Vert felt the ring tighten on her hand. Her eyes grew big, as it did. Then she closed her eyes thinking that maybe this was the Storytellers doing to make sure it fit. But then he said that he hadn't caused this. So this isn't his fault? Then why was it doing this. Thoughts rushed through her head. For the moment the worse she had to fear was her finger getting chopped off which Vert could recover from easily enough. "I'm not so sure if this is a good thing. Please tell me this is a good thing? Or..." Vert looked down at her finger again. Her mouth twitched a bit revealing sharp teeth. She was prepared to chew her own finger off if it meant this thing wasn't going to hurt her.

Well, then I'll write a post where the bear gets handled... in front of the statue. Any particular way you wish to land a potentially finishing blow?

And @Cuccoruler Since we'll be 'sacrificing' the bear (sorta), would you please prepare the magics?

Feon looked over to see the lizard approaching her. "The texts are rare. I would say about one per town if we are lucky. Thankfully before starting this whole mission I was able to gather some information on this. I have a bit of knowledge on where to find them." Feon added before looking over to the Alionna. "What is to stop us from becoming more of a threat from this power? If you were listening earlier you would have known. I already stated, this power has a back side to it. After a year, you will forget all of the knowledge you have learned with it." Feon repeated. She was starting to think that this Priestess was thick headed.

"And as for destroying it. I have no intentions of it. It has it's uses, and I don't plan on it." Feon added walking closer to the priestess. "If you have a problem with this then you don't have to take part in the ritual. You don't even need to be here." Feon added getting annoyed by the Priestess. With everyone doubting her and being so ready to kill each other Feon was starting to get to the end of her own wits.

"And before I forget anything." Feon added picking up the goose she had knocked out earlier. She threw it into the air before kicking it into the statue on it's way down. Her foot crushing it's heart against the concrete on the statue's base. The statue seemed to glow a bit green before wisps of energy seemed to flow into Feon's head. It felt like her mind became unclouded in certain respects. She had gained the power of the statue.

@lord of Evil Actually I have to agree with @BKburke with tony telling the others. Tony does seem like the type to tell them. For now I'm using my power as GM to have Tony have no idea on this so we can get past this.

Oh an @BKburke No one has actually stated that they knew who he was. Atleast not to my knowledge, so you should be fine honestly. What you want to do about it is up to you. However if you wish for him to remain seen as human then I can enforce the metagaming rule. Other was known as, the only people who know he's a demon at this point would be Alionna and Feon (Feon is a monk kinda a holy thing there, but also Remus)(Also Feon doesn't care what he is)

*sigh* If I had known it would be so easyou for the party to find out he was a demon, I never would added that item to my list in the first place. That makes one useless enchanted item that was a waste of space. Well make it two, the ring doesn't have a point anymore either since the statue gives incredible knowledge of magic that could lead to extreme power, that makes two useless items that were a waste.

The kind of magic you get is honestly not set in stone. Truth be told I'm still brainstorming. But I would love suggestions.

Currently the first spell we get after this is a sort of finding spell that helps us locate things like artifacts and such. There for, we can have them find artifacts as well.

Also, the real reason was to test Astiroth's powers...but put it subtly. By having a bear chase him.
