Rad’s probably just posting from his phone. I know my grammar is shit when trying to push my tiny touch screen buttons & I couldn’t care less how legible it is OOC wise but that wasn’t very nice of you to say regardless. He’s an excellent rper with one of the best creative minds that I’ve had the pleasure of collaborating with, & it just so happens that he wants to help with this plot. You didn’t even answer him.

He's from The Netherlands and has a hard time understanding English grammar sometimes, so it's a bit confusing when the grammar is incomplete or a little over the place. Nobody is judging Rad here and he is more than welcomed to join by any standard.

I'm generally referring to the stiff dialogue when a character forces interaction with another one. Or typically, when they're trying too hard to be "cool, interesting or tragic". And the most awkward introduction I have ever personally dealt with would be one through Skype RP in which my partner would go after males and hit them with quarterstaff out of supposed "fear" before revealing who she was and trying to tag along with the party members who she just hit a few minutes ago.

Which, I need to get to. Sorry about that, I tend to go through ridiculous mood swings and phases where it's hard for me to focus on one certain Roleplay while I'm interested in others. Sometimes, I just don't pay attention at all. Now, I didn't respond to Alessandra's comment for one simple reason: I don't want to step on your toes or for lack of a better term, steal your thunder. I'd be willing to take up the RP, buuuuut, we all see how my GMing goes.

Now, if you want to split the role of GM evenly among the people who are interested -- few Co-Mods, few Co-GMs (trust me, dammit, I've done this before), then it's much easier, y'see?

What's the most things you've seen in RPs?

• Shounen supernatural protagonists.
• Academy settings.
• Bar fights or other forms of awkward/cliche character introductions.

Alessandra you know that old RWBY rp I was talking about? I was actually GM of that, but I forgot about it, abandoned it and made it die :( (I would be a bad pet owner)

It's okay, I'm an awful GM as shown by my constant ability to totally forget about certain RPs. It happens and we learn from our mistakes (most of the time). I'm sure you'd be a fine GM, but if you aren't feeling up to it, then either a.) ask someone else to do or b.) ask everyone involved to share the role.

Before this site, I was on another so I haven't come across a RWBY roleplay (or more like, didn't have the chance to) so what do you mean by other RWBY roleplays tend to be the same?

Also, your second question is one of mine too...

There tends to be a lot of RWBY Roleplays on Tumblr, Skype, Wikias, Fanfiction and especially here on Roleplayerguild. Most of the RWBY Roleplays on this site tend to be a lot like Harry Potter Roleplays: they all take place in the same school, often without canon characters (sometimes with canon) and usually in just a different time period or "alternate universe".

It would be interesting to see a RWBY Roleplay that takes place in the same universe, but with a different concept than the actual canon series. For example, an opportunity to explore the RWBY verse, different locations and academies from around the RWBY world. That sort of thing. Now, if OP wants to go for a regular Beacon academy RP, then that works too. Trust me, a lot of people will still bite. I might even still join, just warning that they tend to be fairly common on the site, so I was wondering how exactly this RP would work, per say.

Potentially interested, though most RWBY RPs tend to be the same, so my question is do you have anything in mind to make it interesting? Also, how would it work in term of team and teammates: would a player be allowed to control only one character or an entire team, etc?
