. Like Viola, he didn't have any idea what was going on. But if it was some ... unnatural monster or something, then he couldn't really think of anything more right now than to punch it out. Or hit it in some other way. That was usually how they took out monsters.

"Just keep calm and we'll handle it," he continued with a shout, running after Gradon. "Make sure nobody gets the Princess, yeah?"

Current goal: follow Gradon. Goal after that: beat up whatever is responsible for this stuff. Protect his mates at the same time. It was a pretty basic and half-baked plan, but until he could get more info, that was the best he could do.

As they closed in on the ruins, however, the thing responsible became clear to his eyes.

"That's ... big."

Thrice his size, in fact.
YYEAAAHHH GIANT ROBOTS!

This is still open, right? Can I join in?

We've got our robot pilots and all, but you fine with not doing a robot pilot?
Massive apologies for not being around.

Don't really have an excuse beyond self-inflicted procrastination over schoolwork and the like.

If I don't get a post up by tomorrow, I will eat hot sauce raw.
Expect replies to everything I've missed hopefully tonight.

I should probably push out some homework stuff before so I don't need to stress out on Sunday night.
Marsail Cirsium

The cliff, if Marsail recalled it correctly, overlooked a vast forest full of Grimm. It was something her da had mentioned to her before she left home, but she didn't expect the knowledge to come into play so quickly. She wondered what the initiation would involve; if they were going into Grimm-held territory as she was assuming, then why the cliff?

Was that the entry point?

That was more mental than she thought it would be.

Still, she would need to jildee up there if she wanted to make it.

The violet-pink haired girl shook her head, adjusting her cap slightly as she headed up towards the cliff.

Really, a cliff?
Marsail Cirsium

The Marsail Cirsium that left the locker room was not the Marsail Cirsium that entered.

In the short time that she had spent preparing herself for battle, the Cirsium heiress had undergone a radical transformation, her very appearance and demeanour having changed utterly since the night before. The grey woolen jumper had disappeared to parts unknown, its kindly warmth replaced entirely by a stiff, militaristic aura that was only cool professionalism. Her outfit was almost entirely black, ranging from her heeled, tough boots to her well-fitted pants to the gold-trimmed coat, its tail dangling shortly behind her. Her simple, reddish headband no longer rested upon her head, and in its place was a peaked cap of black and minute lines of violet, its colours a powerful contrast to Marsail's brightly coloured hair. Electric blue eyes, sizzling with intensity, watched everything around her in perfectly clarity, no longer trapped behind black-rimmed spectacles that had never held a true purpose.

Most prominently, however, was the wicked steel blade that rested against her black-covered shoulder. It was a weapon of relatively simple appearance, but its sheer size, coupled with the ease with which Marsail seemed to carry the sword, left none doubting of the dangers it could pose. It gleamed in the light, the sloping quillons of silver sparkling with every ray that broke through the clouds.

Her steps were powerful. Purposeful. Prideful.

Marsail Cirsium was here to become a Huntress.

To become a guardian of humanity itself.

"Rest where?"

His words were quiet, but the question hung in the air, waiting for an answer that would never come. Kaede Yamamoto looked at the younger girl, his face having set into a pall of exhaustion and despair. Yet there was still enough in him to ask that rhetorical question, to question whether or not his underclassman knew the situation they had found themselves in.

"Nowhere near here," he said, the tinge of exasperation in his tone fighting with his tiredness. "Nowhere safe."

His safety was not that important at all.

He needed to find Okazaki.

That was all.

"We ... we can't stay put," he managed out with a sigh, before beginning to jog after Kimiko. His body still ached with the pain of that battle, but he ignored it. Pushed it to the side.
Marsail Cirsium

Marsail Cirsium was thinking about slumber parties.

Not that she felt like holding one or anything; she was moving out of the quine classification quite rapidly, after all. However, the sight of the darkened ballroom, sleepwear-clad students of all sorts resting in their sleeping bags on the floor, was one that she could not help but compare to the the nights she used to share with her friends and at times Èibhlin. The dull, whispered conversations between girls who were ostensibly supposed to be asleep, the quiet snoring of those who were too exhausted to socialise, the sudden pillow-based projectile that she instinctively moved her head out of the path of ... they fit her conception of a slumber party incredibly well. It should not have been anything surprising or important enough to note, but there was a part of her that took whimsical, joyful pleasure in being part of what seemed to be an incredibly huge sleepover.

It was almost enough to make her laugh, but she didn't want to wake anyone up.

They would be quite busy the next day, after all.

Clad in a simple pair of violet pajamas, the eldest of the Cirsium sisters settled down in an empty spot, rolling her bag out before quickly snuggling inside. It was still an overwhelming and breathtaking experience, being within the grand halls of Beacon Academy, but Marsail Cirsium felt content. She had made it. She was one step closer to becoming a Huntress. One step closer to becoming someone like her da.

So she wasn't worried for tomorrow.

The violet-haired girl closed her eyes, letting sleep slowly wash over her.

Her weapon was stored safely in her locker.

She wondered how Conall would fare; even though the lad was someone she was yet to be entirely familiar with, she mentally wished him luck, even if he would not receive it. He likely would find it unnecessary. But it was no matter to her.

Marsail Cirsium would sleep for now. And tomorrow, she would succeed.
