"You either die a hero or live long enough to see yourself become the villain."

Full Name: Charles "Charlie" Yang
Korean: Yang Chi-yeol
Age: Thirty-six
Sex: Male
Sexual Orientation: Heterosexual

Allergies: Charlie's family grew up as foodies with huge appetites and deep pockets to match. It was at the age of six that he learned that he was allergic to shrimp. Depending on different situations, his reactions to shrimp usually ends up with Charlie getting swelled up, puffy cheeks and a matching tongue.

His reactions mainly come from the digestion of the shrimp, but there was a time in college that his face burned up as one of his roommates had microwaved shrimp flavored noodles and the flavoring in the air had caused him to break out.

Scars/Tattoos: Had one of his kidney's removed as a teenager, so he has the scars left on his body. Otherwise he was never really a man who got tattoos, regrets that he never got one though, because he believes it would have made him a bit more badass.

Height: Stands at a height of six feet, two inches (6'2")
Weight: A well oiled machine weighing in around two hundred and twenty-two pounds (222lbs)

Health Conditions: Charlie grew up with a gout, which is an attack of acute inflammatory arthritis or tender, hot, and swollen joints. They usually happen during the nights and early mornings during random times. The attack or pain usually lasts for two to four hours, which Charlie has gotten used to, but obviously the pain still hurts. There were instances where the pain had gotten to be so much for Charlie that he had to leave school during those attacks.

Skills: The skills that Charlie have vary. He is a well-off public speaker, athletically fit, but a true city-boy, never really being one to like being in nature. Charlie is a quick-study and learner though, as he had learned to adapt into nature and survive on instinct and gut-feelings. He also had joined a mixed martial arts group at the start of the incidents.

A very new skill that he picked up a year or so ago has been woodwork and carpentry though.

Hobbies: A hobby that Charlie still retains is reading. No matter where the group ends up he always has to find a book that he can pick up and bring along with him so he can have something to read. A new hobby that he had picked up though has been carpentry. He has had extra time on his hands so he learned how to build things out of wood. He can do pretty much any basic design, like chairs, fences, tables, and walls.

Fears: His biggest fear that he used to have was becoming a mute as he treasures his voice, but his biggest fear now is probably becoming a zombie himself. Charlie would rather kill himself than let that ever happen.

Strengths: His voice is a strength, and so is his charm. He has a warm and commanding aura and presence. Leadership is strong quality that he also has. Another quality that Charlie has that is a strength and weakness is that he is self-less, making sure of the positive well-being of others versus his.

Weaknesses: He isn't one for violence or guns, but he does know how to defend himself. He is a better brawler than he is a sharpshooter though if that counts, Charlie would rather choose to fight with his fists than with a gun in that sense. Both a weakness and a strength, he is pretty self-less, caring for the safety of others over his own though.

Personality: Charlie is very charming and outgoing. He is extremely warming and comforting, but it isn't only just his presence, the warmth is also in his voice. He can calm and soothe just about anyone which makes him a great orator or public speaker. At times he can be very fatherly, some people find it annoying, but he knows that all he's trying to do is look out for those around him. He is a man who would rather try to talk something out than rely on violence, but he is a realist and knows that the world is changing because times have become desperate.

Warm and welcoming is how Charlie is on the outside and most of the time, but the deep, inner parts of him are black and empty. Charlie does have a switch and he is the only person alive who knows about it. The sides to Charlie's two personalities are completely and utterly polar opposites. The kind, caring father personality that he showcases also has a darkened, demonic shadow form. The darkness came when the zombies arrived, taking away his family. Charlie's dark side has never been seen by his new friends and family, but he himself knows it is still there since the incident.

Overall Charlie is a genuine and sweet guy who is trying his best to help others live comfortably.

Biography: Charles Yang was born as Yang Chi-yeol in Seoul, South Korea. His parents, Chan-yeol and Jin-ah, were two young, rising professionals in two very different areas. His father Chan-yeol was a writer for a newspaper, New Seoul Times, while his mother was a researcher working for a medical research company called Kvanced Genetics. He grew up with his grandparents raising him as his parents were busy with their professional lives, so his childhood he grew up very traditional and well-groomed. It wasn't until the age of nine when his twin siblings were born that his parents took a step back.

His brother and sister were a blessing as with their arrival brought the presence of his parents home too. His brother was named, Jae-young and his sister, Su-ji. Being raised by his grandparents he already knew about chores and independence, so that also helped with him becoming a third parent to his siblings, making sure they were always in line and being safe. With his parents taking a step back from their careers they also decided to move the family to California in the United States. The move to the States also brought out new names, making it easier for others to get to know the children. Chi-yeol was renamed Charles, Jae-young to James, and Su-ji to Susan.

Coming to America gave Charles or Charlie as he went by the chance to become someone new. He used what his grandparents had raised him on and set out to become a positive role model for all. He was loud, involved, and very outgoing, becoming a star athlete and well-rounded student all through academia. He graduated college with a Law degree and was a public defender for a period of time before making the change to the corporate world. He was a budding professional like his parents, someone who was on the rise.

With his quick-wit and charm he made waves through successful agreements and settlements with companies and Fortune 500 groups and was on the fast track. His life seemed perfect, but the only thing that was missing was his family. Like his parents before him he had lost himself and forgot all about his family, and by the time he realized it, it was already too late.

Attacks had started happening and Charlie tried to get his family together. He was able to find and get to his sister, along with her children, but it wasn't too long before they were lost too. He found refuge in a new group and has been with them since, hoping to survive all he can with the people he now considers his family. One thing is for certain this time around, he will do whatever he can to make sure no one dies.

I'll get my CS up either later tonight or tomorrow!
I'd like to throw my interest hat in the pool too!
Hi! I'm looking for a smaller, casual group of people to do either one, two or possibly all these Role-Plays with. I want people who are willing to help with development into the storyline/plot/etc. and I want people who are wanting to be more dedicated to the story rather than just me doing it alone.

The various fandoms that I really want to Role-Play are Fire Emblem, Pokemon, Legend of Korra/Avatar: The Last Airbender, and Fairy Tail.

I have some ideas set up for all of them, but again, I would love to hear input if you have them and also would love to see if there are any interested folk! So holler and let me know!

POKEMON: AMONG THE STARS
Setting: Any Region, will include ALL Pokemon
Plot: Everything is peaceful and quiet, nothing seems out of the ordinary. You were on your own adventure, catching Pokemon, making friends, battling, everything and anything was possible. The morning of that one fateful day though, the skies turned black and the world around you changed. Wild Pokemon became either scared or aggressive, something in the environment made them that way.

That same day the skies changed you get a call from a certain friend, calling you to visit him, and to do a favor for him. The world is failing and something is about to happen, and your friend wants to meet. You're just a young trainer in a big world, what are you to do?

We're the trainers who are called by a mutual acquaintance, things get crazy when people meet. Drama, adventure, friendship, rivalry, morality, all the fun stuff.

FIRE EMBLEM
Setting: Any of the Games
Plot: Bandits attack a village you're in. You and whoever else that is able to wield a weapon of some kind help defend it. The thing is, after defeating the bandits you get dragged into something even bigger than just a bandit raid. It was just the beginning, now you're being hunted down for treason and heresy, you and those who helped defend the village. Very open world and free, I want this to be more laid-back but heavily driven by the wants and needs of all characters.

FAIRY TAIL
Setting: AU; Newer Generation
Plot: Our characters are members of the Fairy Tail Guild and all they do is take jobs, wreak havoc, and have a good time doing it. Make up teams, friends, rivalries, enemies. This is heavily driven by characters and players too with what and how they want their characters to be like. I have a lot of ideas for arcs and whatnot, I want this one to last.

AVATAR: THE LAST AIRBENDER/LEGEND OF KORRA
Setting: AU; Newer Generation
Plot: New avatar, new friends, new enemies. They travel trying to hone their skills but obviously with heroes comes conflicts and troubles that they have to face. Very free and open ended RP.
Here's my character! Hope to see more soon too!

@ViolentViolet Well, I think I should be able to help out with all that, I don't see why not.
@ViolentViolet Oh! But I wouldn't mind doing that anyways, will help with character development and creation! :)
I would love to join this! And I see the only position left is the leadership position so I guess I can do that if you're still looking!
